Road into the beach was so bad. I had to park my bike on the main road, and walked about 200 m before I found the stairs going into the beach. Went down was ok, went up was a bit of a work. Make sure you're fit for the occasion. The beach was so beautiful. Too bad it was a bit dirty. Very quiet, it was only me and few fishermen around

Date of visit: 24th October, 2021 (Sunday) This is definitely one of my top 2 favorite beaches in Bali. It's the most secluded beach among the hidden spots we visited. Usually, in blogs, when they say it's secluded it's usually not, because when it's sunset it gets crowded with locals. During sunset, there were locals who arrived but they stayed near the entrance and more to the left side. Left side is best for swimming, middle part is great for sunbathing and right side is suitable for those people like us who loves to walk in the beach. The entrance is across Suka Espresso and you have to go around it because it's closed. The sign says Padang-Padang Beach. You can then drive and park near the stairs leading to the beach. I suggest you bring some drinks and food because the Warungs in the beach are all closed at the moment. Please carry your trash with you when you leave the beach to maintain its beauty.

I really donโ€™t understand why this beach is rated so high. First of all, donโ€™t get me started on the run down stairs, the garbage, and the monkeys on the path. Itโ€™s a very dangerous way down. If you like a beach full of rocks and algae this beach is for you. I cut my foot at this beach. On top of it, the minute you get inside, they ask for 100K IDR for the sun beds. Makes no sense, should I fry on the beach? It isnโ€™t regulated at all and I had to ask some random person if they paid as well to make sure. Also, using the bathroom in any of the places is 10K IDR. Might as well pay for the air Iโ€™m breathing in the vicinity. On top of all that, the ocean is filled with garbage, and while I was swimming, there was a huge eel next to me and I ran out as I was warned by a kind woman on the shore, as they bite! Unfortunately the locals did not take the situation well, and took the eel out violently and killed it. Even if the eel was already dying, they should have let it die in peace! Do not come to this beach there are far better ones! Go to Padang Padang Beach instead.

Find an awesome free beach with soft sand and good break. To get there, you can either drive or take a leisurely walk down a long path that leads to more stairs. Just a heads up, steep stairs are pretty common around here to reach the sand and surf.

If you are looking for a white soft sandy beach this is the not the beach for you, its really rockyโ€ฆ walking on the beach is a struggle. Big waves, not really good for swimming either. This beach is good for beginner surfers, we saw a couple surfing schools there, also you can rent boards there. Thereโ€™s also tons of beach chairs and umbrellas if you just wants to chill and you can buy drinks and snacks there as well.

Beach: Extremely dirty due to rainy season. I can see that it's a pretty beach with soft sands and clear turquoise water. I might come back later when the weather get better. Access: There's no exact pinpoint on gmap. Go to Suka Espresso Uluwatu, and you'll see a rough soil dirt path right in front of it. Follow the path until you see flight of stairs, go down then you'll get to the beach Car needs to park somewhere near the main road while motorbike can go inside right before you see stairs.

Finally found it..... after so many trials and got no clues then suddenly found it. A beautiful secret place. I love the waves, the rock and the sand. So different from any other beaches. Wonderful place to share with your loved one. Eventhough no resto available right now, but it made it quite and more romantic than ever. So lovely, I just came to early so I couldnโ€™t wait for the sunset cos itโ€™s too hot, hahaha..... Iโ€™ll come here again soon.... it must be a great sunset here...... wait for my next journey here, and Iโ€™ll send you some beautiful sunset beach photos later.

Quiet beach with lots of privacy. A few vendors and stalls with local clothing, fresh drinks and massage. Day beds are 50k each. A few stairs up and down to reach the beach but doable in less than 3/4 minutes.

Beautiful beach with umbrellas and chairs for rent, reached by hiking down some steep stairs. Low tide comes in the afternoon which exposes the corals and makes it harder to swim, so I would recommend going in late morning or around lunchtime. Wear water shoes because some corals and rocks in the shallows can be very sharp - I saw a girl who cut her foot and oh boy was she not loving life.

Recently they made a pavement of tiles for pedestrians from road to steps. Beach looks wild, just a few cafes under. Rocks and stones, lite and black sand, amazing sunsets - all what we love on Bukit ๐Ÿซถ

Denpasar, Bali's capital, boasts the most stunning beach I've encountered โ€“ a paradise of crystal-clear waters and golden sands. The beauty is simply breathtaking. The azure waves provide an irresistible invitation to surf, and catching a wave here is an experience unlike any other. However, if surfing is your main goal, the northwest beaches might be better suited. Nevertheless, this beach's natural allure, vibrant energy, and superb surf conditions make it a must-see for anyone exploring Bali's coastal treasures.

This was for me the best beach in Uluwatu. Not too crowded, nice breeze, sunbeds everywhere and everyone there does their own thing. The boats add to the atmosphere.

White sand beach with nice waves for surfing. We needed to get down some stairs to get there. But it wasnโ€™t far, only a few minutes walk from where we parked our car (behind La Baracca, Thomas Parking Spot was inaccessible). There were some small restaurants on the beach, bathroom was gross though. There were a lot of people at the beach and we went there on a Wednesday. Also, mind your belongings, there were monkeys in the area.

Nice beach with some sunbeds. There were a few surfers in the water, so it should be good to do there. You can also take lessons if you want The sand is very grainy. The waves brought some trash and wood ashore.

Super beach with soft sand. There are several sun loungers and umbrellas, but we sat at a bar in a comfy beanbag bag. I had a few swims in the sea. You can get surfing lessons at this beach. There are about 200 steps to the beach.

My favourite beach in the Uluwatu region. Could be chellenging to access (long stairs), but totally worthy! Less touristy and perfect tropical ambience. Free entry, good restos, sandy beach and nice sunset.

After hours of search this was the only beach we found that looked like a beach. Sand on the beach and the beach chairs were OK (for a 50000 IDR fee of course), but swimming is a bit complicated as the sea bed is very uneven, can drop a meter without warning. You must also be physically fit to get there and back because of 132 uneven stairs (8-20 inches high or 6 to 30 inches wide). The small track is OK for scooters if you know how handle the two wheels. In general I decided to stay at the hotel pool because I lost my interest to search further. One more thing: very annoying sales people trying hard to get your attention. They approach you every 3 minutes.

The beach is beautiful, there is no entrance/parking fee BUT this beach is not safe, today my helmet was lost, and 4 more helmets were stolen and 1 shoe was lost. If you want to enter here you better bring your helmet down to the beach. Even if your helmet is stored in the seat, the thief can pry it.

The beach is clean and it looks more beautiful when the tide is low. You can see some crabs and fishes too. Better use motorbike if you want to visit this beach. And from the top to the beach usually takes around 10 minutes

Love this beach in Uluwatu. There are some little "warung" and a restaurant where you have access to a nice snack or a quick meal. Fresh coconut is also available. I took the Kala Surf Camp boat for a fishing day and had quite a lot of fish afterwards. The captain "Rodik" was very helpful with all the fishing gear and very friendly guy. Next time we will go for spear fishing in the coastal areas.

I really donโ€™t understand why the 4 stars. If you like a beach full of rocks and algae this beach is for you. It has a lot of stairs and they charge us $100K for the sunbeads. We stayed 10 min and left

Nice beach but in they donโ€™t have public facilities like toilet or changing room. The road still in natural rock so we must be careful to go to this beach. Best for surfing because the wave is so high. Look so scary because there are a lot of empty homestay during covid-19. The ticket is free but we must be carefull of our vehicle.
