Beatiful Church and beautiful service whether the Holy Mass is celebrated in English, Latin or Spanish. The ordinarium parts of the Holy Mass are always in Latin, at least whenever we attend. Church members, clergies and laities are all welcoming. The choir is heavenly.

We got married here but the secretary, Griselda really hates her job. She messed up my marriage certificate and I had to pay for the change. And she refuses to send the paperwork back to the la county office so I can receive my final marriage license. I paid all the fees to get married here and everytime I call just to see if they received information or if it was sent, the secretary answers with such an attitude and never responds to any request. Doesn’t really fit in well with the Catholic Church does it? Beautiful church, but the staff that works there hates their job, are rude and very unhelpful. Again, the secretary’s name is Griselda.

The church is beautiful and awe inspiring. The church was painted by European artisans and is worth your stop. Find some parking near by and then walk down to Slater 50/50 for lunch. This is probably a 20 minute stop but if you are in Pasadena , it is worth your time

Church service is spiritually filling. I am always welcome, from the people attending, to the staff and the priests. The joy received is inexplicable. Having faith is so rewarding.🙏😇

My favorite church in all of California. So beautiful. The vaulted ceiling and colored marble pillars are amazing... I could go on. You have to see it for yourself. Even on the hottest summer day it stays nice and cool inside.

Huge Catholic church building just right off the 210 freeway and parking is available across the lot for people attending the mass. The liturgy was very solemn and/but the music brings you back to the olden days. The reviewers are correct about how beautiful the architecture is and it gives you a European feel.

I live 20-25 minutes east of Pasadena. My boys moved to Pasadena recently and I suggested that we attend mass at St. Andrew one day since it was near their home. We LOVED the church, we loved the mass, and we felt welcome by the parishioners. It's so very different from the church in our town. The first time we went to St. Andrew, my daughter said she really thought the church was beautiful and wanted to go back. We now attend mass at St. Andrew at least twice a month. It's a great way for us to go to church as a family again and visit our boys at the same time.

It's a beautiful church and I'm so glad that they've preserved so much even after the destruction of so many Catholic churches. I'm thankful that they do processions with the Blessed Sacrament and other reverent things. Thanks be to God. But, they still aren't there 100% yet. They've still got female 'lectors' still and that's not great because I'm not supportive of women priests and historically Lector is a big step for a seminarian towards priesthood. And unconsecrated hands manhandle Our Lord. That is such an abomination. The dress is still lax. You'll find some women cover their heads in respect for the Blessed Sacrament, but most do not. You'll see women with bare arms and it's just not a unified reverence in dress. I don't think they teach it here. They have concerts here and play guitars... and just still so many Protestanty or irreligious or non-Catholic things here. This church is close to the Truth but is like something is stopping them from embracing it fully. For a Church that still hasn't phased out the 1970s New World Order Novus Ordo practices, it's doing better than most. St. Andrew, ora pro nobis.

Beautiful Romanesque Revival church in Old Town Pasadena. The marble columns are something you normally only see in old European churches.

Love the church. I do have a complaint, though, about the very high volume of the organ played during mass. It almost shakes the ground.
