Had a bad experience with their security and doctors during my Emergency situation. Needs training for politeness and kindness. Kung babayad ka na lang din ng private hospital, mag St. LUKES ka na.

Wasted the day here. After all the laboratories and tests, only to find out that they cannot cater the operation due to unaavailability of the room. If i could give them -1.00, it will be more justified.

I would like to understand the process of your hospital, wherein the way you accept patient is based on the money they will give. My sister is advised to be admitted for operations and yes we are thankful that there are some health agency assistance that you accept to lessen the bill to pay of your patients however the way you do it is so unreasonable. The patient needs to give a downpayment of 50,000 pesos before she gets admitted or entertained, seriously??? Not even a partial downpayment is accepted??? We are not rich as you are and produce that amount in a snap. Yes, I do understand that it needs a hospital admission report before we can get a financial assistance and i totally agree with that process but what I dont understand is not letting the patient in without giving a downpayment of 50k pesos, and not even considering a partial amount to start the necessary treatment which should be the main aim of a treating hospital, to treat sick and unwell people. We are humbly requesting if we can give partial downpayment as we dont have enough money for now and ensuring that we will pay the remaining balance after the availment of the financial assistance and whether it is approved or not, we are aware that it is our responsibility to pay it all,to pay whatever services you have provided to us. What's with the concept of money first before accommodating, you suppose to cure a patient and not to let the patient die due to lack of time to complete the money that you are asking...So sad that some hospitals in the Philippines are like this.

After 20 years, this has officially become my favorite hospital in the Metro. It's old but clean; safe and secure. The people from security and utitlity staff to nurses and doctors are all friendly and competent. Parking is an issue, though. We always pray and hope for the best ๐Ÿคฃ when it comes to available parking slots. For those who like cafeteria food, their daily fare is very good, relatively speaking. They always have fish soup (sinigang or tinola), fried fish fried chicken, longganisa, vegetable, pork and beef. dishes.

Real "emergency". Wait for over 10 hours with only nurses came over to chat with. Blood test. Uri Test. Ultrasound..second ultrasound... they just left you there to wait. No medication but all kind of test done. Some nurses are impatient to inquiry or even talk to felt like i owe they millions? worst experience ever. There are 1 star because the lowest is 1.

Rushed my partner at the ER at 11pm. After some tests, they said he needed a CT Scan at 3:30am for a possible surgery. We asked if there's an alternative, and they said an Ultrasound, which would be cheaper, but that dept/office wouldn't open until 8am. Due to excruciating pain, we decided for him to have the CT at 4am even though it costs 14k. We thought this would speed up his medical care, but it didn't. Here I am typing this at 9am, 5 FVCKING HOURS AFTER THE CT SCAN, and there's still no progress. Having your "possible surgery" patient wait 5 hours for a result is beyond me. If we only knew, we would've opted for the ultrasound since the end result is the same. So much money and time wasted!!!

We had an ermgency situation, because our daughter hurt her arm at the airport. We only had about 1 hour to be able to go back in time to catch our flight. The doctor in the ER understood the situation, treated her quickly and we were able to be back in time.

Bad service and does not give a quality care for patients, I hate to say this but also discriminate the family of the patient is this really a hospital or a place for discrimination and prejudice against people who only have normal life. Not being considerate to every patient even though it is already critical and the conclusion provide confusion to the related person of the patient. They even hold the money of the family and harass to pay the bill even though the family already ask to give a little time because they will get the money to pay for the bills, this hospital take advantage of the family and does provide a negative environment for family who only has normal living.

March 3, 2023 at 4:00pm STAW AWAY! Wag kayo mgpa admit dito! I guarantee you pag sisihan nyo one time big time! My brother recently visited San Juan de Dios Hospital and unfortunately, his experience with one of the staff members was less than satisfactory. When my brother sought clarification on some billing information, the Officer in Charge (OIC) at the Billing section responded to him in a rude and unprofessional manner, which was very disappointing. In a healthcare setting, it is crucial for staff members to exhibit professionalism and compassion towards patients and their families. Rude and unprofessional behavior can not only negatively impact patients' experience but can also cause undue stress and anxiety, which is detrimental to their overall well-being. It is essential for the hospital administration to take measures to ensure that all staff members are trained in providing excellent customer service and upholding professional conduct. Overall, I hope that San Juan de Dios Hospital takes this feedback seriously and works to improve its customer service, ensuring that all patients and their families receive the highest level of care and respect they deserve.

