Being a Pakistani, I had to give this place a try. The service was excellent, the food partly authentic and the ambiance relaxing. We ordered the mixed pakora platter which was accompanied with assorted chutneys and papadum, all of which was extremely delicious. For the main course, we had mutton nihari which tasted alright, chicken tikka and jalfrezi tasted good, and the best dish was “daal gosht” that was very authentic and reminded me of home! I’d surely come back to this place to try out other things and update my review.

I like this restaurant. The food is quite good and the staff is also very good and polite to the customer. But the vegetarian and snacks options are quite low. We went there for spicy snacks but only fritters are there on the menu. So we decided for dinner then also very few options for being vegetarian. Overall it is good. 👍👍

A very nice place to enjoy Pakistani cuisines. Upon our trip to Munich, we went couple of times to the restaurant, once for Lunch and once for dinner. Both times the service, greetings and food were excellent and same. The wait time from order to serve was 10 minutes. We highly recommend it!

I’m a little bit puzzled about what other reviewers mean by ‘cozy’. Deeba is the size of my living room (and my apartment is no bigger than 70m, for perspective) which doesn’t make it cozy but, rather, asphyxiating. The food is okay-ish, nothing special, blunt if I’m being honest and the portions are too small in comparison to other similar restaurants in Munich and a bit pricey, too. The atmosphere is pleasant -despite the super small size and the tables being very close laid out- and the people very nice. Overall nothing bad here but, also, nothing that would make me long for my next visit/ meal at Deeba.

We went there during Ramadan to break our fasts. They gave us a complimentary fruit platter and some salad to break our fast. The salad was good. We ordered their BBQ platter and paneer masala. Both of these dishes lacked the authentic Pakistan flavour. Mostly, it was bland. Maybe suitable for the European palate, but definitely not enough flavour for me. The spice level was also very low, but that's not a negative point for me. They also had Pakistani chai and mango lasso on their menu which was really good. The atmosphere is quite cosy and comfortable with a candle on the table and an 18th century-ish decor. Service was also very good. The staff is super friendly and willing to accommodate your wishes. Overall, the food lacked flavour and authenticity, and that is the first thing for me when I visit a Pakistani/Indian restaurant.

If you are fond of Pakistani food, in Munich there wouldn't be many places better than Deeba Restaurant. The variety of dishes on the menu as well as standard of cooking is very good and one tends to over eat. The service is very good too the it appeared to me as if every one serving me exactly knew what I wanted. This is a great feeling to have. It is a small restaurant with limited seating capacity and is modestly furnished. Its clean and tidy but not spacious and luxuriously furnished as one might like to see. Perhaps this is one area they can improve. and again because they cook and serve very well.

So i went there after one of my Bosnian friends recommended it to me. The Restaurant is very small. I could get the seat very easily. The staff was friendly and i could communicate with them in Urdu. Now the food part. I ordered chicken tikka and they bring my with rice lol. Who eats chicken tikka with rice ? But ok. The portion in my opinion was very small. Only 5 pieces for 15 euro are in my opinion bit expensive. The Portion of rice was not enough as well. I had to order Naan which was small also. The taste was above average but it is geared towards foreigners and not to natives. I mean the food is meant for white people lol If you want to eat authentic south-asian food, Check out yt or ask me. I would recommend it only once and i do not think i will go back there.

Service: Bad. We went there without a reservation. Somewhat hesitantly but with an annoyed look on his face, he did give us a table. After the meal, they quickly cleared the table and wanted to collect immediately, because other guests were waiting outside. Such behavior is not appropriate in the restaurant business. Food: Good but small portions. Price: High.

Humble and polite staff, great tasting warm food and above all Pakistani Chaye after lots of days during our stay in Munich. Will be back whenever I’m in Munich.

The food doesn’t have the authentic Pakistani taste. Please either get a professional cook or you can use Shan Spices. Obviously the locals don’t know the difference. Karachi native.

One of the fire Pakistan restaurants in Munich. Dishes are very similar to indian food, but there are some exception and uniques. Food was good and abundant. Service a bit rude. Unfortunately only few tables, so that reservation is absolutely necessary.

Nice food. Lamb biryani was tender and moderately spiced , just liked how we would have preferred. Yummy warm soup felt great on a cold winter day. Nice friendly staff/owners. Accommodated requests for our kiddo too :-)

Service was good, layout of restaurant great. Biriyani is fantastic and the only thing worth getting. The currys lacked flavour and the dal had a funny gone off smell to it.

The only place with actual good taste. Recommend if you want to experience the taste of Pakistani food.

I have never eaten such a pathetic food. The taste, the serving and the quality of food was the worst. Every person at the restaurant tried to talk with us and try to interfere in over gathering. 1st time I have eaten Achari ghost with Achar. The quantity of each item was as little as possible they can make it. The combating of the spieces was really unknown. No taste of spices, even I was unable to define the taste of food. In the grilled platter there was a half chicken and half beef seekh kebab, and 1 small chicken piece. There is nothing to say good about the restaurant except Mango lassi. Just for comparison: Serving dish Vs the size of the plate. Price Vs quality and quantity, it highly expensive. #Halal

Excellent Pakistani food in Munich. I was visting with family and ordered the food twice to my hotel and both the orders were on point. The chicken biryani and the chicken seekh kababs were brilliant. Chicken tikka masala was 3.5/5. Overall, good taste. The price is on the higher side but perhaps worth it

Well went there hoping for desi food but was dissppointed. Ordered saag ghosht but they put cream init. I have never had saag ghosht cooked with cream! I also asked for it to be a little chili hot. Yes it was hot but you could taste that the extra chile powder put in was not cooked properly and raw. Most of the dish was sent back.
