Jameson Brown is such an awesome, local coffee spot in Pasadena, south one block of the 210 Allen exit. I highly recommend supporting them by stopping by, picking something up, and or using their indoor and outdoor seating. It’s great to see groups of 2-3 gather to meet and chat as well as others working or reading. Per the name and what you’ll see inside to the back left of the entrance, they roast their own beans. They’ve got some great specials and regulars on their menu. For example, some regulars are the Lavender Breve and Vienna Latte, alongside the basic/foundational coffee and espresso drinks. Similarly, the pastries are really tasty! The atmosphere is also really great, with hanging lights above the whole space and overall just a great, positive energy from the staff as well as other patrons. Not everyone (patrons) are always wearing masks at their table while not eating or drinking, despite small signs in each table that say otherwise, but the tables are more spread out than they were pre-covid. I’m really glad this place is still rocking. Come see for yourself and tell your friends!

I'd been hearing about Jameson Brown Coffee Roasters for a while. I finally got a chance to visit and it truly lived up to the hype. The coffee and hospitality exceeded expectations. Having lived in Seattle for many years I have missed the ubiquitous availability small-batch freshly roasted coffee. This place roasts their beans in house every morning. So nice! I tried the Myan Mocha and was surprised but at the same time very happy with my choice. The menu clearly states that this drink is spicy. It was not too spicy for me and I enjoyed the change of pace from other Myan Mochas I've had in the past. If you are expecting cinnamon and nutmeg you won't find it in this version. This one is just great coffee, fancy chocolate, and chili spice. This place has great coffee, cool vibes, and excellent service. I'm looking forward to going back soon.

The coffee is one of the best coffee. The place doesn’t feel really cozy like other trending places (places for “Instagram Picture” people) but the taste of that coffee is out of this world. It’s for real coffee drinkers

Probably some of the BEST coffee we've had in a long time. Baked items were tasty too.

What a great stop! I had a cold brew with caramel syrup and it was phenomenal. Friendly staff, great location, clean restroom.

Stopped by on my way to the Allen Gold Line station. I was surprised how large the interior space was compared to the outside, it's a large industrial space conversion that still managed to be a cozy spot. It's a popular spot with the petit and haute bourgeoisie and the coffee and pastry options all looked good. I wish I could have had the pastry but have been cutting back -- I was hoping for some sort of eggy thing but there were only pastry. As for the coffee options, i narrowed down my choices to Mayan coffee and Vienna mocha, and the barista helped out by pointing out that the Vienna was sweeter. The Mayan was super good and spicy and unlike Starbucks holiday lattes, it didn't make me sick. Because I had to return the afternoon. I thought I would get the lavender breve then. Unfortunately they are not open in the late afternoon.

I love the mocha latte and lavender vanilla breve here. They have a large selection of pastries including several flavors of pan de sal. The bacon cheese pan de sal is a must try. The interior is rustic and comfortable. Outside seating is also available.

In need of caffeine first thing in the morning and came across this gem near Pasadena City College. Really chill vibe with seating where you feel comfortable with friends or just sitting alone. The Latte was crafted perfectly and you can tell the underlying coffee is high quality. I had a blueberry muffin from the day old bin. Best blueberry muffin I've had in 2 decades. Not overly sweet, nice crumbles on the top. Will go back and buy some beans tomorrow.

A neat little coffee shop in Pasadena right off Allen exit of the 210 freeway. Great coffee here. My son Introduced me to this place. This place has a lot of characters. It has all the cool antique coffee making machines. The coffee is much better than Starbucks as my son claimed. I guess it’s not bad. They do have some unique blends. Mayan Mocha is great. The aroma is special and I enjoyed very much. My wife got a lavender tea latte. The lavender fragrance is very strong on the tea. My wife loves it. The service was excellent and the made the coffee very fast. It only took them 5 minutes to get both the tea and coffee ready. Parking is easy as there’re a lot of street parkings.

Very cute and spacious coffee place. Has a few interesting specials; loved my snowball latte. The service is quick, friendly, and professional. Will surely come back and can't wait for them to reopen their indoor seating.

Why did it take me so long to know about this place??? I love it!!! Delicious coffee, tasty chocolate croissant, great music and vibe overall. Try their snowball!!! And I love the multiple seating areas - coffee tables, area with benches and pillows, and high bar stools, depending what you like the most.

