Picture: Avocado taco ~ $7 6/10 for the taco I got as it was dry. Fried avocado and kale with hardly any sauce. It would've been really good if they put more of the sauce. The fried avocado was a great idea substitute for meat in a taco however I was expecting better for $7 on one taco. They also spammed a ton a kale which I mostly removed for the photo, but I guess not really a problem cause you can just take it off and eat it. I still rate 4 stars though because the people I came with got burgers and fries which were all done very well. Fries were thin and crispy with good spices. I didn't have the burger myself but it was supposedly on par with good real meat burgers which is impressive for vegan food.

The best new vegan restaurant! At least that's what a sign says inside. I'm not surprised, their food is delicious, but I'm not impressed by the sign. How many new restaurants are there in the area? Then out of those new restaurants, how many of them are vegan? I'm assuming not that many. Also what are they classifying as new? Is a restaurant still "new" after a month, 6 months, a year? What's new?!?! I need some direction here. Are new restaurants classified the same way as newborns? A baby is a newborn up until 2 months. After that they are just born. Is it the same for new restaurants? Or are new restaurants like newlyweds and no one really knows when they're not newlyweds no more. Or are new restaurants like the news. I feel like the news is not new news as soon as the next day's news comes out. I honestly don't know what to think anymore. "New" is starting to lose all its meaning to me. I wonder if I opened a newspaper stand, could I get a sign that says, "best new newspaper stand"? I'm assuming I'd be the only newspaper stand in the area...who reads newspapers anymore? Even if there was a competing newspaper stand, I'd definitely be the best "new" one. Maybe one day I'll do that, so I can finally be the best at something. Anyways, I wasn't impressed by Ziggy's "best new vegan restaurant" sign, but I was thoroughly impressed by their delicious food.

Tons of fried food and little emphasis on healthy despite the vegan offerings. The fried cauliflower in sweet spicy sauce is a must but the drenched pool of sauce soon borders on sickening, yet addictive. Brioche buns are a bit too weak for the vegan patty and toppings and becomes a soggy mess. Coconut ice cream shake is just too much to stomach during the same meal. Yum!

I’m a regular here, coming at least once a week, and they have never once messed up my order and even took my order after I accidentally showed up way too early one time. Owner is super kind/chill. The friendly atmosphere and bomb vegan food always keeps me coming back.

This place is a must for any plant based eaters in the area. We had it once about a year ago while passing through on a road trip and had it not once but twice while back in SLO for an event. The food is more on the indulgent side but still feels healthy, with salads and bowls as well. The taquitos had an amazing sauce and kale on top which were fantastic. We came back specifically to order them again. I remembered the girl working there from the year prior and she was really nice and helpful. Prices are fair for what you get and they have generous portions. While you can eat there it's very small and can only sit about 6 people total. We grabbed the food and then ate it near the beach. Highly recommended for vegans and non vegans alike!

A dear person invited me to this place two years ago. We enjoyed avocado rolls with an incredible sauce and a veggie burger, and other select options. I want to thank the owner for the creation of the menu. my daughter never heard about it, and I decided to take her. Both ordered from the remarkable selection of choices. We highly recommend. Great food experience!Thank you

Incredibly tasty!! Whatever is in that ‘Ziggy sauce’ is magic. So happy it is 100% plant based! Don’t skip soft serve for dessert!

If you’re looking for comfort vegan food on the road this is your plant-based option! Their whole menu is vegan and it’s delicious. If you’re craving a fried chicken sandwich or a heavy burger they have ya covered. They also have an amazing vegan Caesar salad. I wish the inside was a little bigger. The option to sit on the front patio is really just a shopping mall so there’s no ambiance. Its great for pick up, maybe take to the beach but not really an atmosphere to want to have lunch at.

Wow! The Korean cauliflower bites are a must! We also tried the Avalon burger with their homemade ziggy patty and it was delicious. Fantastic flavor at a great price. 10/10!

As a meat eater I gotta say I've liked the things I have tried off the menu. The avocado egg roll with chimichuri dipping sauce were my favorite until I tried the breakfast burrito. The cauliflower tacos are good. 1 taco is like a full meal.

Great vegan comfort food and fast service! I’ve been multiple times and enjoyed each visit. The burgers have the option of a Ziggy patty (an in-house bean patty which I really like) and an impossible patty (if you’re looking for something “meaty”).

The ratchet fries are a MUST TRY 🤤🤤🤩😍🤩🤩😍😍🤩😍 and the burgers and taquitos are also delicious. Ziggy’s was my comfort food while I was a student at Cal Poly. Thanks for helping me get through, guys! ❤️

One of the more "out of the box" dining options in SLO, and it never disappoints. Great burgers, love the loaded fries, and give the cauliflower bites a try, great kick to them! Good service run by good people!

Some of the best food in SLO hands down. If you are coming through town or just looking for a yummy quick meal, come here. Calling ahead is easy and the food comes quick. Favorite things to get are the dirty fries, avocado rolls, and KCK/KCB. And their vegan ranch is so good too!

Unfortunately, there's not a whole lot of quality seating, you're on the sidewalk or just inside the door and there's a lot of foot traffic. Other than that though, the food was really good. Highly recommend the crunchwrap!

I had the breakfast burrito & it was great (I'm not Vegan). My daughter had mushroom burger & she liked it as well. My wife (not Vegan) really liked her avacado tacos but it was kind spicy for her. Its mostly to go but there's a small table or 2 right outside. They do have a small area you can hang out next to the parking lot.

My lettuce wrap mushroom burger was fantastic! Yummy, juicy and super messy. Service is fast and friendly. Limited seating so consider take-out. Prices are fair, and a cash discount. I will be back!

While up in SLO I had to try Ziggy's again. My partner and I got a few different items to share. Their Cauli Bowl was delicious and we loved the carnitas fries. I got the crunch wrap and that was much nicer than anything the sonorous fast food place ever served. The service was really quick and the workers were very nice. They made sure to ask about utensils and napkins.

Everything vegan, and everything was incredibly good. The Ziggy patties are great and we still dream about the chocolate and oreo milkshakes. You have to stop here when going through SLO!

I thought this joint was perfect when I first tried it but they keep getting better over time. They keep the staples and have added a Crunchwrap, a rice bowl, milkshakes, chicken sandwich, burritos, breakfast sandwiches etc.. but yet they keep them simple! My wife gets ice cream here at least 3 times a week! Some people make comments about the irony that its vegan but not super health focused.... The real irony is that you're at a burger joint complaining about health options! We come to ziggys to get our foodie on! Burger, fries, Crunchwrap, and dessert!

I love plant based places and I will always come here, but...Is this a $9 salad? I can't fault Ziggy for the atmosphere but it's sad we don't have many spots where the outdoor seating is not a parking lot.
