Overall the restaurant is pretty clean and not overly decorated, it's simple and clean. The waitress is very nice and friendly and apologetic for the delays although I don't know why there were delays because when we got there most people were getting ready to leave. It took a while to get the chips and salsa and our drinks, but the chips and white cheese sauce was delicious. The food was tasty and the portions not very big but it was fillling nonetheless. Said on their menu that "due to increase in beef they're adding 99 cents to each beef item on the menu." I'm not quite sure what that meant so the price was a little more than I figured. Although when we got the bill, we were charged $0.99 extra even though we didn't get any beef items. our bill was actually less than we had anticipated which was nice & We gave an appropriate tip as well when we paid the bill. Overall a nice place to eat. *** Side note- I changed my rating from 4 starts down to 2 stars because 2 days later I found that they had charged me another $6.00 which I did NOT authorize. I am NOT happy about them stealing my money and will not be returning.

I took the Pauls Valley exit on I-35 and there was a lot of choices for places to eat but I tried El Pueblo and was happy that I did. Highly recommend!!!

The place is clean and our waitress was nice. But that is the ONLY positive. The food was bland as I have ever ate. The salsa was more like tomato paste with black pepper in it. The chicken chimichanga was chuncks of plain chicken meat only. I dont think one grain of salt was used on anything. It was definitely a first/last visit for me. I'm usually a positive reviewer but this place is horrible.

Honestly really bland. Rice and beans were ok. Cheese enchilada had no flavors. Hard taco was pretty good and the tamale had a little flavor. Cheese dip tasted like it came from a jar. Some of the worst I've had. Salsa was good tho.

Been here a few times. The food is fantastic! Unfortunately, can't say that about the waitresses. Food is ALWAYS better than the service. Not sure why...Wait staff may need more training. Rudeness ruins the dining experience. I suggest getting Take Out.

The staff was nice but the food was so bland. They charge way too much for food that has no flavor. They charged me $5 for drinks and $5 for queso that's free at any other Mexican restraunt you go to. This is by far the worst Mexican food I have EVER had

Store was nothing like the one in Paul's valley OK which absolutely has no business opening doors. Much more pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. One in Paul's valley has been selling alcohol to minors and it's recently being fined by law

Not sure how they are now but they were the best Mexican food in town. We were so sad that they are closed for vacation while we are here.

Amazing service, extremely fast! Love the chicken fajitas and shredded chicken burrito. Go for the white queso, it's excellent! Very crispy chips.
