Gandhi Sangralaya is a museum of Mahatma Gandhi's life history, his various movements, etc. This place is located within few kilometres from Patna Station, one can take Auto or taxi to reach to the place. There is no ticket or coupon required to enter this place. It has writings, sculptures, and various charka machines that were used in that era for making of khadi or cloth. The place is very peaceful and the is also a library inside the museum. If you are in Patna and want a short trip of about 45 min to 1 hr you can visit this place. The Gandhi Smarak Sangrahalaya (Gandhi Memorial Institution) is a 🖼️ mugiyam and public serviceinstitution, showcasing the life and principles of Mahatma Gandhi, and his role in Bihar during the independence struggle of India. It is one of the eleven Gandhi Sanghralayas (Gandhi Museums) in the country.Years after the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi in 1948, an appeal was made to the citizens of India nationwide to build memorials for Gandhi. With the help of contributions of poor and rich citizens of India, a trust was established with the name Mahatma Gandhi National Memorial Trust, for this cause. The Patna Sangrahalaya was established in 1967 near the North-Western corner of Gandhi Maidan. It was a member of the Central Gandhi Sangrahalaya Samiti until July 1971, when the five museums (Ahmadabad, Madurai, Bairakpore, Mumbai, Patna) were made independent. Since then, Gandhi Sangrahalaya, Patna has been an autonomous institution. The museum is located in a quiet place, and contains a Visual Biography of Bapuji containing photos, paintings, sculptures, manuscripts, and quotations; all the major events in his life are told here. There is also a section containing photographs of his childhood through the various phases of Gandhi's life, including being taken to the crematorium. A replica of his room is in the hall of the museum. The building also houses a library which has a rich collection of books, magazine, literature & audio-video material related to the life of Mahatma Gandhi, and a book 🏬 Store.

The Ghandhi museum is located near Ghandhi Maidan and has a great collection of life and deeds of Ghandhi ji.There are only seven Gandhi Museums in the country and this is one of them. We spent more than an hour in this museum, seeing his statues, a memorial with his wife, and reading many of his quotes, teachings, and tributes to his life's work as a philosopher to benefit society through cooperation and non violence. Great palace for visit.I love this place

Very calm place located in the center of city, right next to Gandhi Maidan and almost opposite Gol Ghar. This is a tourist attraction and remains open on almost all days except government holidays. It has its own parking lot so even if you are travelling there in your own vehicle, it won't be a problem. Generally school children are brought here on tours, so individual visitors are few. It has a meeting/auditorium hall towards the back and above it there's a small library. They have a small book store too where they keep a lot of literature on or said to be written by Gandhi. Somehow new publications as not so economically priced, as they used to be. The bust of Gandhi installed here was inaugurated on 10th June 1975. Since then various construction and additions were made to this place. The picture gallery we see today as a museum, was inaugurated by Shri Baliram Bhagat on 21st of March, 1976. The library was inaugurated on 2nd October 1977 by then Governor Shri Jagannath Kaushal. The famous "Teen Mahapurush" painting panel has been recently installed (30 January 2008).

Nice monument s In November 1967 Bihar Government handed over the present site of the Museum which already had a huge white statue of Gandhiji, inaugurated in June 1965. Subsequently, a new Picture Gallery containing photographs was constructed followed by a Library Hall, Conference Hall and Gandhi Sahitya Kendra. In October 1999 a 256 Sq Ft. mural, entitled ‘Hindustan Hamara’ was unveiled followed by a ‘Gandhi-Tagore Mandap’ in December 2006 and ‘Satyagraha-Shatabdi Smarak-Mandap’ in January 2007.

The " Pushkar Dham " is the pious nomenclature of the Sun Temple of Kochas. Also, the temple is renovated and a footpath bridge has been constructed joining the temple to the elevated edge of the pond. Tourists and pilgrims are always welcome here to witness the religious symbol and entity of the City.
