I have been going here for years. And I get the best service I have ever gotten at a salon. The services are affordable and high quality. I got a balayage hair color today that looks like it was done at a top salon in Mobile. The stylists are awesome, especially Mrs. Monet! She is like a magician! She looks at a picture of what you want and realistically makes it happen as close to the picture as possible. 10 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

BEWARE!! They will scam you by saying their credit card machine didn’t process the transaction even tho it will show “approved”on your side. Sunshine cut my husband’s hair (and ear!!) and after he swiped his card and it showed approved on his side, she told him her screen “froze” and he needed to swipe it again. He paid $31.97 twice and left her an $8.00 tip even tho she snipped his ear!!! Both charges hard posted to our account, which means it will not fall off, as she and her “manager” claimed it would. 0/10 recommend this sham of a place!!!

Monet is the most professional hair stylist I have ever met. The last couple of times I have visited smart styles I’m always certain that she will give the color and style that I will absolutely love when she’s finished. She also takes care to listen to my wishes and is always kind, warm and never rude. I feel very comfortable when I’m there. I’m am also very comfortable sending others to her as I know how professional she is. I am happy and grateful that I decided to walk in smart styles because now I book an appointment every two weeks. I will encourage anyone to do the same ! :)

Jasmine(Jazz) was the absolute best stylist they had. I am soooo thankful I was lucky enough to have to get her phone number because something happened the day we went in there to get my husband's hair braided and we had to leave quickly. SO, she followed protocol but I begged for her number and I said well at least take mine please. She did. And I got a text. She wasn't there the next time we went in... I believe possibly something with management. I was able to get in touch with her and she has opened her own shop off main street. She is literally the best at what she does. A blessing to have met. I will forever be grateful for that day and can't wait to see her excel!!! If Smartstyle had anything to do with letting her go for the wrong reasons which she won't say (speaks volumes about her character) they are definitely hurting. What an amazing amazing person with an an amazing heart. I'll gladly support her new business. if you need info let me know!!!!

I have been going there almost 9yrs. At 1st they were wonderful and did a great job. My last visitshe messed my hair up do bad. Got hair all over me and would use the blow dryer to blow all the hair off, she said it would cost more , because when they use the hair dryer it's considered a style. What a joke. My hair is so short, it's buzzed and the want to chg almost $18.00 . I will be contacting the BBC about this and other ppl and places.

Says walkins welcome but no one is ever available and they close if no one comes in. Horrible for walmart to advertise this

Sheila cut my hair and did a fantastic job! She also cut my mom's. I was hesitant because, well, it's a Walmart salon and hasn't been so great years ago. But gave it a whirl and will definitely be back!!!

Went to get a haircut. The female barber stunk of weed, used tools covered in other peoples hair. Just plain nasty and unprofesional. She was nice, but come on. You dont want someone cutting your hair who is not in there right mind or having other peoples nasty hair all over you. You dont know what they got or if they got cut & now its on you.
