These trails are great for walking, running, biking, or hiking. There are gravel, natural, and desire paths of various difficulty so you can choose your own experience. About every half mile or so there are some benches where you can stop to rest and admire the scenery. If you're lucky you'll see some colorful birds or deer. Dogs are allowed on-leash and if you make it to Holly Park there's a water fountain for them. I plan to come back since there's many trails I didn't explore the first time.

This has been one of my favorite trails for years. It's grown a lot since about 2009 when I started walking here. Lock up your car. There have been cars robbed at these trail. The trails themselves are great! Well kept and a joy to walk. There are a lot of side trails also used for biking.

LOVE going here with or WITHOUT my girls. These trails are perfect for capturing beautiful nature photos, family photos or going for a relaxing walk, run, or bike ride. My teenager has an interest in photography and enjoys getting to practice in this beautiful environment. There's a separate trail for bike riders/jogging/walking as well. The trail that runs along the creek is great for mountain biking and nature walking. Very pretty scenery!

Very nice place but came to see Lego Display. Alot of people was there for that also but it was way across the property. No signs to guide us to this very interesting display. For seniors it would have been nice to know how to get there ,which was quiet away to walk. Thanks for the benches along the way.

If you like narrow mountain bike trails then take a left just after passing the bridge. There are quite a few roots making for a bumpy ride. Sections have a steep drop off to the bayou. There is a long beam you can ride on top or go around.

I forgot I was in a major city!! What a beautiful escape from the hustle and bustle of people and traffic. Beautiful trails for hiking, biking, and walking. Come here to escape the madness. No masks required.

This is a nice wooded trail winding through words and crossing bayous and borders athletic fields. There is a parking lot at the trail head and a deluxe children’s playground and restrooms at the other end. It’s also a great birdwatching location. There are lots of pathways leading away from the main trail to explore. It’s a great escape from the rat race all around us!

I love coming here for my walk-jog, plenty of shades, and you can choose the shorter or longer trailers. If you pay attention you can spot armadillos, birds from the blue jays to the cardinals, and plenty of squirrels.

I was lucky enough to come across both deer and turtles on my first visit. Signage for the loop could be better. Just kept going and going - wound up close to Bay Area, wow not what I bargained for! The path along the bayou is pretty sketchy in certain spots so pay attention. Also if it has rained that week I wouldn't bother. I was a muddy mess when I made it back to the car. All in all a beautiful place to enjoy nature!

Love coming here, always so nice. The concrete place with the tiny waterfall is excellent for naps. Also used a peice of grass to lure a bunch of robins to me. Found a weird mirror and cross, definitely haunted.

One of My favorite trails in Deer Park area! Has a stream next to bike trail but I walk their also a regular walking trail, park and track! Beautiful deer, butterflies, birds, turtles and bunnies! I have seen snakes they go their way I go mine never on trail just in grass but no need to fear just don't bother them and they won't bother you as with most nature!

These trails are a great, local escape, from city life. It's easy to forget you're in a city of 150,000+ people when you're out there.

Marines train here! Contact the local recruiting office if you think you have what it takes or if you want a good workout!

Great place to run, ride and even kayak! Bring your bug spray and watch out for smaller common snakes. I always carry pepper spray with me as well. Just incase I run into a grizzly bear! Jk I just always stay prepared though for an emergency lol

Great trails for walking, jogging, and riding your bike. There are even mountain bike trails for those seeking a non flat surface. Nice place ro get out and enjoy nature for a bit.

This use to be a great trail, but lately there has been a huge uptick of vehicle break-ins and now the entire creek is filled with raw sewage. Very disappointed that this trail is not getting the attention it needs from the local governments, to help preserve the habitat and police the area so us tax paying citizens can utilize the grounds safely.

If this is for the end of the street neighborhood park... As far as the hike & bike trails section go's, It's nice & peaceful I guess, just don't understand why it looks as if so many trees have been removed & clearing being done... I've been going here for years & its obvious to me thats what's happening... maybe they were already dying or a safety hazzard. It's possible I guess. Still enjoyable in the evening, (which is when we usually go). Now for the other part of the park, there's the all newly redone walking track. Really nice & wide, smooth & level... but that area really does needs more trees. Although they just added & recently finished a dog park section that's all fenced in with quite a few newly planted trees in it. There's also a pretty nice playground area there with picnic tables...
