The family room is so big, it can accommodate 10people (I'm not sure if they will allow it though). The room is well equipped with home appliances, they even have an automatic washing machine. Be careful with the use of the coffee maker, clean it thoroughly first! The fitness gym is complete with free weights and machines. The swimming pool is great! It even has a jacuzzi. The locker room has dry sauna. We haven't tried their buffet though, maybe some other time.

Very beautifully built, in the center of Metro manila, spacious, elegant, comfortable rooms with all amenities one may require during stay. It includes kitchen pots to kettle, cutlery, to washing machine, fridge. You can cook also, everything is there. Bathroom is just wow! With steam bath, shower bath to luxury bathtub. TV is visible from kitchen, sitting area, one screen in bedroom, and another in bathroom so one can watch while enjoying bath. Big wardrobe closest with facility of iron. Just love the stay!! Oh yes! Truly international grade restaurant. Big dining area, wonderful service and most importantly yummy food. Beautiful view from room, full glass wall makes it more awesome.!!! In love with this place!!!!😍😍😍

check in and out was very good. the staff was also helpful when we unloaded/loaded our bags on the day of our stay and on our departure. i had a bad experience here last 2022 when nobody helped me unload but the staff now are much more helpful. the food was also good. as for the bar, we are happy with the bar when we claimed our welcome drinks and we even ordered food and drinks because the prices were reasonable for a hotel bar.

Good hotel! Best bang for your buck! Kinda similar to Shangrila Hotel but smaller, but the price of the rooms are definitely much more affordable. It is also near our biggest and best malls. I don't think you'll regret staying here.

Great hotel with fantastic service and good facilities. The suite we rented was very spacious with a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. Staff is very friendly and professional. The location is great (very safe, clean, and with several restaurants, cafés, convenience stores and banks around the corner. Across the street is a minimarket that is open 24 hours. Recommended!

Stayed in a 2BHK unit for about 6 weeks while our stuff arrived by ship. Comfortable stay with great service and facilities (pool, gym, rooftop bar and restaurant). They had a great spread for breakfast and very efficient service. 3 Malls are within 5-6 minutes walking distance - SM Megamall, Podium, and Robinson's Galleria. Even Capital Commons and Ayala Mall are fairly nearby. Taxis are easily available.

The rate is affordable, starts at 9k per night, but we expected more as it's a 5 star hotel, specifically. PROS: - Affordable - Pet Friendly - Non-Smoking - Staff are accommodating - Bed is Great, Place is clean (as it should) - Facilities: Gym, Spa, Pool, Buffet service - Can accomodate late check-in/out - Rooms have kitchen and utensils CONS: It's the first time I experienced a "5 star" hotel run out of parkings despite a confirmed and scheduled booking. Check in early or call reception hours prior! The rooms are okay, looks like a typical hotel. Not that high tech, the appliances are relatively outdated, like the TV where you can't mirror your screen and stream. Make sure you pick your room as there are some rooms facing the wall, so you can't enjoy the city view. Request that from front desk when you're booking, if you can. It's a small hotel, but the services are great. Not quite sure if I'll book there again though as there are smaller hotels where rooms look better at a cheaper rate.

Excellent customer service, you will feel like a king. The room I got (Executive Studio) is clean when I entered. Everything is working. You can even cook your own dish or wash your laundry. Breakfast is also superb. Lot's of Bacon, Eggs, Friend Rice, Breads, and other stuffs. They even have taho on their lineup.

Had a great time for our family staycation. My sis reserved the 3 bedroom Unit. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Utensils and cookwares are provided. Dishwasher, microwave oven, induction stove top, and other things you need in the kitchen are available (except sharp knife -maybe for safety, bread knife are available.) Check-in time was way too late, compared to other hotels we've been. Almost past 3pm, due to the fact they have to santize the room for 2 hours. And so strict on check-out time of 12pm (we cannot request for a late check-out). Parking is limited to 1 car per room (even if we had the 3 bedroom accomodation). Better bring your own coffee grounds for they have a coffee maker. The one they got there is so so. Water is good for drinking (UV and filtered). Still we have our bottled water for safety. Please do check on the lights of the room, replace the ones that are flickering. It is giving us a headache, specially some of us wants to read a book on the living room area. Overall, still great. 🙂

We had the most bad experience here. We requested for 1 extra bed for 1k per night. The housekeeping did receive the payment of 3k. But upon checking out we had to pay 2k pesos because the housekeeping staff did not remit the payment and worst part is they only put 200 pesos per night and scratched the 3k pesos on our receipt. Which was a big modus in housekeeping dept. Very disappointed in our stay here. Even the department itself is denying the fact that they received payments of 3k. We ended up paying another 2k on the front office which is a very unprofessional management. This hotel is not recommended for anyone who is already on a budget let alone fix income. And i hope the managers, owners of this hotel reads this one as it was such a huge hassle for as because we were running late from our flight.

