Went here to have something to eat with a friend. Really liked the atmosphere and the music of the place. Was told by the person drinking that the beers 🍻 there are really good. Enjoyed the chips and guacamole 🥑. The tortilla chips were homemade as was the dip. They also have Cranberry Juice, which is what I drink now that I don't 🍸 drink (no I'm not on my period- reference The Departed). Would definitely come here again.

It felt good to go out and dine in after all this madness has been going around. This place has indoor outdoor seating, outdoor patio is super cozy and chill. Back before covid this place had live band, unfortunately not at the moment, hopefully bands will come back soon. But for now it's a quiet place you can go on dates. The food: We got impossible burger, regular burger, fish tacos, and chili cheese fries. The bun on the burger was perfect, the amount of sesame seed on the bun was phenomenal. Both burgers were delicious, The flavor was like eating a healthier version of McDonald's big Mac, and it was delicious. The chili cheese fries was delicious, i was so glad that it didn't even give me heartburn. Everything was delicious. Definitely check them out. 🤙🏻

The best fish n chips I've had in a long time! Tender, moist, with a light, crispy batter. Reasonably-priced, too! We also had a massive chili-cheese burger that needed a knife and fork to eat.

I've been coming here since pre-pandemic and it's still my favorite local bar, with the same great drinks, food, and staff!! I love that there is an outdoor patio and dog friendly! Their craft cocktails are amazing, and the WINGS ARE A MUST TRY!! I wish they still had live bands on the weekend!

Very allergy friendly & communicative - the fish tacos and various burgers can be made gluten free. And this is a good place for the covid cautious - spacious interior with decent airflow and a heated patio with good atmosphere. If I had one point of critique it's that I would love to see more menu labels alerting customers to the existence of the gluten free options, as we had to enter on faith. Thankfully, our faith was rewarded with delicious food! Tacos were generously portioned and the sauce was on point.

Nice airy gastropub. Great for watching any sports game. Bartenders are chill and doesn't get too crowded. The fish and chips and the nachos are my personal favs

This place is great. Good atmosphere, good food, good drinks. Lots of craft beer and they make good cocktails. The service can be a little slow. Highly recommend their Old Fashioned.

The food was too expensive for the price. $14 for a burger without fries. The burger tasted like it had plastic with the cheese. Highly don’t recommend. I normally don’t write reviews, but this left such a bad taste in my mouth (literally) that I felt like I had no choice. Unless changes are made such as including fries with burgers, making it taste decent, it’s not worth spending your money or your night here. Do not come here — especially since there is so much competition in Pasadena that actually include fries in their meal.

food and atmosphere are great but don’t expect full service, so tip appropriately. Expect to get up and get your own drinks. Cocktails can take up to 30 minutes to arrive if you order using the QR code on the table. You are better off going to the bar to order. Water is self serve.

Came here for the first time today. Food and drinks were great. Staff was super friendly. I will definitely come back.

Great place to hang out for food and drinks. Caters more to a young crowd, but appeals to a wide range of age groups. The pub is right next to a parking structure, so finding a place to park is a breeze. Good selection of beers and mixed drinks.

Great patio - large space, laid back, great local beer, decent cocktails, decent food with basic vegan options. The cauliflower tacos are small imo but tasty, the impossible burger is good but have to request no cheese and mayo.

The beer selection was great. Some of their dishes were not amazing but the burger was delicious. I find it strange based on their location and everything that it was bar service only.

Good burger (get the bbq ranch burger) and house made dipping sauces. The ranch was delicious and the ketchup was tasty too. Lots of beers on tap (24) with a good selection. Full bar. They were playing the soccer match when I stopped by, so a good place to watch a game. You won't be disappointed.

