This is an absolute gem of a bakery to find in Pasadena. Their selection of pastries are bountiful, and each of them look absolutely delicious in their own ways. Similar to a Hispanic bakery, you take a tray and rings and select everything you want. At the end you take it to the counter for checkout. The prices are fairly reasonable, with all items ranging from ~$2-4. I was able to get 5 scrumptious pastries for ~$15, which was a great light breakfast snack for my family. Their coffee was good, but not as hot as I would’ve liked. Seemed to just be warm, but the pastries make up for any dings that the coffee had. Fantastic place for sweet and savory pastries to interest the palate.

This is the place to go for Asian bread, pastries and cakes. One can’t go wrong with the matcha red bean roll, pineapple cake and egg tart which are family favorites. Today, we discovered new baked goods like the ube bread and taro brioche. There are also more sliced cake options than before. The salted coffee and boba drinks are also good.

Lovely bakery with asian dessert options! Reasonably priced, spacious interior, and well managed. Lots of seating. Separate areas for baked goods, cakes, and you can order drinks at the counter too. Their egg tarts come in a box of two and were delicious. Tried their bacon and cheese bread as well, kind of disappointed because the bread had garnishes on top and wasn’t really filled with the toppings. Still tasty though. Will definitely be back.

Definitely a place to stop in and you gotta try something! The Bakery is awesome! I just wanna stay here all day and eat everything! Then they got all this food for breakfast and lunch that fuses traditional breakfast/lunch and then fuses them together with pastries and awesome goodness. I’ve never been but we stumbled upon this place and had to try it out and wasn’t disappointed. #hungryformore

You’re in old town Pasadena so parking is a street or nearby garage. Bright & open interior with a decent amount of seating. This place is always pretty busy but the line seems to move fairly fast. Awesome selection of pastries, sweet and savory. Authentic flavors and good prices. The sweets case is full of tarts, cakes and other declines desserts. I’ve always left satisfied and happy!

Food was great. Went first thing in the morning, soon as they opened. I only wished they were able to heat up anything upon request 🤷🏽‍♂️. Food was great though.

Horrible experience and customer service! Visited on a Monday around 4:30pm. The cashier named Mario spent about 15 minutes holding the line while talking to his friends from HS (see pic below). Next, we had to wait another 15 minutes to get two sea salt coffees because there was only one barista taking care of customers' orders. The manager eventually decided to come out to help with the orders and clean up the coffee station. I will never come back to this location.

Pastries and cakes were delicious. There is a wide variety of both sweet and savory pastries and each was individually wrapped (which is great, especially considering Covid precautions). They also have cakes and tarts by the slice, as well as whole cakes. The coffee is average and customer service could use some improvement. Overall great experience though!

The caramel milk tea I ordered was good. The pastry I bought - a chocolate chip flavored one was okay at best. The wait time for my drink was long, but there was only two people ( at the most ) working the counter. There arwn't any oulets to plug your phone or computer. It's a decent place in a great location, but you're better off exploring more places once you've tried 85 degrees.

Nice selection of pastries including individual packs…cake slices and whole cakes! Many drink choices, both coffee and non coffee. Had a Tiger milk tea, so yummy!

I asked for a sea salt coffee, which o have gotten at other locations and it was great at the other locations. When my drink was finally finished it was just left at the end of the counter. He didn't even bother to indicate who's drink it was. I checked a couple drinks left on the counter and found mine. I felt bad for touching other people's drinks but that is how they operate there I guess? I tried my drink and it was awful. It was absolutely nothing like the other sea salt coffees I had had at the locations. I waited in line again and asked the person who had taken my order and made the drink to simply fix the drink because it simply tasted nothing like the others I had had. He abruptly told me to stir the drink. I said I had. There was an awkward pause so I stirred the drink and took a sip and said it tasted exactly the same and it was not what I ordered because I've had several of them before and they weren't like that, so again I simply asked him to fix the drink. He said no because I took a sip of the drink. Mind you the cup was still almost completely full, it wasn't like I downed half and was going for a free refill. I yes I've had maybe three sips. How would I know my order was not correct if I hadn't? He again said he wouldn't fix the drink. I then asked for a replacement, much like Starbucks does when they mess up a drink. He said no because I had already taken a sip. Again I pointed out I would not have known the drink was wrong if I hadn't. I then asked for a refund. He said we do not give refunds. It was one of the worst customer service experiences I have had in a coffee shop. I wasn't rude or unreasonable, all I wanted was the correct drink I had come to expect and had received without problem from other locations. In the end I paid for a their mistake and apparently that is what they feel is good customer service. Clearly I won't return to that location and would caution others to understand they do in fact expect you to pay if they mess up your drink. Just know that if you get the wrong drink from the barista, well to bad because you aren't getting it fixed and you aren't getting a refund.

Perfect pastries at a great price point. The milk tea bun and mango custard bun are always on my tray and I also love the potato croquettes. The grapefruit green tea is refreshing and light, tastes delicious with or without boba. This is also where I get my moon cakes, which come in a large variety of flavors!

Way more choices than the 85 in Taiwan! Many drink choices as well. My favorite is the pork floss bun, I get it every time since I was little. Really authentic flavor, I like that they include the calories on each labels. Really friendly price! Cakes were not bad, good place get cake if you want something sweet!

I have very bad experienced yesterday to this 85°C bakery branch Green st. Pasadena their black forest cake slice was very cold and freezing, the 2 boba milk teas that I ordered it should be cold without ice but what they did to the teas was not cold and plain temperatures , the female crew spoke lifeless and dull, and bakery items displayed were fewer like they were left over not newly baked. I didn't enjoy the foods I got. I hope they will upgrade and change food stuffs and their way of treating their customers.

They had good pastries. My family and I had went for my birthday and the staff was pretty rude. We didn't sit for long as they were kicking everyone out to close early. It's a decent shop but would not be coming back.

They have lots of branches now, it's always one of the bakery places worth to visit. They used to have 85c coffee deal on Mondays back then, I am not sure if they still have that. I like their milk bread, so soft and yummy. I like almost all their taro bread also the one with mushroom topping. It is my option when I do my no-meat day. Waiting sometimes a bit long especially during hot day in this location because people bought boba and cold drinks. What I like about their bread, it's not overly sweet.. and the bread taste light. If you have never tried, you can't go wrong with this place.

Costumer service needs attention, I order a Mango strawberry smoothie super sweet not something I was expecting, I went back to the counter and told the girl that was taking orders, she was very non engaged and didn’t care. This review is on the costumer service side, not necessarily the bread.

This is a more spacious 85C store, even with some nice indoor seatings.

The sea salt coffee was delicious and they were kindly able to accommodate my order, with less foam (creamer)/ less sugar. The spinach pastry was out-of-this-world good. To top it off, the gentleman at the counter was very friendly, as well as the guy who put up w/ my coffee order.👌

Tasty pastries, very soft and fresh. They are now individually wrapped, it looks like this is new. Boba was good. If you go on a weekday morning you'll probably have the place to yourself and it's nice and quiet. If you're planning to study/work, there's no outlets so make sure your laptop is at full charge.

Got the taro bun, red bean bun, elote bun, and milk tea. Total came to $11 The bread in the taro bun was just as good as the filling, great flavor and texture Also had a rose milk tea, the Boba here might be my favorite I've had. Not rubbery at all, pleasantly chewy!