I had an excellent 3 night stay at Joy Nostalg and the room was fantastic - very spacious, lots of room, extremely clean and well appointed with good storage, excellent bathrooms, and even a kitchen. The food at breakfast was reasonably good, although the food quality could be improved. It provides very good value for money accommodation, although there were some hidden costs (local taxation) that I wasn't expecting at check out.

Drove from up north to Pasig on a Thu afternoon since check-in is at 3pm(!) Tired from the drive and got to hear there's no parking available despite having a booking in advance. Wasn't very happy about it. Couple hours later was able to park a few blocks down. This area is madness. Lots of traffic. Once up at the room, everything is Accor quality. Room is cozy, all amenities are great except an old Samsung non-smart TV which didnt allow me to cast my streaming services. Ordered roomservice and the staff had good coordination. The buffetbreakfast in the morning was well-prepared and diverse, really good. The quality of salads and fresh veggies were what I was expecting from an Accor managed property. Everything was great except for the atrocious parking situation. Maybe better to call ahead of time to make sure they reserve a slot for you to avoid what I went thru.

Rooms were nice, with kitchenette , mini office area, and a small sala. However, the locks are a bit difficult to navigate, CR lock of our room was not working. Some waiters in the banquette area/meeting rooms were not too attentive. Nostalgia bar/breakfast had an enormous spread, but tends to repeat their food items and extend until lunch. Pool and it's Cr/changing rooms was clean. Water in the pool had too much chlorine, but it was not itchy in the scalp. The roof had nice drinks, but personally it was way expensive for a chill night. :) View was superb.

  • 3/5 Raymond P. 1 year ago on Google
The rooms are nice and clean, the pool is heated and not too crowded. The restaurant is cozy enough and it'sproximity to malls like Galleria, Megamall, and Podium is a big plis. Honestly the experience would have been 5-star if not for the atrocious service when it came to park. Parking was a big hassle as there was no reserved slot even for guests who booked and confirmed earlier. They will instruct you to park elsewhere then move your car whrn a slot becomes free - honestly, it was a headache. We had to have a firm discussion with staff before we were given parking. To our surprise, there were dozens of slots available. If they were saving these slots for other people, we'll never know.

The staff were very nice. However, it’s disappointing to see the hotel has degraded since the last time we stayed in this hotel. The bed linens are quite old and some stained. The drip coffee maker is dirty with the old bag still inside. There is no face towels, have to ask every day. The manual bidet is faulty.

Jako, one of their employees, has really taken good care of us last night. He is very professional, and he is a role model of what great customer service should be. Because of this, we had a great experience right from the start. Our rooms were located on the 28th floor and everything was in order. Our stay was relaxing, and to top it off, we woke up to a great breakfast buffet complete with local and international dishes. Our stay is a highlight of our trip and we would highly recommend this hotel to our friends. Thank you Joy~Nostalg!

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, providing a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The hotel had impressive amenities, including a great pool area and a delicious on-site restaurant. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this hotel to others.

It’s like having your own home. The place is really kept clean and sanitized. Its complete with a kitchen equipped with dishwasher, an oven, microwave and ref and also separate dryer and washer. With every accommodating and quick and courteous response of their staff. And if you want to go out for shopping it’s 10 mins walk away. You will like Joy Nostalg once you are in.

