If you're looking to experience the best of Karkonosze mountains in southwestern Poland, a hike to Śnieżka is a must!! Dramatic landscapes, demanding trail, rewarding views, absolutely terrific experience, all of it guaranteed when you're scaling the highest peak of Karkonosze in Dolny Slask, Poland. Sniezka (Polish), Sněžka (Czech), Schneekoppe (German) is the highest point of the Karkonosze (Giant) Mountains and the whole Sudetes 1602 m n.p.m. The summit is the highest point in the Czech Republic, in Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in the Giant Mountains and in the entire Sudetes. At the top, they have an meteorological observatory, a post office with a view, cafe, and a souvenir shop. If you're up for something of that sort, just know that it's perfectly doable. Just be double sure about the weather in Karkonosze. #dolnośląskie #winterhikes #hikingwithfriends #gooddays #śnieżka #sniezka1603mnpm

Beautiful views. An easy hike as the slope is not too steap. If visiting from the PL side, you can take a cable cab from Karpacz to Kopa and then walk for about 15mins to get to Dom Slaski and then another 25mins (give or take depending on your pace) up to the peak. Highly recommended

Hi, i would like yo share my experien e wuth you. So lets start. You can get to Sniezka in two ways. By gondola and by your legs. Two ways are incredible beautiful. But! If you select way by your legs. It will cost you smth around 4-6 hours. If you select way by gondola. It will cost you 65 pln by one person only way to top. Tickets started from 65 pln for one person in one way. You definetly need something warm and some clothes with wind protection. Maybe even glasses to protect your eyes from wind. When you get up on gondola to top. You need to climb on Sniezka top so it will additional 2-3 hours. On way you will find some places with restaurant. Lets talk regarding how to get down the mountain. You can get down by gondola. It will cost you 65 pln or you can go down by your legs. It will be around 3-4 hours. You will find a lot of beatiful places in the forest. But, you need understand that it is not east at all... Your legs will in fire and your lap will gown down... All roads created from small stones.

The trip to Sněžka is amazing, especially if the weather is good. Beautiful views and nature all around you.

Top of the range. Very busy. Nice views. Steep half hour climb on the final stretch. Worthwhile destination for a day of hiking.

After a rocky 5km walk/climb and 5 litres sweat we arrived at the top to some great views. Coming down the other side was just as rocky. We had a cloudy, damp day, but thoroughly enjoyed it. You could always get the cable car up if you don't want the walk.

The highest hill in Czechia. Take with you a waterproof jacket and a good pair of shoes. You will need it.

A beautiful walk up and a beautiful view. The building at the top is extremely ugly though

The view was amazing you must experience once in your life. But be careful if you would like to get to here now. I couldn’t guess there are lots of snow on the way. The weather was extremly freezing with heavy wind.

Biggest Czech Republic mountain Sněžka. There are Several ways how to get there, walking or cabin. Sometimes when is stroger wing top level cabin is not working. You can go half way by cabin or to take second cabin but th e second is very often closed. You can walk only 6 km or 12 km or moře to the top. You must visit this beautiful place, the best is to walk with left way through Obri dul.

Top view of Czech republic and Poland, a perfect destination for your hike, you have to be prepared though! The cable car will take you fast and comfortable there!

Lovely view. The trek is long but worth visiting. You can choose between two routes , steep one which is shorter but physically very demanding or take the longer route around the hill. We chose shorter one to climb up and longer one to descend.

A really nice walk up to the top, some seemed to find it challenging but we thought it was ok, the big abandoned building up top is an eyesore, either remove it or turn it into something worth visiting
