Talk about real Mexican food!!! This is the place you want to eat. The food is made with fresh ingredients from their own local garden. The sauces are amazingly spiced that you will continue to ask for more. The staff’s hospitality is true to the Mexican culture: FRIENDLY with a family feel. This joint makes hard shell tacos just like my Grandmother made for me and I mean the exact same way. Now that I think about it did my my grannie steal their recipe? Hehe jk she'd never she was a real G... Carlos is a great dude and Nikki is beautiful in side and out... Come here and enjoy an hour or two and you'll see what I mean.

Wow, what a great find! The food here was fantastic, so many options. Great service too, server was very friendly. The chips, salsa, and some extra bowl of another delicious dip were amazing and were just what we needed to quell the hunger while our mains were being prepared.

Came here on a whim for some authentic Mexican food. Our waiter/server was so kind and gave us hibiscus tea on the house. Food here is great! Great portion size, amazing guacamole, and fresh tender carnitas.

The Guadalajara Taco is still great. I have been dining there since the seventy's watching the entire area improve and evolve around Parsons.

Definition of a hole in the wall spot. Best birria taco I’ve had in Pasadena. The Raul Special was great. The service was friendly and inviting. I instantly felt like this was a neighborhood restaurant and I was a part of the family.

So we walked by and the AC was off...buuuuuttt, stopped in anyways! Glad we did! The service was great and food even better! If you like michiladas, they are delicious. Ask for the green one! You won't be disappointed! Within minutes, forgot it was a little warm in there and totally enjoyed our visit! Thank you and hopefully we make back!

Decent spot for lunch in old town Pasadena. Food was good and served hot. Chips and salsa were nice. Service was a bit gruff but was timely. Worth a stop if you are in the mood for Mexican grub in Old Town.

What a cute little place, right in old town! The food was delicious, affordable and our waiter was so kind. I appreciate how the chef honored all my weird requests (burrito with no tortilla or rice, on top of veggies) and came up with a beautiful plate for me. I will definitely be back.

We had some pretty great birria tacos (with guac, rice and beans) and chicken enchiladas -- and at a great price, especially for Old Pasadena.

Host was very nice but food was served very cold. Our waitress was very nice at it but the owner came out and was very hostile. Won’t come back, food and beer can’t be worth this treatment

This place is a hidden gem !! The food was VERY good seasoned well and the Birria is on point. Great Carne asada burritos as well pricing is good & 10/10 recommend

Wow, It was a pleasure being able to enjoy fresh coffee and posole the night before the Rose Parade. The owner and staff were truly welcoming and communicative. May this place always be blessed with good business.

My partner got food poisoning after eating here. He’s been sick for two days. He ordered the asada burrito. The food was bland and kind of sad. Maybe this place was good at some point, but now the people who work there seem shady. And they obviously don’t care about food safety.

The food and service was wonderful! Carlos was great at making sure we were comfortable and left with a full stomach. Authentic Mexican food. Old Town ambiance. We weren't sure they were open as all looked dark from the outside, but I'm SO glad we went inside!

Had read good reviews about the food here. Don’t let the small, diner type atmosphere fool you. Our meal was fabulous! (My wife had mole chicken….best she’s ever eaten)! Carlos waited on us and was very accommodating and fun. Their chef knows his way around the kitchen! 😋