Odette and Laurice were the greatest hosts of our speaking tour. The leaders which attended our Together We Can Change the World trainings in this lovely hotel were so customer service oriented- so much heart and I didn´t mind them calling me ´mam´. Lovely rooms, great breakfast buffet, Front desk was warm and helpful. Great location- next to mall and 12 bank machines! :)

RECENT REVIEW: APRIL 10, 2023 Rooms were not available at 3pm, the check-in time. We were not prioritized even if we had booked the rooms a month before and was still not assisted at 3pm. Room 1 was promised to be available at 2:30pm but made available at 3pm. Room 2 was only made available at 3:45pm. Front desk employees are not accommodating including the manager. The manager was already hearing about our concerns but did not initiate to help us. The front desk employee did not care about helping us after she clocked out. She did not make a proper turnover hence, no one knew that we were still waiting for our rooms. No one assisted us properly when we were inquiring about the check in time. Front desk employees seem incompetent with all their answers to our queries (sorry for the harsh term but it has to be said). Bathroom sinks are clogged. There's something wrong with the toilet flush. We needed to make few calls for these concerns that should not have been observed in the first place. Did not enjoy our stay. Don't know what happened but they are not the same as before. The quality changed... disappointing.

Oh I really love this place , the ambiance of the hotel is truly magical and very relaxing. The rooms are very comfortable and the staffs are very accommodating to all our needs . All in all I am very satisfied on the services they gave to us.

  • 5/5 Jon Renald R. 8 months ago on Google
Always excellent service from staff to the detail. Rooms in the hotel are not as modern but well-maintained and clean. Great value for money. Parking is the downside as it is limited and on a first come, first served basis. They are starting a valet service, so it should address issues of parking outside the hotel before checking in your room.

This Hotel is very dear to our family as our best vacations happened here. From the rates, services, ambiance, amenities, food and most of all, the people from this Hotel that makes you feel at home. I can say that it's humble and underrated and indeed you'll really find joy on your stay here. Major room for improvement would be parking availability, but opposite their building is a pay parking which the hotel offers 100% reimbursement. Other than this, this place is perfect!

Located ideally across ADB office. If you are in Manila for ADB work, this is possibly best place to live. The room was spacious and clean with all amenities but the damn fridge was too noisy. Couldn't sleep for 2 nights and then I had to unplug it..

Really good place to stay. Service is good. Rooms have complete amenities (hairdyer, flat iron, ironing board, toiletries, bath robes, slippers, mini vault, refrigerator, etc.) There's even a small TV in the bathroom.

This hotel is strategically located..It is walking distance from podium and mega mall..The parking entrance is located at Topaz St and has a limited parking… waited almost 30mins just to park before the check-in… We stayed at Studio executive room.. The room is clean and spacious, equip with iron facility, ref, microwave, oven, coffee maker and water filter.. The bathroom comes with small TV which is cool.. The beds and pillows are comfortable.. But what I like most of all is that pets are allowed..

Enjoyed staying here with my family. General Manager Ms. Odette and her team welcomed us and their staffs are all well mannered. Everytime when we meet them in corridor, gave us genuine smile and approached us if they can assist us anything. Has inside pool and the water temp is very nice for kid to enjoy!. I enjoyed their sauna facility. Has beautiful restaurant and roof top where you can see the sunset of Manila bay!. This hotel would be good any occassion. I would love to visit there again!

Condition of the room was run down and in need to refurbishment. The wardrobe doors were not rolling, the air cond was not cold, the rug was a tripping hazard as one of the corners was turned upwards. As an Accor plus member - no special treatment. Very disappointed overall.

We booked with Joy Nostalg as we needed bigger rooms for wedding preparations. The staff were very courteous and the front desk even offered to give us floor access to the multiple rooms we had to book for the wedding.

We went here last February to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary. We availed the one bedroom suite with the following amenities: - kitchen (with cooking and dining utensils) - bath tub (priority) - washing machine We were also able to use the swimming pool but we need to make a reservation. My kids enjoyed the swimming in the pool and bath tub. We were also given food credits worth Php 2,000/ day and can also be used at the rooftop bar. Food was delicious and they have a wide selection of choices. The kitchen was a big factor since my husband just cooked our food during our stay. The hotel was accessible to malls and restaurants which was very convenient if you need yo buy food or something. Overall, we enjoyed out stay at Joy Nostalg and we hope that we can vome back again

Availed of their love, suite love valentine's promo for 2 nights. Super worth it! Bang for buck indeed. The one bedroom suite was very spacious and has a fully equipped kitchen and washing machine. Our valentine's dinner was also a delight! Their service was great as well. All for a price of a studio room per night. A nice weekend staycation spent! Will be back again next time!

