I've had heard a lot about nit ghat but when I visited there, it was literally crowded ๐Ÿ˜• maybe because first, it was Sunday and second, it was the time for evening aarti. This place is quite good if you want to take a large view of ganga river and experience it from a closer side. You can also experience boat rides with almost 80-100 people at a time ๐Ÿ˜‚ which is quite scary, but I saw people enjoying it. So, if you want to spend some quality time alone or with friends or family, I'll suggest you visit here either on mornings or evenings. ๐Ÿ‘

This is a wonderful place to refresh your mind and spend quality time with friends and family. The availability of a food court adds to the overall experience, offering a variety of options to satisfy your taste buds and Nearby stalls offer delicious street food, making it a gastronomic delight. The serene environment is ideal for unwinding, chatting, and sharing beautiful moments with fellow visitors. Highly recommended for a refreshing outing. Also the boat facility provides an opportunity to explore the majestic Ganga River, enhancing your visit with scenic beauty. Moreover, NIT Ghat attracts a significant crowd on Saturday evenings for the captivating 'Ganga Aarti' ceremony, making it a must-visit spot for anyone seeking spiritual solace and cultural experiences. PS: All pictures and videos were taken in June 2019.

The ghat of NIT Patna is a tranquil and enchanting spot that adds an extra layer of charm to the campus. Nestled along the picturesque banks of the majestic Ganges River, it offers a serene and peaceful atmosphere for students and visitors alike. The beauty of the ghat lies in its simplicity and natural surroundings. The glistening waters of the river, coupled with the gentle breeze, create a soothing ambience that is perfect for relaxation and contemplation. It's a popular spot for students to unwind, take leisurely walks, or simply sit by the riverbank and enjoy the breathtaking views. The ghat also serves as a hub for various recreational activities. Students often gather here to engage in friendly games, organize cultural events, or practice their artistic talents. It fosters a sense of community and togetherness among the students, making it a focal point of campus life. During festivals and special occasions, the ghat comes alive with vibrant celebrations and rituals. The festive spirit, combined with the spiritual aura of the river, creates a unique and memorable experience for everyone involved. The cleanliness and upkeep of the ghat deserve commendation. The authorities ensure.

It's a must visit if you are in Patna, I have so much of memories that everytime I am in Patna, I make it a point to not miss taking a walk here. This time I say so much of development here. This place has transformed and should definitely be appreciated for all the efforts that the government and people have been putting in making it such a peaceful and beautiful experience.

A bit crowded during weekend evenings. They do Ganga aarathi during the evening which one should take part.

I loved the environment, people relaxing, gossiping, sharing there beautiful thoughts with each other etc. Specially the food vendors are amazing, very kind and helpful. Overall I had a great time there but I'm kind of disappointed by the visitors cause they were throwing the wrappers and waste materials on the Ghat. People should maintain cleanness around them.

Pleasant place at evening to spend there. U can notice,Suddenly a big change in environment while compare to the city. Boating also there to enjoy river view. It costs 200 per person for 30 mins. Only hygiene is the problem in the Total Bihar. Worst pan masala spiting on the road sides u can see everywhere. It is quite common to the local people but people particularly from South couldn't even smell it๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿคข.............

NIT ghat can be considered as a pleasant place to have fun. One can spend good time as itโ€™s not crowded at all. The only concerning area is its view which has been spoiled because of lots of construction happening at entire ghat. Lighting needs improvement as there were dark spot. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Beautiful place to hangout during evening. The ghat is long and good for walks with your friends or family. Restaurants are also available on this ghat along with tea-sellers etc.. Boating facility is also available on this ghat. Ganga aarti now also takes place on this ghat which starts at 5 P.M. Overall a good place.

Went to Gandhi Ghat on Saturday evening. Two wheeler parking available near Shiv Temple, simple and slow cruise. Aarti on the weekends, less crowded. You can buy tickets on the counter, the traffic near the road due to metro work is hectic, plan well to reach to the destination. The ghat is clean, lots of construction ongoing , it might end up as one of the most commercialised ghat in Patna.

Basically,The place behind the nit patna campus is Nit ghat & it is situated on the bank of Ganga river & The Ganges is one of the most sacred rivers in the world, and it is considered to be a lifeline for millions of people who live along its banks. The river is also home to a rich and diverse ecosystem, with a wide variety of flora and fauna. One of the most memorable experiences I had on the Ganges was taking a boat ride during sunrise. The view was breathtaking, with the sun slowly rising over the horizon and casting a golden glow over the river. The calm and serene atmosphere was a stark contrast to the bustling city that I had left behind, and it was a truly peaceful and calming experience. The water of the Ganges is considered to be holy and is believed to have healing powers. Many people come to the river to take a dip and offer prayers to the gods. I was able to witness this firsthand, and it was a humbling experience to see the deep devotion that people have towards the river. In conclusion, the Ganges river is a truly remarkable natural wonder that is not to be missed. It offers a unique and unforgettable experience that is both awe-inspiring and humbling. I would highly recommend visiting the Ganges to anyone who has the opportunity to do so.

For the people who love to sit alone and watch the sunset and flowing water.. This is the best place.. To observe and breathe the air.. You can also go to the other side of the river.. But to sit alone and sip tea especially just after rain is the best place at #Patna

I recently visited NIT Ghat in Patna during the evening to seek some peace and enjoy the cool breeze by the Ganges River. My experience, however, was a mixed bag that varied depending on the day I visited. On the day I went, the place was bustling with a monstrous crowd of people, which completely disrupted the tranquility I was hoping to find. The atmosphere was hot, humid, and filled with noise and chaos, making it difficult to find solace. It was disappointing to have my expectations dashed by the overwhelming number of visitors, which hindered my ability to fully appreciate the location. That being said, I acknowledge that NIT Ghat has the potential to offer serenity and calmness on other days. I have heard wonderful stories of people finding solace in this place, where the peaceful flow of the Ganges River and the beautiful surroundings can create a soothing ambiance. The natural beauty of the riverbank is undeniable, and I can imagine that during quieter times, it would be an ideal spot to relax and rejuvenate. The Ganga Aarti ceremony, when performed without the overcrowding, must be a captivating experience that adds a spiritual touch to the environment. I would recommend visiting NIT Ghat with the awareness that the experience may be affected by the crowd. Choosing a less crowded day or time might enhance the chances of finding the tranquility and cool breeze you seek. Overall, while my personal experience at NIT Ghat was marred by the chaotic ambiance, I recognize the potential of this place to provide the peace and serenity I had hoped for, given the right circumstances.
