The negative comments about this clinic don’t make sense to me. I have been here since April 2013 and it has always worked for me. If you are a recovering addict and you are ready to change your life, that’s when this program will work for you. It is very unfortunate that right outside the door on the street there are numerous people selling their methadone and other drugs. You have to be in a good spot mentally to be able to walk into this building, receive your medicine and walk away. They do provide police protection everyday inside the clinic. I wish they would also put a policeman outside to help stop the drug dealing. The clinic opens on time and has NEVER closed early. They are very strict with making sure the doors are locked at closing time, so if you happen to be 5 minuets late, then you dont get medicated. That is not the clinics fault. If you have a job, you are able to get medicated an hour earlier than anyone else. They open at 6am for those who work, otherwise, the doors open at 7am. They stop medicating at 12 noon but the counselors are still available until 4pm on most days. Most of the counsellors that work here have been here for many years. They are polite, respectful and very helpful. Again, I don’t understand many of the negative comments regarding the counsellors and their rude behaviour. I have witnessed on many occasions clients being rude and disrespectful to the counsellors. These counsellors won’t put up with that, not for one second and they shouldn’t have to. I’m sure they’re very used to unstable beings coming in and out of this establishment on a regular basis. There are not many methadone treatment facilities. I wish there were more out there because I believe this medication works wonderfully.

Dr doesn't care about you, counselors last months at most. If you miss 3 days no matter the circumstance you will be discharged with NO detox. They will throw you to the wolves. Place sucks but the Dr is even worse.

5 stars? 4 stars? 3, maybe... 2 stars because well, they opened the door! Thank you... Stop kissing it people, for real. I've known this place for the past 10 yrs. No where near a 4/5 star rating. As long as they get funding, you're a friend. The world doesn't center around this clinic, but they think so! If you start a job, just hope you don't have to come in when they 'have to see you." You won't get served and you will be late until they see you. Don't bother explaining, they don't care. Northeast Counseling in Passaic is a little better. Get out of Paterson Counseling Services! The poster child for liquid handcuffs!

I've been there since 1/02/17 and was on back in 2003-2005.. . I don't want to mention my counselors name but.he's an excellent counselor and has helped me quite a bit.......aside from him All the other staff has been cordial and very friendly to me but I don't go in there and complain and start problems like alot of people seem to do... All in all I never would've gotten clean without this place so I have nothing but positive things to say about this clinic and methadone treatment in general

It helped me 10 years ago it’s like anything in life if you are serious and want change the clinic will help, It’s what you want . Just go get medicated and leave dont worry about who’s outside you there for you and you only HELP is the key for addicting addicts HELP HELP HELP........STAY CLEAN STAY ALIVE ONE DAY AT A TIME I NEVER NEW NO ONE THAT SAID THEY BEAT DRUGS THE DRUGS BEAT YOU.......

Absolutely horrible. The desk employees treat you like a straight up drug addict that they do not trust in their building. Even while you have stopped using drugs the treatment does not change. Not professional at all and not of a treatment facility. The employees constantly are quitting - resulting in the worst employees being promoted to high positions where they would have otherwise been fired. They open late and close early. By far, the worst medical facility for treatment you will ever find, and yes, even for the city of Paterson. If you can find a other clinic, DO NOT USE THIS ONE!

This center destroyed my spouse in 1984-85 by "providing" methadone maintainance - detox service. Drug pushers outside the door on the street sold her the balance plus of what she needed so detox never EVER took place. It did nothing. Result was her life was wrecked, our marriage wiped out and loss of a home in Wyckoff, NJ. I have zero positive thoughts on this piece of misery. Avoid. Note to Ted - ever look at the outside of 319-321 Main? Hardly looks professional, big red building with a door. Paterson itself is a major drug den and pipeline so a treatment center therein is already going against the wind. FAR better are treatment centers far from a major city, such as the White Deer Run center in Pennsylvania. True, 30 years is a long time but that was my experience and it was awful.

They wonderful ppl here I've never had a problem with any meds and they do really care,especially Flores known as magalee I love her!!!!! Iam who iam thanks to her caring!!!!