You can bring your own cup!! It has to be clean, of course. I appreciate that a lot! I like their mochas very much, I'm not too in love with their vanilla lattes. But I'd definitely recommend trying out their coffee! Finding street parking is pretty easy, you just may have to walk a bit further than you'd like.

Always delicious. My new local go-to coffee shop. This is the spot if you’re not a Starbucks drinker, want to support small, and appreciate a well made latte. Their mocha is delicious. Also they make actually good scones! Which is hard to do (most are too dry). Prices are also actually reasonable for the sizes and quality. 10/10 recommend.

This coffee shop with an industrial atmosphere is a unique gem. The spacious sitting area creates a relaxed environment, perfect for work or catching up with friends. The highlight is undoubtedly their delicious latte – the balance of flavors is spot-on. What sets this place apart is the on-site coffee grinding, adding an extra layer of freshness to every cup. The industrial vibe complements the overall experience, making it a great spot for both coffee enthusiasts and those seeking a cozy ambiance. It’s a must-try for anyone who appreciates quality coffee in a distinctive setting.

Foam Art at Jameson Brown Coffee Roasters. In addition to great coffee. The Foam Art by these creative baristas is amazing.

The espresso here is very good. It's nice to find a coffee place in my neighborhood that takes their trade seriously.

Went here during the week around 10am. Food: Had the Pandesal with bacon and cream cheese and Turkey and cheese croissant. Drink had the Vienna Latte (Honey and Cinnamon). Food was okay. Coffee was a bit bitter for my taste, but it may be good for others. Service: Everyone was nice and food order was quick. Coffee was also fast service. Atmosphere: This gave a hipster vibe. Good place to do some work or hang out with friends. It does get busy with people coming in and out. Parking sucks, but that's Pasadena, in my opinion.

My husband’s favorite coffee place! I love it too cause they have a great selection (I’m not a black coffee type of person, I like the sweet stuff! I love their Lavender Breve)! The ambiance is really relaxing and they have a lot of tables. There is a fireplace area too, so it’s pretty cozy. They strung Christmas lights out all year and it looks nice! The cashier and baristas are friendly and there are lots of yummy pastries to catch your eye at the register. The only thing I wish was more convenient was their parking. It’s only street parking and it’s usually packed and you have to take the residential spots (i feel bad for them) and walk far.

My husband and I usually only like the coffee that we have at home. We very seldom like a coffee place. Neither one of us even care for Starbucks. However, both of us really like Jameson Brown Coffee Roasters. The coffee and the staff are both great! Their baked goods look good too, but we haven’t tried those!

Very good coffee roasted in house. Their specialty beverages sounded really good. They had a Lavender vanilla breve that piqued my interest but I opted for something less milky. My friend decided on that one, however, and she stated she really enjoyed it. The service was great; friendly and helpful staff. I enjoyed the ambiance the most. Edit: went back and had a Mexican mocha latte and it was spicy and rich. Recommend.

I like this coffee shop, makes me want to sit down and enjoy the atmosphere. They roast their own coffee, so you know its fresh. Baked goods are fresh and makes me want to buy more. Its location is easy to find and park at.

Jameson Brown is a refreshing coffee spot. I always order a Coconut Breve and Coffee cake. Can’t go wrong. Aesthetic is pleasing. Pairing is usually good.

Good coffee, plenty of seating, interesting atmosphere! It looks like a layers office from the outside but from the inside, it looks like a coffee shop factor. The coffee was really good. They have seasonal items so be aware that they may not have what you want. I had the Vienna latte and it was good.

I've been to this place a few times. This place is not too small but not too big either. They do have some tables for people to dine in. I recommend their special coffee. I am hooked by their coconut breve!

I’ve never had a Pumpkin Latte quite like this! Rich flavor that harmonizes nicely with the coffee rather than being overpowered by pumpkin syrup, which is what I feel often happens in pumpkin lattes. Also tried the coconut latte and would suggest that if you like sweeter drinks, again the coconut and coffee flavor balanced nicely rather than one over powering another. Friendly staff and adorable old factory vibes. They were roasting coffee throughout my brief visit and the process was fun to watch and smelled fantastic.

LOVE LOVE LOVE their coffee!! My "go to" in Pasadena. I even plan my days in Pasadena around their hours! The only slightly side note I can make is that the employees often seem "bummed." My daughter's verbalized this before I ever mentioned anything. I just chalk it up to me being "friendly" and that's just not their "vibe." Has not stopped me from buying their coconut coffee!

Very good place but don't know why they didn't give me the coffee in a mug😩
