Float Pasadena is a cute little sandwich, drinks and dessert shop in the Burlington arcade. Convenient parking lot in the back (first 90 min free), some tables outside, and you can ask for the bathroom key. I tried a tuna sandwich before and wasn’t very impressed but they’re known for their floats. The creamsicle was good! Definitely a sweet treat worth trying.

Float is a niche sandwich and ice cream float shop in an outdoor mall in South Pasadena. The area is cute and spacious to sit in. The actual establishment itself is small but inviting. They make excellent sandwiches, but be sure to order before the kitchen closes. They also specialize in floats, hence the name. If you are feeling game, pick the Float's choice, where you pick the root beer or cream Soda of your choice, and they do the rest. It was an accident finding the place, but sometimes accidents can make for the best finds.

This is an amazing gem in Pasadena. It is a beautiful shop with amazing owners. Get their sandwiches and lemonade to beat the summer heat!

Outstanding sandwiches! Just exactly as a good clean sandwich should be. I discovered this business to late in life. My go to is the chicken pesto. Girlfriend loves the picnic sandwich. Try. This. Place! Its also located in a very charming hallway, I think the term is an arcade? Its worth a visit for the aesthetics alone!

Quiet Lunch spot, wheelchair accessible, good for all ages, great coffee, delicious sandwiches, easy to Park area. I highly recommend this place. I had a sandwich called the Italian float and it was very good. I also had a chai latte that was iced and I had an iced vanilla latte, both were very good and very well made. I'm very picky about my coffee and I thought this was very good. Not too acidic like Starbucks.

Float is a Pasadena staple in the lovely Burlington Arcade. The environment is pretty and inviting, good to catch up with friends or meet someone over lunch, soda, coffee/tea, or ice cream. Their menu has a good mix of sandwiches, drinks, and treats. The caprese I had was straightforward and tasty, iced tea refreshing and tart. I recommend a visit!

The Italian float had great components but it was so dry. Please consider dressing the greens! I love that it’s loaded with leafy greens but it makes the first few bites extremely bland and the last few very dry. 4 stars because it’s such a small note. I hope the shop takes my tip into consideration. The ambiance here is superb. Btw if you have a smaller appetite you can definitely share a sandwich between two people.

Fresh pastries, and hot beverage. Deliciously made hot chai tea. The owner has a great sense of humor. I had to purchase one of the awesome sauces to take home. They do have free WiFi. This cafe is small but a lot to offer. Light music is playing while I enjoyed my drink and pastries. The first 90 minutes is free parking. They’re is a lot of outdoor parking.

We’ve been here twice, and both times have been so pleasant. The coffeeshop has its own quirks with plants, locally sourced products, mural, European style building exterior, and its signature floats. Their latte was so good and pretty with the latte art and the lemon poppyseed cake was SUPER moist and not overly sweet! Their croissant was also very crispy and fresh but I didn’t see it this time. The gentleman is so kind as well. Very pleasant place for coffee/float break and breakfast :)

Fresh ingredients but food not very memorable. They could use better bread for sandwich I think. The building it’s in is very charming spot and relaxing place to have a bite or coffee.

(First time) The atmosphere takes you elsewhere like you are overseas, while being just steps away from Lake Avenue. Free parking in the back, although be prepared to easily spend over $11.00 for one piece of toast.

I really enjoyed my sandwich and coffee at Float. The vibe was very laid back and easy going. I thought the price points were fair and the food was worth it. It's safe to say that I will be going back.

It was an okay experience. The staff was nice. The area is good for meeting up with friends or that person you're dating. Parking lot is 90min free then pay afterwards (one thing that sucks about Pasadena is paying for parking). Not really for reading or studying, but sort of okay if you want to leave the office a bit. Indoors is a little tight in terms of space. Outdoors there are tables. Price-wise, it was more on the pricey side, but nothing out of the ordinary.

I have severe chronic muscle pain and I am finding floating to be an exceptional therapy to go along with self massage and mindful movement. I've done 6 sessions now, once a week, and literally each one has been better than the last. I spent the whole first session trying to figure out how to get comfortable in this weird new environment. Now with each session I find myself able to release a bit more tension. I've found I can do some great stretches while floating which aren't attainable in quite the same way otherwise!

I gave this place a 5 star review about a year ago they easily had the best sandwiches in Pasadena. I have to change it to 3 stars because the last few times I've went have been sub par at best. The bread was soggy meat was subpar and overall it's a meh sandwich. The staff and owners are very nice but I believe this place can be way better than it is now.

This is a very fun coffee/sandwich shop in a cool location. As their name states, they specialize in a variety of floats of which I tried the Cold Brew Float. This is the perfect type of float for me seeing that I have an addiction to coffee and ice cream. Besides the floats and standard coffee arrangement, they serve a host of bagels and sandwiches. I tried the Bahn Mi which was delicious and I would highly recommend. This is definitely a spot to check out if you get a chance.

Very nice place. The quality of food is good but it’s missing a bit of improvement in terms of flavor. Salmon toast is sort of dry, needs a sauce or something to give it contrast. Chai late is extremely light in flavor. Overall is good but they could really make this place amazing with an extra touch!

Very friendly service and they care about putting out a good product. I got a g9t chocolate and it was fantastic. The ambiance of the coffee shop is great too. I stayed for a bit, people watching and reading. Its a comfortable place to stay awhile. Outdoor seating as well!

Small shop located in a cute little ally way. The stuff there is a little expensive which is a classic of LA. The dish i got was called the red cow (shown below) which is basically root beer with vanilla icecream floating in it.