If zero star is an option, I would gladly do that. Negligence, inadequate treatment of patient, suffering, inconvenient payment structure. Expensive medical bills. Insufficient nurses and doctors, all highly contributed to the demise of my kin. I am at lost of words for this hospital and the administrative structure, enter at your own risk. The structure is not built properly to accommodate gravely sick patient. Itโ€™s so narrow and congested. Patient to be accompanied by 1 caretaker at all times is really bad policy. Also, nurses are insufficient, caretakers need to take up part time nurse job as well. Super unprofessional

If you have another choice and it's not an emergency, don't get confined here. They have good OPD doctors, but the confinement is another story. They have limited facilities and sometimes your stay might get extended because of this. Just waiting for the equipement. Such a waste of money. No one will assist you during discharge and they they don't tell you anything about updates on your stay and at least a time frame. The ward is okay tho. They give you free basic utensils and an electric kettle to use for the duration of your stay. BTW for the bantays, if they ask you if they need to send for you too, please be informed that it will be charged on the bill.

Terrible experience, I hope I never have to feel this way again. For a private hospital, One of the nurses and a doctor was very impolite. The doctor got impatient with me because of miscommunication over his misusage of a single word. I felt like I did a crime for bringing someone to their Emergency department. They were rude and talk as if a boss/ teacher asking you to answer a trick question.

If zero stars were an option, I would gladly choose it. My experience with this hospital was an absolute nightmare, and I hold them accountable for the loss of my beloved kin. Their negligence and inadequate treatment resulted in an unimaginable tragedy. The shortage of nurses and doctors was painfully evident throughout my loved one's stay. Their condition required constant care and attention, but it seemed like the hospital was understaffed and ill-prepared to provide the level of care needed. This lack of medical professionals directly contributed to the negligence that led to my loved one's passing. The hospital's infrastructure was woefully ill-equipped to handle gravely sick patients. The cramped and congested spaces were far from conducive to healing, and it was apparent that the facility was not properly built to provide optimal care. To make matters worse, due to the shortage of nurses, caretakers are forced to take on part-time nursing duties. This is an unfair burden to place on them, as they are not adequately trained or equipped to handle medical responsibilities. In summary, I am appalled by the overall level of care and the hospital's administrative policies. I cannot recommend this facility to anyone, as it falls short in meeting the basic standards of patient care and safety. If you value the well-being of your loved ones, I advise seeking medical assistance elsewhere.

Shouldnt every hospitalโ€™s mission be โ€œto save livesโ€? I find it utterly disgusting and ridiculous that a hospital refuses medication and ceases treatment if payment stops. Back in Singapore, every hospital regardless of restructured government hospitals, or private hospitals, their mission is to save as much lives, and the bill is secondary. Billing should only come after patient is discharged from hospital and it just shows how little this hospital values Human life, if their SOP is to cease all medication and treatment to a critically ill patient if payment has not gone through successfully. Utterly disgusting, would never recommend anyone to come here unless you wish to experience death.

Everyone knows that hospitals are full during this time but declining to admit a patient in an emergency situation is unlawful and inhuman. This type of hospital is one of the major reasons why the covid cases are rising in our country by not accomodating patients that needs immediate medical attention and sending them home.

My brother was rushed in this hospital, he was critical and needed serious medical attention. Instead of attending to his needs, he was left outside the ER and the HEARTLESS, INHUMANE ER STAFF, asked my aunt to go directly to the ADMITTING SECTION. This is one of the nearest hospitals to my place in Pasay. It's accessible by one tricycle ride from Barangay 137 and back, so you don't need to go far or ride a cab. The services are okay, too, and at reasonable prices. They have CT Stonogram at a price just a little above that of Pasay General Hospital, the public hospital nearest to me. And they are open to out patients even during weekends, unlike the weekdays only service of Pasay Gen. The lab was fast with text notifications and online viewing access, so you don't need to travel again to see lab results. You can just get them on your consultation date. Although htue don't have strong aircpn outside of doctors clinics and corridors or TV sets for waiting patients and guests, the cafeteria serve healthy and tasty food at really reasonable rates that people could easily afford. The last time I visited I spent only P50 for a lang ka and rice meal. Plus, they have strong electric fans at the cafeteria. They're also Maxicare accredited.

He seemed to have changed his approach towards me and told me maghihintay ka pa ng matagal gusto mo try niyo sa ibang hospital. But I insisted on waiting and got treated there. I don't think that it's the proper way of accomodating patients.

HMO staff and Doctor's are very helpful and kind. The downside is don't expect to be treated right with OR staff/nurses especially the guy on front desk they are annoyingly rude and judge you using your health card and philhealth. Does using it make their salary low? If not, then why they acting like if you don't pay cash they're losing something! What's the use of those cards if we don't use it? Just design in our wallets? It is suppose to be used during your health problem but when you use it you'll hear something.

The Sleep Test I underwent last May 25-26, 2023 have not yielded any result until today, June 14, it is nearly 3 weeks since. My husband had the same procedure in another hospital some time ago and the results were out just after a day. Why on earth has mine been taking so long a time? I have been following up directly to the Sleep Test Tech staff to no avail. We traveled 6 hours from Oriental Mindoro to Manila, spent a sizable amount of time, energy and money to experience a few instances of poor inefficient service and the absence of results is really becoming a great INSULT TO AN INJURY. You better shape up or I am nearly losing my patience. I am thinking of filing a formal complaint asap.

