I came to Sanctuary Fitness at first because I saw a good deal on Groupon, who knew I would be here at 7am everyday since! I love Sanctuary Fitness because the workout is awesome, so many great instructors (we love you Sharon!!) 😍 You have to be fully vaccinated in order to workout here and the stations are tapped off to 3 people per station. I feel very safe and I love working out here!

Sanctuary fitness is one of the best gyms I've been to. Classes don't feel crowded and it is very sanitary because people are sanitizing after each station. The staff and trainers are all very proactive, engaging, and helpful. I'm glad I started going to this gym!

Sanctuary is great! The HIIT workouts really push you and the coaches are wonderful. What I love about Sanctuary is that the coaches go around to make sure you have good form. This may seem like an obvious thing to happen at a gym but I’ve been to so many places where they don’t about care about these things and people get hurt. I love how varied these workouts are and no two weeks are the same!

Sanctuary Fitness Pasadena is one of the few HIIT workout gyms around. Because I took a break at another gym, I decided to try this one out because a running buddy had twisted my arm to go. The workouts are intense. It's divided into 4 stations with 2 substations where you rotate between A and B. It's kinda confusing at first, but the instructors do a good job of demonstrating the workouts. If you do it right, your muscles will be sore the next day. I feel that Sanctuary Fitness gave me a better workout than the other gym. If your muscles aren't as sore the next day or two, you aren't doing any work. I thought the gym was pretty small than what I've been used to. Equipment wiping after each station is mandatory. There's also a "unwind" session at the end of the class, but you can probably do your own stretching if you're inclined to do so. Plenty of parking (paid, but cheap) in the garage, or the streets.

Sanctuary Fitness has an amazing HIIT workout format. There is various types of equipment and it is kept clean. The instructors are helpful and energetic. I get a good sweat from going from station to station. Overall a great place to exercise. The facility is neat and enjoyed the shower and amenities in the locker room.

I love the format of the class! The instructors are motivational. We are shown modifications for the workouts we do so they can be more or less strenuous. I like this particularly because I don’t feel pressured to do more than I am able or ready to do. Coming here has helped me tone up and has become a critical part of my routine for my physical and mental health. If you’re curious, def give it a go!

I absolutely love Sanctuary Fitness! This is the first time I’ve felt comfortable at a gym. Not only am I working out correctly but there is also sense of community. I love taking Aubrey’s classes! She knows me by name and I’ve only taken a couple of classes with her. She makes me feel seen and I always get a good workout. Sharon is also amazing. Her kind and tough-love spirit always gets me up and going in the mornings. I appreciate this entire team and I can’t wait to grow here.

A really good program and all the instructors have been fantastic. The space and amenities are all top notch as well. There is 90 minute free parking in the structure next to it, otherwise you are going to have to street park.

I joined Sanctuary Pasadena after not being in a gym for over a year! I like the variety in the workouts, small group environment and its also very clean and safe. Teachers are great and will readily offer encouragement and help with modifications if needed. Oh and parking is easy a plus in Old Town.

I absolutely love sanctuary fitness! I’ve gone to HIIT classes at other studios, but the classes at Sanctuary Fitness make you work hard and every workout is different. The instructors are encouraging and supportive, the studio is very clean, and overall you leave feeling stronger.

This is a great fitness studio and has helped me get out of my COVID-19 fitness slump. The classes are fun and high energy, but you can put as much pressure on yourself as is appropriate to your own skill level and goals. I like how the exercises change with every class so it isn't boring. The locker room amenities are great.

Not a place I would actively seek out but I did. Classes are set and capped so there is no overflow of people. The instructors are great, positive, friendly and encouraging. The facility is clean and is still deep cleaned every Sunday. You can purchase a membership or packages. I went with a package to start. If your looking for a cleaner and friendlier alternative to corporate gyms then I suggest Sanctuary Fitness.

Sanctuary Fitness is amazing! I am exploring different gyms & classes in Pasadena recently and immediately become a big fun of sanctuary fitness. ALL instructors are so kind and encouraging. They not only explain different moves in details but also offer alternatives to help you. The environment is also great. Definitely worth your time to check it out.

I tried their 7 day pass and visited 6 classes overall. The vibe and people around you really stand out, and it is a fun environment. The trainers do a good job of explaining the workouts and encouraging you to push to your personal limits, high or low. The workouts are fairly challenging, for the most part. Different types of workouts are spread throughout the week so you are working out a different area and muscle everyday (push, pull, legs, core, cardio). Experience level matters, and you can always modify as you please. The classes are packed, music is loud, and you will walk out feeling better about yourself. I would definitely recommned taking a class if you are interested.

My new spot! Sanctuary welcomed me with open arms, great facilities, and a great workout. All of the instructors are kind, excited, and welcoming. I always feel sore & tired after a workout there! If you're looking for a gym to get in, get sweaty, and get the most out of your 50 minutes, Sanctuary is a wonderful spot!

