PICC
is
an
example
of
Brutalist
architecture
executed
in
massive
visuals
and
honesty
of
materials.
It
is
a
work
of
art
of
National
Artist
Leandro
Locsin
which
was
erected
from
November
1974
to
September
1976.
Up
to
this
time,
it
exudes
elegance
and
grandure
that
gives
any
ceremony
a
special
niche
in
one's
life
story.
The
architecure
is
future
ready
with
very
high
ceilings
allowing
good
ventilation,
chandeliers
abound
giving
illumination,
with
wide
spaces
for
functional
needs.
The
restrooms
are
very
sanitary
and
well
maintained,
with
provisions
for
seniors
and
persons
with
disabilities.
The
ramps
and
stairs
allow
fluid
mobility,
inclined
in
moderate
steepness.
Highly
secured
and
well
maintained,
the
hall
can
host
very
large,
very
important
and
very
powerful
people.
The
last
time
i
was
there
was
during
the
Convention
of
Career
Executive
Officers
attended
by
the
top
Public
Managers
of
the
country
and
the
guest
speaker,
the
President
of
the
Philippines.
Power
outlets
provide
220
and
110
volts,
but
better
to
bring
power
juice.
The
hall
has
Internet
connection,
but
i
relied
on
my
Globe
service
provider
which
signal
was
strong
and
reliable
in
the
area.
Food
during
functions
are
catered
by
Via
Mare,
which
are
delicious,
and
cordially
served
by
very
attentive
and
a
staff
who
practise
health
and
safety
protocols.
The
hall
is
fully
airconditioned,
be
sure
to
bring
a
jacket
if
you
are
not
used
to
very
cool
settings.
There
is
an
ample
parking
space
surrounding
the
building,
and
area
is
easy
to
track
for
GRAB
services.