I stayed in the Joy on and off for 7 months flying in and out of Australia to Manila. I always felt accommodated and safe with the staff. I flew home (Aus) at the start of March 2020 and was due to fly back on the 15/03 which was cancelled due COVID-19. I had personal belongings in an apartment which the Joy Team have happily looked after. Antoine and his team are fantastic and make you feel extremely comfortable even in uncertain times. Great Work to Antoine and his Team and Great Hotel in Manila.

Our room was amazing, complete with essential items. The bathtub was the best compared to other hotels that I had stayed at before. The pool was also spectacular, surprisingly big hot bubbling pool and temperature controlled lap pool. Check-in and Check-out process was tiresome though. Takes a very long time for them to process the guests. The lines were always long. Hope they do something about this. I stayed in line for almost half an hour upon checking-in. Overall, good.

The actual product is much less than how 'they sell' it. The service, the food, everything is below standard. You have above standard hotel and below standard hotels and this hotel fits in very well into this category. regardless what they say on room delivery, it is always 45 minutes! pancakes are like donuts, wonton soup with only 2 wontons (more like noodle soup with pork and btw there are also wontons hidden below the noodle), pear salade with more cherry tomato and strawberry then pears, reception that do not execute the request you have made, etc. etc. etc.

The room we availed was a 3 bedroom with 3 t&b and 1 toilet with washer & dryer also with complete cooking wares & tools. It was a fun comfy vacay, we just had trouble with two of the t&b locks. It doesn't work and the other when locked difficult to unlock so not safe.

The function hall has its own espresso machine so we don't have any trouble having coffee. They serve their food on time from morning snacks to dinner. They have breakfast buffet. We occupied the One bedroom Executive Suite. The place feels like home because it has a kitchen, dining room, living room, bedroom, and bathroom. The hotel also has accessible pool and jacuzzi which is both nice and clean.

Been here twice or thrice over a span of years - all pre pandemic. This is one of our faves for its value for money - big nicely designed Victorian room, bathrooms with very nice tub and tv, ante room, kitchen, and dining area. It gives off an elegant but warm, mini-house feel. Once tried to use the washing machine in our room but couldn't figure out how. King bed felt ginormous. You'd have to walk a lot of steps to go from area to area because it's just that big, and we love it. Check in and out have almost always been problematic, both queues in line as well as in parking.

We got the 2 bedroom suite. It’s like having your own home. The place is really kept clean and sanitized. It cones complete with a kitchen equipped with dishwasher, an oven, microwave and ref and also separate dryer and washer. The one i like most is the honesty and quick and courteous response of their staff. We already checked out of our room but we decided to eat before we left and that was the time my daughter called about the camera she left behind in the room. The waiter Anton was helpful and helped me report it to the front desk. After eating we were able to retrieve the camera I will always go back to Joy Nostalg

It's my second home. Staff goes above and beyond not only in ensuring your needs are met but also proactively. It's very personalized and the service here, I can say is way better than the Shangri-la (aside from the fact that the Joy Nostalg has better bacon) The rooms and amenities are great and even greater effort, attention and care has been done by hotel management to ensure consistency of service, in every department - and not just during your stay, but in every trip and every visit i've had this year. Hats off to Laurie of marketing and Omar. Thank you for always making sure I have a place I truly consider as home every time I am in Manila. Not only do I have a place I am cared for as if I am in my own home, but to the entire 6F restaurant - for serving the best food coupled with even stellar service.

This hotel is definitely rated correctly. The staff was respectful, the rooms were immaculate, and the correspondence was awesome. My only complaint was a minor issue with being pet friendly. I was not aware that there was a fee when bringing a pet. It was not noted on their website and the confirmation email did not have the policy attached. After contacting the hotel, I was immediately compensated. If there were 6 star ratings, I would give them a 6.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, the rooms were spacious and well-appointed, and the amenities provided a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The central location made it convenient for exploring the city. Overall, a fantastic experience that I highly recommend to fellow travelers. I had an excellent experience at the bar! The bartender Alfee (not sure of his last name) provided exceptional service, mixing creative and delicious drinks with a friendly and attentive attitude. The atmosphere was lively, and the overall service exceeded my expectations. I look forward to returning soon! Thank you so much for this amazing experience!

Took a rare, special time off with family. Love the people from the Joy Nostalg team from reception to those who cleaned the room to those who kindly attended to us during breakfast to the people at the gym and the pool, and when we checked out too. Love the comfortable beds, the clean rooms, the filtered water for drinking option, the available microwave, oven, plates, utensils, etc. So easy to order food from outside too.
