We stayed here for 7 nights. It was quite busy over the weekend, but we enjoyed the peace and quiet the resort has to offer during the working week. The 3br bungalow is comfortable and provides everything needed to cook yourself. HOWEVER - I was very disappointed at the amount of trash on the beach. I understand that the trash washes up from the ocean, but I still feel like the resort has a social responsibility to keep it clean. I was told that someones cleans it everyday, but this is not true. Nobody (except me and my family) cleaned it during my 7-night stay. We cleaned 1 big bag of plastic trash from the beach every day. I also feel like if the owners knew how many straws and plastic Aqua cups we collected from the beach every day, they would stop serving these in their restaurant. Like immediately. I picked up at least 50 plastic straws. A day. The resort part is clean and well kept.

I stayed at Garden Room no 5 from Friday night to Sunday Pros: - Very near to Karang Aji beach (about 5-10 minutes walking distance), very convenient if you want to learn surfing. You don't need to bring change of clothes or using paid public bathroom. This is the biggest pros for this hotel. - There are some small pondok or platform near the private beach. - The room quite spacious. - The morning and afternoon female staffs are very friendly and helpful. - You can get late check out or get charged in fair price for very late checkout above 1pm. Neutral: - There's no bathroom aminities aside from new soap bar and coarse towel. - There's no electric water kettle. You need to ask the staff for hot water, and they will bring it to you in a thermos. - The room is way too spacious, so the room air conditioner won't perform effectively. - Pricier room price for weekend Cons: - The access road is very steep, like 45 degree steep, so be careful. - There's so much ants in the bathroom and main room, they need to put some bug repellant chalk on some of the crevice. - The shower head is a quite clogged and dirty, so the water shower is thin and spreaded everywhere. - The gas for the water heater is used for two rooms, so you will fight with your neighbors when they use warm water at the same time. - The water debit is very very small in the middle of the night. The staffs said that the water torrent is empty, so I need to wait 15-20 minutes for the water pressure return to normal. - The night time main staff that's bald is rude and not helpful. When I asked for help about the water pressure and warm water at 11pm, he said "do you really need it right now or tomorrow?". Why the heck I asked you if I don't need it right now? Why do you need to speak in such annoyed intonation? This is the major sour point when I stayed at this place. This place is very recommended because of the easy access to Karang Aji beach if you can choose a room with fewer ants and avoid asking help from that rude bald staff.

Different strokes for different folks, but this place was (very) disappointing to us. We were planning to stay here for 3 nights, but checked out after 1 night. We were asked to call the sales staff in Jakarta who insisted on paying for 3 nights. This would be acceptable if you get what you pay for, but that wasn't the case. The bungalow is REALLY old and not maintained since (probably) the nineties. The beds are very basic and uncomfortable. One AC wasn't working. The local staff were friendly, though. There was 1 other bungalow rented out, so it was kind of dead here, too.

Fantastic resort with awesome staff. The sea is within 100m of any room but don’t be fooled the sand is sharp and hot and the strong under currents make swimming impossible but that’s also no secret. It’s very pet friendly and we had a great time. The room comes with staff who will buy ingredients and cook for you this was greatly appreciated. We also had a full body massage session provided by our hosts which was also very relaxing. I would highly recommend this place and look forward to many happy future visits.

It was nice to had an experienced to stay in ocean great resort in one night. Private beach, 24 hr security watch, aircon provided, BBQ machine is available, beautiful beach close at the back but need to be careful for the waves if you can’t swim never to try to swim, easy to find the hotel, friendly staffs always asking is there anything to help?!, rooms are tidy and bathroom was ok, clean. All equipment such a plates, glass, spoons, forks, knife and fan are completed so don’t worry about all equipment. Hot water and cold water are also provided. Beautiful bungalow, my bungalow was in the middle besides the pool but a bit further from the beach for 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Well done. ❤️🙏