I’ve been here a couple of times. The drinks, food & ambience are great! This place deserves more recognition. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because of the two bartenders that I encountered this time around. They were rude, didn’t seem to communicate with one another to take care of orders, demonstrated poor service and negative attitude, and they seemed to display these mannerisms with all customers that evening during my time there. One of my friends had requested angosturas for her old fashioned that she paid for and was asked to come back to the bar in 10min for her drink by one of the bartenders who was male. She did so without hesitation and understood that she needed to wait for the angostura. But when she returned back to the bar, she didn’t get the angostura with her drink. The bartender who she’d initially ordered from was nowhere to be seen so she asked the other bartender, who was female, about her drink. This bartender rudely said she didn’t know anything about angosturas or what her coworker had promised and that she wasn’t going to give out “free alcohol.” My friend didn’t want to exert energy on that situation and walked away with the incomplete old fashioned she had purchased 10min ago from the other bartender. Perhaps the bartenders working this particular night need to re-evaluate their occupation or receive adequate customer and social skills — or more importantly how to make a complete old fashioned. However, the waiters/servers provided great service and were friendly! Will go again, but hopefully those bartenders won’t be working next time.

Huge portions of food. Our party tried 4 items and all were good. My only wish would be more selection of non-IPA beers. But if that's your thing you'll be happy. Great service! Friendly staff.

Love the vibe. Great collection. The staff was welcoming and the service was also great. Must try their loaded nachos. The only thing I didn't enjoy was their loud rock music. It was so hard to communicate with someone right beside me. I may become a regular there so hoping to get 5* worthy experience soon.

It's a very cozy place. I like to meet with friends here. One of my favorite features is the place/space itself. Different kind of setting opportunities inside (high table, regular table, bar, etc.) and the fabulous patio in the alley. I found the crew very friendly but also responsive (hard to put it into words, but I feel welcomed and cared for every time I go there🤔). Definitely my favorite bar in Old Town. It takes time to locate the entrance from Colorado, but totally worth it.

Walked in after seeing the great outdoor setup, and we weren’t disappointed. Great atmosphere, nice owner, and good drinks. We didn’t get to try the food, but it looked good. Definitely a go to spot when in Pasadena.

Liked the way this placed was set up. Has indoor and outdoor seating available with heat lamps. Although I didn't have anything on the menu other than a side of fries, I did enjoy their selection of drinks. Staff is also really nice and accommodating.

My friend and I were looking for a cafe to do some work, but all of them were jam packed. When we saw King's Gastropub, we had this revolutionary thought: "Why not do some work over some beers?" The Chiefs and the Bengals were playing this day so it was relatively crowded, but we managed to find a table in the outdoor area. My friend got a domestic ale, but I decided to be adventurous and tried the Hard Grapefruit Kombucha. I had never tried a hard kombucha before, but to my surprise, it was actually pretty delicious. It should've had 4.5% ABV but it tasted like a non-alcoholic grapefruit kombucha. I would definitely recommend this to all my fellow lightweights or to anyone looking for a light drink. Although it felt like the bartenders were understaffed, all of the staff was very friendly and were quick to clean up any empty cups or plates. Technically, there was wifi, but it was unusable because it was extremely spotty. We ended up using our phone hotspots the whole time. Good vibes, good drinks, and good food. What more can you ask for out of a gastropub?

Nice space. Sat outdoors. Online menu confusing. All items out of stock or unavailable to order on line. Instead, they use it only to post the menu and prices. You must order at the register and get a number.

First visit and I wasn't sure what to expect. It seemed like a dive bar, so my expectations lowered a bit. For food and drink orders you make those at the bar. This is where the experience ramps up. The bartender was very helpful in choosing one of the beers, even allowing a comparison taste. Decent menu options and the cheeseburger is good. Fun, low-key atmosphere, good vibes. They have a couple of TVs, outdoor seating, and a sand shuffleboard table. Prices are typical, some beers are around $8 or so. This is a place to return to.

Great service. I like the fact that you have to go up and order your food/drinks. It makes more efficient and quick to get your food/drinks. I had some yummy fish tacos, but I ate them quite quick before I could get a pic.
