Absolutely unacceptable. We ordered two orders of white quarter chicken (breast part) with white rice and extra sauce for pick up. We received dark meat. Now this isn’t the first time this occurred. Last time we received one dark and one white quarter chicken which we just let it go. Now this time around we received two dark meat quarters chicken which we specifically indicated on the phone we wanted white meat. I called to request them to exchange it to the correct order. The guy said he didn’t speak English and when they finally understood they said they can’t switch it.How is it that it’s ok for the restaurant to make a mistake and they couldn’t correct it. Unacceptable. I don’t recommend this place.

The chicken had no flavor and was undercooked. The aji was bland and very mild, if you are ecuadorian this may be acceptable but for Peruvian it is NOT.

I placed an order for take out and when I got home, I noticed the salad was placed under the chicken and fries causing it to be hot and soggy! I spent $100 on my order, I expect things to be packaged appropriately. Unacceptable

I don't know why you put the tip on the receipt!! If I want I give them the tip and if I want I don't give them anything! It is not an obligation that the client has to give you the tip that you ask for! And on top of that they take advantage of the clients with the tips they change the prices that they actually say on the menu! That is consumer abuse. Nobody should go to this restaurant where they abuse the customer. I left your restaurant disappointed and I won't be back!

Went in to find out the sink doesnt work and there is NO soap in the bathroom.....DISGUSTING!!! Thank goodness i left prior to ordering the food.

Bland food no flavor whatsoever. The table next to us was also complaining about the chicken being undercooked and the aji being very mild.

The chicken is small and has no flavor, the aji is embarrassing for a peruvian restaurant. Avoid going to the bathroom because the sink doesnt work. AVOID!!

Came to enjoy some authentic Peruvian cuisine. Left disappointed. For starters the chicha morrada is not house made, packaged and pre bottled. The food looked appetizing but when it came down to taste, it lacked freshness and flavor. In the past pre pandemic food was really good, but quality has gone down. We dined in and weren’t that wowed by the food. There are other fresher and tastier Peruvian food options in the area. Service was okay. Food lacked soul, and honestly were let down this time.

Best Peruvian food in the area!! The staff is very friendly and go above and beyond to help you out. You have to get the green sauce with your dish !!! It tastes amazing.

This place is MY GOOOOO TOOO if I’m feeling Peruvian food, always made with LOVEEE, I’ve gotten many different things but everything no matter what you choose is amazing ! I’m obsessed every time does not disappoint! As u can probably tell from the picture I couldn’t even wait to eat I had to take a few nibbles in the car it was smelling too inviting lmaooo ♥️🥹

They make really good lomo saltado and lomo de pollo just not enough meat a lot of onions and fries so it’s deceiving when you open it when serving you can see not enough meat, but the sauce and rice is really good.

Husband and daughter raved about the chicken. 2nd daughter said the Lomo saltado was great. Their cheuf rice needed some work. Rice was kinda crunchy like it didn't get cooked enough. Store was hot as hell then again I am sure NJ isn't used to 95 in the shade Temps.

The restaurant used to be really good. But for the past few years has been severely lacking. Not only are the prices insane, the food is mediocre at best. I had the causa de atun and it was so bad. I didn't think I could ever taste a bad causa but this one was it. It wasn't even the atun, it was the actual potato. I also got the arroz con pollo con huancaina and was sadly very disappointed. They skimped me so bad on the huancaina and the chicken was so dry. Pretty upset I spent $26 on such bad food.

The food was fine. If you are not with in walking distance, the parking and traffic are really bad. If you are give it a go. The food is fine, not worth the logistics costs though. Everyone I was with loved the green sauce, but it wasn't that amazing to me. And you can just order the green sauce from their website. Look for a more convenient Peruvian resturant.

Ordered a chaufa plate and an order of chicken with fries and salad and they didn’t even give me plates or utensils and also they really cheap with the sauce

Do not order arroz con pollo, the rice tastes saved and reheated from two days ago, the chicken is not well seasoned, the huancaina tastes artificial, the price of the dish is too expensive for the flavour it has, a shame... Good service tho.

Roasted chicken and fish ceviche is real good. Don't forget to try their green dressing. So good! I always try to buy a bottle when I can.