Very nice location. Big beach, roomy bungalows with enough room, a/c, bathrooms and hot water, all basic amenities (except for toilet paper). Staff are very friendly, cooked excellent meals, grilled fish and squid on request right at our villa. Why 1-star? Because I couldn't actually stay. I had been riding with friends on a motorcycle tour since 4am, eager for a peaceful evening by the beach. There was unfortunately an event right outside my window (which we were not notified about, even after paying 50% deposit) at the villa restaurant with music and karaoke blasting so hard it shook the walls. We were offered a room a bit further away, which would have made 0 difference. Coupled with my exhaustion, I slowly descended into madness. Composing myself, the only thing left to do was ask for a refund and drive home 3 hours at 10pm in the rain. Certainly a night to remember.

We have been staying at Queens numerous times and had no issues. Food is always great, just be sure to ask for fresh all the time. We are not a demanding bunch just request beers are cold. But I must say tonight's experience was the worse and making it our last. Dangdut music from 6 to 11pm was playing so loud that it sent shockwaves through the Villa. Couldnt hear the waves we came in for, and we had to yell amongst us while talking. No warning at all from the hotel that they were holding an event. The least that could have been done was this. The staff did offer to move us to a room 50 meters further but that wouod not have made a difference. The music was too loud. Mr. Hari from reception did apologize which we appreciated and he did assist to lower the music down which only came back up a few mins later. 4 of us rode in from Jakarta and one of my mates couldn't sleep so bad he had a panic attack and left the hotel to ride home on his own. Absolutely abysmal and shameless from the management.

Room condition is kinda bad, not only the lights but also there's a problem with my doorlocks. The beaches is decent, but you had to drove thru VERY steep road to reach the villa, I'm highly wont recommend it for those who had vehicle that not in prime condition. I dont know about the services, they didn't put enough effort to maintain the villa. Problem with the light switch, some of the bulbs were dead.

Stayed here for 3 days last april with my little family. The kids were so happy to spend time a the pool. We love the private beach, the kids could freely play with the sand. It would be much better to have the sand clean from the dry grass to enjoy walking barefoot. Love the clean and comfy bungalow. The air conditioner also worked well as the weather was quiet hot outside. Nice place for spending time with family.

Great view with clean beach & swimming pool, of which a very happy place if we bring children. The room is so-so but still value for money especially if we come with a big family (large villas). It is however unfortunate that we had to pay for additional gallon of water especially since we didn't receive any bottled water. You can cook in the villas (BBQ place is also available) thus it is recommended to bring the material. As of seafood, the place is quite near with fish market so we can cook the seafood in the villa.

Our group had an incredible getaway at Ocean Queen Resort with a private beach and a stunning pool. The exclusivity of the beach allowed for uninterrupted relaxation, while the stunning pool provided endless hours of fun and laughter. The villa's accommodations made our experience truly exceptional. It was a perfect setting for creating unforgettable memories with friends. In summary, our group outing at this place was an extraordinary experience. With its private beach and incredible pool, it provided the perfect backdrop for cherished memories.

We have always been coming here for many times. Pak Deden is very helpful and resourceful in finding fresh seafood for us. The bungalow with 4 rooms are always in clean state. Kitchen is spacious with complete utensils. Fridge is cold, the porch is our place to hang out. Always enjoy our nights with private bonfire on the beach. It has been always a great experience staying at Ocean queen resort. Will always come back to this great spot!

Our short holiday will be perfect if the bushy pandan plants are cleared up or tidy up a bit, then we can easily see the beautiful ocean right from our porch.

Quiet, clean place. If you hv a family gathering or just wish to get away, come here to contemplate. No TV, no wifi, no room service, no food at restaurant. Come fully stocked so u dont hv to get out for supplies for a few days. My husband went nuts for lack of entertainment. Probably the lack of everything is becoz of the pandemy. Otherwise, great place 🤤

We love this place. Have been coming back for 6 years. But they have clean the private beach, it's becoming unbearable, unfortunately.
