Flavor of the food was really good. I ordered the chicken Marsala and the mushrooms were fresh and not canned. The scallop scampi my mom ordered was flavorful but the pasta was way too al dente. We tried yo get the attention of the staff but it took a while to get someone to take the plate back to the kitchen. When it came back it was cooked right but it had an additional and excessive amount of oil.

Still a solid old school spot for Italian food. Much of the staff have been there for many years. I believe years ago it may have been a BYOB, not sure, but they have a limited bar menu these days. Also E & V has an onsite parking lot.

Used to be good but gone downhill.  My wife ordered a dinner portion of Gnocchi Sorrentino for $19.95.   The picture shows the portion is half of what they used to serve .  When we called to complain that we received a lunch portion, the manager Herman told us it wasn’t his fault.   He wrote down dinner portion.   He said he has no control over what the kitchen puts out.  We tried to explain that HE was the manager.    He should have some control .   We were told never to order from there again.  CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!!

This place used to be amazing! My family And I would order e and v as a treat once a month for years. They probably got new owners , because it has really gone downhill. We occasionally find ourselves trying to give it a chance from time to time because of the history we have with this place but everytime we do it's just worse than the last. You're better off going to the grocery store and making your own meals or ordering from a local pizzeria for the price you pay .

Really not what it use to be years ago. We were regulars there so often they greeted us on first names. Last few times seemed as if we were in a different place all together..I know the restaurant industry took a bad hit with Covid and help is hard to get forget about getting any good help.. but most importantly it was the food. The portions are still big but the quality had gone down hill fast .. if u are ok with just kinda average food this place is kinda ok but if you want bang for your buck there are many places within 20-30 minutes away that are far superior

Great service, absolutely amazing food, best Italian locally, have gone several times. Only negative was that the seating was super uncomfortable. Too tight a space for that many tables. The table to the left and right of us complained as well. We had to adjust the way we sat several times, and move our table to accommodate the people next to us, and to try and make ourselves comfortable. Removing one table would be a great answer to this problem.

Home-style Italian restaurant! Herman, the owner, is a true American Dream story! Great service!

Went to E&V for a co-workers retirement. Food was amazing! The serving has lasted me three meals. Service was impeccable! I believe everyone in attendance would agree. We had an amazing time. Between Carmen and the young man who took incredible pictures for us, I’m speechless! Highly recommend E&V!!

I have been to this restaurant many times, and I have never had such a bad experience. They served us toasted bread, and we noticed that it had mold on it. We advised the server of the mold, and no one from management staff addressed this issue. We also experienced an unusually long wait for dinner to be served. The penne and vodka sauce had no flavor at all. The chicken marsala was the only bright moment of the night. It was great. But everything else was bad.

I've been coming here since I was a pre teen , around 1975. Nothing changed food is great! service is excellent. Huge menu , huge portions, good prices, I'm never disappointed. From coming here as a 12 year old kid , to bringing my dates here in my 20's and 30's to now in my sixties, you can not go wrong with E&V.

This has been a long time favorite of mine. Portions are huge, prices are more than fair and the food is always delicious! Our server was attentive and friendly and we left happy, full and with leftovers.

Walk inside, be greeted in a kind way, and served food the old fashioned way - with class. Seating less than 25 tables, this restaurant excels in menu and pricing far above the competition, offering true Italian sauces, pasta and appetizers. We have been there for lunch and dinner, never left hungry but always left more than satisfied! Order the filet mignon bruschetta, or the spinach ravioli arribeata, eggplant or chicken parmigiana...to go or to stay. Always on point. Cash Only spot!!! ATM on site.

Was in town on business and went with a coworker who highly recommended E&V. They did not disappoint. Calamari was excellent, best I've had. I had the Veal Rollatini and it was excellent. Finished with a tirramissu and it was pillowey soft and fresh. On that night there was also a Sinata era singer who was great. All in all a great experience. Would definitely go again. Wished I lived in the area and could take the wife for a romantic dinner for two.

They had 2 big groups during our visit, us being one of them. There were only 2 servers due to being short staffed. We had a bit of a wait for things but it was great. We were able to chat and digest our food and not have everything crammed all at once, appetizers, entree etc. Wait staff did a great job making sure appetizers came out at the temperature they are supposed to be and that entrees were all delivered at the same time and hot! I’ve been to restaurants with more staff that didn’t do as great as these 2 did!

Went back here for the first time in many years i was quite excited, but it wasn’t like it was in the past , but my wife’s meal was very subpar her eggplant Parmesan was not good We are not complainers the rest of the meal was decent and I sent them an email on their website twice and gotten no response.

Wonderful food and large portions. The staff is friendly and attentive. Always busy so try to go at non peak time.

My family has been coming here for over 20 years. It has recently changed management but the quality and quantity of the food has remained. It's great for families but also romantic occasions. It is very hard to order sometimes because the favorites always hit so well but there are a LOT of options that can be just as good. Be sure to order the hot appetizer platter! There's also a decent wine menu to pair with your meal.

My Mom has come here for years... Very satisfied as usual... The hot mussels and Stuffed Fillet of Sole was amazing for Take-out... Great job!!!

Haven't been there in years but was happy to see it hasn't changed. The food was still first class and the service was perfect and not overbearing!! A great meal!!

Revisited E&V after many years. Quality and flavors are still excellent!! It was nice to see that Herman the waiter was still there and giving the same great service. We will be back soon. Thanks.

I ate here today my husband order the 3 amigos and I ordered the Alfredo with the seafood. One of the WORST MEALS I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. Pasta was so hard that you couldn’t really eat it the Alfredo sauce was watery and no flavor(how can an Italian place mess up pasta or even their sauce) the seafood was way over cooked and not fresh the 3 amigos the best part was 1 shrimp and it wasn’t that fresh. I would not in my Entire life recommend this place. ($100+ down the drain) went to a business with horrible food. Oh and It took us 10 mins to even get seated. The restaurant was outdated and not busy at all we went around 4pm. The server was nice but food and atmosphere 0 stars!!!!

I'm gonna go ahead and assume that the staff are overworked here because they have SHOVED...JAMMED... tables into these tight corners. Staff can't serve without bumping into other customers, customers can't get up and go to the bathroom without needing OTHER customers who are not in their party to get up so they can squeeze out. All very unsophisticated. Was the food great? No, it was good. Just not good enough to overlook the fact that they are very obviously doing the wrong thing in this current culture. Sure, no masks and whatnot, but why set us up to be on top of each other? Me and my party could not even open our menues fully at the same time without overlapping each other or knocking over drinks. It was just very uncomfortable. The lady next to us could not get up without two people in our party getting up and standing in the small aisles, holding up busboys and servers. You wanna fit us in? Give us a reason to wanna put up with it. And stop overworking your servers, who all seem to be on the older side. Have some respect for them. Meanwhile Betty somehow managed to find a small confection for my friend's birthday, and I think we overall charmed her in some way so she's ok in my book. I hope you pay her well because she saved our evening.

Huge portions, amazing food and an overall fantastic place. The staff were awesome and the food was out of this world.

Nice quaint place. Its been around since I was a kid in Grammer school. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food. I ordered shrimp scampi.....I will say it was very oily and the pasta was to al-dente, pasta was not cooked enough....the shrimp was very good. This was a family reunion and everyone else seemed happy with what they ordered. As for myself if I ever go there again, I won't be ordering shrimp scampi.

I haven't been here in a long time. I remember going there with my first husband. We would order the same dishes each time we came. I always looked forward to the stuffed artichoke. Herman was the best server. He was so warm and welcoming. I sure do miss this restaurant. The prices sure have changed a lot.