I just loved Sanctuary Fitness! The classes are a mix of cardio and strength exercises, very intense, and the feeling after each workout is surreal. The teachers are all really nice, thoughtful and helpful and the energy of the classes is truly something! So great.

The folks at the front desk are always helpful and welcoming. The classes are challenging, and because I'm still getting fit, I do need a lot of modifications, which all the instructors are very good about providing. It is a group, so you are not necessarily going to get 1:1 feedback about your form, but the group energy is what I need to keep motivated. You can always flag the instructor if you need help or a reminder on how to do an exercise but it is kind of on you to do that.

I've been working out/training for 14 years now and so happy i found Sanctuary Fitness. Classes leave my body more sore than i have in a long time. They take the guess work out for you; plan the work, show you the movements, and bring the energy to get you through it. The sanctuary time at the end is a great quiet and recentering moment that we often do not take on our own time. Go check out a class, i highly recommend a Tuesday Morning with Sharon as your coach.

I live outside of Pasadena and the commute to Sanctuary Fitness every morning is so worth it! I’ve tried several work outs and gyms in the past but never felt the same energy and motivation Sanctuary brings. I love the variety and combination of exercises as well as the music, atmosphere and most importantly the people. Everyone is super friendly and makes you feel at home. It’s always good to start my day with a work out at Sanctuary Fitness!

I was looking for a gym to come to when I am in town for work - I’m here at least once a quarter for about a week. I LOVE this place. Such a good, intense workout. All the instructors I’ve had are amazing. And they have great first timer deals. I highly recommend.

Sanctuary Fitness provides a great work out! I had never tried a HIIT class and the instructors are great at walking you through the different exercises. I felt comfortable attending class knowing that it would be simple and I would have a great workout after just 50 minutes. Class was different every time which made it very fun. The instructors were very energetic and motivated you to do your best! The staff were are so friendly! Best thing about this studio was the importance of keeping everything clean.

I just finished my 15th class at Sanctuary Fitness in Pasadena and I am loving these workouts! The instructors are fun and very motivational. The vibe is inclusive and not pretentious, which can sometimes be hard to find from a gym in LA. The exercises are challenging, but you get out of it what you put in. I always leave feeling like I've gotten a solid work out. Happy to have found a new home at Sanctuary!

Great classes, great coaches, great facility! There is plenty of street parking. I always leave Sanctuary Fitness feeling like a new person. I love that they guide you through post-workout stretches too! Highly recommend.

I had some free class pass points and was trying out all the Hiit workouts around Pasadena. Sanctuary ended up being my favorite. All the instructors are super friendly and have great energy. I've now gone for a little over a month and a half going 3 times a week. I've lost 10 lbs and feel stronger than I've ever been. I love the variety of workouts they offer. It's different every day so I'm never bored. I keep trying to push myself with each class and I feel great every time I leave. :)

I love working out here. I joined three years ago while visiting LA for a few weeks, and when I moved back to LA the first thing I did was rejoin Sanctuary. The classes are hard but fun, and the instructors are the best part. Every teacher pushes you and inspires you to be your best in class. I love working out here

After 5 classes at Sanctuary Fitness, I can confidently say that it’s become one of my favorite hiit studios in Pasadena! All the staff and instructors are so welcoming and great. There are different circuits you do each class and every time I come in I learn new moves and it’s quite challenging but also so much fun. Classes have been pretty packed lately but seeing many others workout just as hard motivates me more!

Since starting sanctuary fitness last month, I am finally starting to appreciate and get into lifting weights! The instructors are energized, cheering you on, and playing just the right music to keep you going!

Really enjoyed the yoga session! It stretched out & eased some of the soreness from the HIIT classes. Feeling refreshed & put me in a positive mindset to start the day. Allyson provides the best guidance !

I've tried a lot of different gyms and workout classes in LA and Pasadena, and I can safely say Sanctuary Fitness is one of my favorites! I appreciate that the staff are friendly and that the instructors (especially Allyzon, who I believe is the owner) are always observing and telling you how to adjust your form . I've tried some other group classes with the rotating stations that feel hectic and I am pretty shocked I was never injured, but I definitely don't get that feeling here. The workouts are also fun and challenging!

😐 Hope you enjoy no shower or cold showers. For the most part gym is good. Kept clean and most of the equipment works as it should. I like to go in early morning before work, shower and head into job for the day. Usually 2 showers of the 4 showers work. Takes 10min for water to warm up if it warms up...

😠 I have been coming here for several months now. 😠 Next to no maintenance and poor staff. It's a mess. Look at the photos I posted here. If you go, expect your workout to be 50% longer because things don't work and they don't have enough simple, cheap things like exercise balls, foam rollers and enough free weights. There are broken weight and car...