Hard to get sleep since nurses at their station always makes a racket late at night and even at the break of dawn. You can hear them laughing and talking. It's as if they talking on the other side of the mountain. Too bad their rooms aren't sound proofed.

Bad experience! Places you at PUI with other patients even if you declared you have other symptoms. Nurses are feeling Bosses. feels like if you pay via health card, they own you

I went there a month ago and went back last week to seek medical attention since I still have a cough after 7 days of medication. I asked the information staff to give me some of the doctor's contact number to seek medical attention and most of the consultation nowadays was set by appoiment. They just gave me the number of the insurance coordinator and even the secretary of the insurance coordinator was unhelpful. I have to call them multiple times just to be assisted correctly which is unacceptable. I was part of the medical staff once on a diff facility but we never treat our patients this way.

(Translated by Google) I just share my experience here at this hospital. I searched their website about maternity package sabe 30k to 40k depending if you are normal or cesarean, so I decided to give birth here since my OB is anjan in that hospital then thinking that my first baby so I took the risk of hospital to give birth for safe etc. Well only to find out that others were so surprised that I was in our final bill so that I had a cesarean for a normal delivery. Ito ha. I paid 30k to my OB since he said I would be cheaper because there is no tax and vat included I paid 30k I thought it was a maternity package. I was surprised when the Final bill came out with another 30k in the Operating Room. The 30k is different from the doctor who gave birth to you, the 30k is also different in the room when you work. I was very disappointed in this hospital. I know I will never come back. Poor service. Lazy nurses. Poor service. Worst hospital I saw. So don't try to give birth in that hospital. If you do not want to Bill 80k to 90k for normal delivery. Only in another hospital. Well only to find out na iba pala sobrang nagulat ako as in sa final bill namin para na akong nag cesarean for a normal delivery. Kung ayaw niyong ma Bill ng 80k to 90k for normal delivery. Sa ibang hospital nalang.

While this place is relatively old, the nurses and doctors are nice to work with. I say work, because treating a patient is complete work and having to handle a lot requires skill. My Mom takes her chemo sessions here with her Dr. Cornelio. Doctor is very professional and good at his job. We appreciate him being able to explain all the things my Mom wants clarification on. He never gave false hopes, but he was sure to give enough motivation and discuss the different treatments we can do for my Mom. As for the facilities, could be better: wider parking lot, make some areas well lit, extra security for the patients staying overnight, and maybe better food selections at the cafeteria (e.g. vegan/vegetarian choices, meatless mondays, mung bean fridays, etc.)

(Translated by Google) Hopefully they will be taking care of patients who have had a long time in their parents. Give a discount as a loyalty award. Sometimes the floor is smelly and even clean. There are nerves that guard the behavior of patients and relatives. Visit, say, many taboo. You're gossiping. Nothing in life. Nurses that you just have to say will tell you they are not working. They are not good parking, not safe.

Contact Informations are all ringing but no one is picking up. Been trying to call the ennnttiirree day to check on something but to no avail. For a private hospital that charges soo much, you have to be reachable for basic inquiries and concerns.

Don't know well this place. But I used to sit at the bus stop in front of it after nightshift. Think a bit about my old co-worker. Take a rest for a while. So sleepy. Then stand up and go home. Lonely but nice memory

Nurses are rude, specially the ones in the ER over the phone. I was asking nicely because i was honestly clueless with what to do, and they just answer you rudely. Fix your tone or better yet dont work as a nurse if you get annoyed by a simple question of how tos.

Poor service! We waited for 3 hrs and bought by the emergency due to my son's suddenly get chills while we are eating in one of the restaurants in moa. With high fever he was not given even paracetamol for the fever and let him just stay in the corridor laying while all the sick people pass us. After 3 hrs the doctor came and not even apologetic and kinda rude. Her intern and her give different instructions and did not explain what the possible diagnosis of my son but already discussing to us the medicine he need to take. Not until i asked her whar could be the cause. And after that they just left us without telling us what to do after!!!! Never to go back on this hospital. ๐Ÿ˜–The utility personnel and helper are more decent than those so called professional one!

I would like to give this hospital a 5-star because of that one nurse that extends her professionโ€™s horizon beyond what she expected to do. My father was admitted in the ICU, Nurse A. Buloron have shown exceptional nursing care. My father stated that she takes care of him very well, and when he asks her questions regarding his medications, Nurse Angel answers him very well and accurate, in terms that he can understand it. Even in the Mechanical Ventilator, she explains it very well than other Residents. Sheโ€™s the only nurse that combed his hair and focused attention on his hygiene and mental health. She offers her ear to listen always. She also doesnโ€™t show any unprofessionalism when my father needs help. She offers her hand everytime my father needs it. My father stated that he trusts Nurse Angel more than his doctors. Sheโ€™s More than a pretty face, truly! This kind of nurses are the treasures of your hospital. Thank you San Juan De Dios Hospital!
