I love this resto so much. It has not failed us yet. No wonder, it's always full and a lot of Koreans patronize it. We got the Masil Set B for four although there's only three of us. We hardly touched the rice since there was so much food. All of the main and side dishes were good. The meat were tender and delicious. A staff grilled them for us at the table. There was also complimentary hot or cold tea. It's just a pity that the free coffee/tea vending machine is gone. The resto is spacious but could be full during peak lunch and dinner hours. We had already experienced waiting for a couple of minutes to be seated. Nevertheless, the food at Masil is always worth every peso.

Their kimchi is definitely in my top 3. When you're tired and hungry, this is the place. I gobbled up all their side dishes with ease and enjoyed the LA galbi and thinly sliced beef and flushed it down with soju. Now that I'm not hungry however, I realized their food was just alright. The galbi's texture was too soft. Wish it was firmer and sauce was too sweet for me. Beef was not lined well on the plate so it was hard to separate the slices. It took a while to get seated despite free seats (waiter forgot) and there's a giant mascot I didn't like looking at. Lastly, it's charcoal but we still had to turn on the table switch for fire? Or is there air fanning underneath?

Dine in early or late to avoid waiting time. Always packed. Very attentive personnel though not friendly but professional. Meat is very pricey though prepared well

I ate a few times in this resto in the past and today I ordered a lot of food and not even halfway from eating I was called and needed to go for urgent matter. I asked for our food to be packed to go but the waitress said they can only take out meat and not the side dishes. I asked for a manager and the manager said I can only do it now and just one exception and this time only. I paid for the food but they are not allowing take out of all the food I ordered. Ripoff. Won't eat here again and won't recommend people to support this kind of restaurants. It's like ordering McDonald's take out and not able to take out the fries.

All the meat we ordered were so tender and soft. Service was also quick! Will be going back for more!!

It’s been a while since I ate proper Korean food.

I ordered raw marinated Galbi for take out (to be grilled at home) and it was already expired. The beef tasted weird/sour. Have a feeling the marinated beef was defrosted from the freezer then they froze it back again. I called to inform them but they never offered to replace it or refund my money. Bad customer service! Will never order take out from them again. And to think I’m a regular customer 😒

Great Tasting Korean Food. Great service, staff are nice but I think the price range is quite high for the food quality. I still had a great eating experience here. So 👍👍

I just ordered tofu stew and rice if I remember correctly. I love that they still served all the side dishes even though I didn't order the meat set. I have to go back and try their kbbq meat set and I will edit this review to either 3 star (if I didn't like it) or 5 star (if I liked it).

The place and ambiance is clean and looks sophisticated. The staff were attentive to our needs and very polite. Food tastes comparable to that in LA. I was suprised of how tasty it is... especially the 2 meats and beef stew. I really liked the overall experience. Highlt recommendable

Well i would say it's more on the average side in terms of food and too pricey for what they offer. I think it's due to the location but i bet you can find unlimited korean bbq half the price you pay in Masil anywhere in Malate. It's not bad, but too expensive for a korean bbq.

Always a good dining experience here at Masil. The menu items are varied but the sets make it easy to choose. Price is reasonable for the quality that you get both in food and service. This is our nth time visiting this place and on March 2023, we noticed that they renovated their interior, making it look more lively, warm and bright. Only complain is that you'll likely smell "smokey" afterwards.

Good Korean restaurant in Tiendesitas. Although they changed they way they served the side dishes unlike before where it was plenty, now they serve it individually and was told refill is done only once. Only thing that I did not like was their Kimchi, but overall still good Korean food.

Good food but their call button is useless especially if there's a lot of customers. You'd have more luck chasing down the servers.

Masil is my favorite Korean restaurant. They serve good quality meat. Service is good, staff are nice. Their price increased a bit but just the same quqlity of food is still superb!

Ordered a lot. Now I'm overstuffed. Food is great. Cold soup was amazing.

Oohed and aaahed! Masil satisfied our ravenous stomachs! We ordered the Korean BBQ set for four persons and we loved everything -- the US-grade beef, its beef stew, bean soup, etc!
