Please don't tell anyone about this place and keep it your little secret because the parking lot was limited. If you want to enjoy the sunset without busy crowds and not have to pay an exorbitant price in Uluwatu beach club, this is the place to be. The place is locally managed by the village here, and it's worth the 25K motorcycle ride by the locals down to the beach. I think this is the best beach in the southern part of the island. Lots of warm white sands, lots of low tide pools with live sea creatures (beware of sea urchins), huge waves on the horizon for the experienced surfers. Cheap beers and the sunset is to die for. Plenty of space for everyone, come at 4-5 PM in the evening and enjoy 1-2 hours exploring the place, and go home after sunset just before the sky darkens.

One of the best beaches in the south of Bali. Clear blue water, clean and sandy shore, and just perfect to spend the day chilling by the beach. I suggest you to come early in the morning to avoid the crowd. It's not as crowded but it's always a better option to be here and have the beach all to yourself. There's a small warung by beach for a quick coconut drink or beer. They seems to recently build a proper toilet and showers, but please maintain the cleanliness. They've built better access now so motorbike can go down to the beach, but if you're not a pro (especially foreigners), I suggest you to please just park your bike up there and take a quick hike down to the beach. There are some proper restaurants up there and a parking spot for cars.

This place is recommended to visit, especially if you need peace and you don't like crowded beach. Enjoy sitting on the shore without anyone passing in front of you. Access to the beach is by walking/motorcycle, you have to park your car above. The locals have service to get you down there/pick you up above if you want, 25k rupiah per person

We came here in the morning around 9am and there wasnโ€™t a single soul! Strong waves not suitable for swimming but great for chilling out and sunbathing in peace. Do note that this is on the west side of Nyang Nyang beach with a steep path that you could ride down to the beach and see the airplane sitting on top of the cliff. Whereas the famous shipwreck is on the east side of Nyang Nyang, now named Pantai Nunggulan on google maps. They are not connected. So thereโ€™s no way to walk from west to the east (vice versa). No stalls were opened. So bring your own food and drinks if need to!

It is very nice and not so crowded beach. The entry road is very steep, so I recommend either wearing proper shoes or take/hire a motorbike to take you down. It is very different beach because there is maybe 50 m of very shallow area with rocks and then there is very wild sea full of waves. You can bath in small pools of water, but don't count so much with swimming. Also there is no reception on the beach. Again there is a local group of people that does not allow Gojek or Grab to come and take you from the place.

Stunning views and you can reach almost to the beach by scooter(warning that the road is very steep). One of the best beaches of Bali, big waves and not so many tourists. There are also people selling stuff on the beach and bonus: you can also see the abandoned airplane, near the parking area.

Very quiet beach accessible by a long paved road all the way down to the beach which is walkable 5-7 mins. Call a scooter up 25k as it is quite steep. There is only 2 stalls selling drinks and food. It is a place to get a view of the deserted plane which is now renovated to be a hotel. Not much is happening.

The road down is steep but concrete so easy to get down. I recommend going down and left to the end of the beach to escape the โ€˜grammersโ€™. Much emptier. Swimming is not great but there are nice pools to swim in. There is the classic โ€˜donationโ€™ at the top but 5k is not a lot to avoid the hassle.

Beautiful beach! It has very long shoreline. If you bring car, you have to park your car in the parking lot and walk around 500m down to reach the beach. No stairs, just descending path. If you bring motorcycle, you can drive down the path to the beach, but be careful. The path is steep.

The access to the beach is easier now. Needs to go down a steep road. Motorbike can just go down the road and park at the parking area in front of the beach. Clean beach, clear water, great place to watch the sunset.

One of the best beach in Bali. Beach has white sand and when the tide is middle, itโ€™s super nice to swim and hang out with friends. The scenery reminds me of Hawaii and you can feel the great nature there. Iโ€™m sure this is one of the most beautiful beach in Bali and bedded gem in Bukit area.

One of the calm beaches in Uluwatu to relax in the lagoons/puddles at the beach side. Loved walking towards the rocky area where its much calmer and less crowded to have a quiet time for yourself. We paid 10k as entry fee. To reach this place is bit of a pain, the road is too steep if your scooty doesnt have proper brakes. So going down on a scooter is still easy, but to come up you either need a powerful scooter or a single person only can come up if its a 100cc scooter. If youre planning to walk till the beach, get ready to get tired.

Beach where we can watch the big waves while shopping coconuts but nothing for swimming as water seem too dirty with green algae at the coast. Saw many people walking dogs there and dogs took dips in beach. Bike can go upto each but very steep turn so only experts go , saw two fallen bikers there.

Amazing beach! Definitely my favourite in Uluwatu, it is kept very clean and the staff at the bar are very friendly and helpful, and also do their part to keep the beaxh clean (went to many other beaches that had plastic waste/coconuts etc everywhere).. You can get down to the beach front via a very steep road on scooters for 5k entrance! And it is 5k to use the showers/toilet. If you're in Uluwatu you should 100% visit

Not good beach. It's not crowded but the sand is very rough and not apt for swimming also. At entry, fees is charged in the name of donation. Path to reach beach is very very steep and not worth going. Aeroplane / plane is closed and they are making rooms there. It will be open in December.

A very clean and nice beach. Much more quiet than others. Few shacks around. Preferably go in the afternoon and evenings. The slope to the beach is very steep but accessible to motorcycles and there is a parking space.

We went to this beach to see the abandoned airplane, unfortunately they made it a tourist attraction so you have to pay to visit it. So thatโ€™s sad. The beach is nice and quiet! Be aware you need a strong scooter to get up because you go downhill. Also wear water shoes because there are a lot of (slippery) rocks

Beautiful beach to visit. You can access it by foot and by motorcycle too but be aware that the way down is quite steep so be careful going down with a motorcycle. As soon you arrive there is plenty of spaces to park. You have an option also to use the local taxi service (motorcycle). If the tide is low you will have the option to walk the nearby rock formations (at the right of the beach) where you will be able to find good sunset locations for photography

One of the best beaches in Uluwatu. You'll be asked for a donation before you drive down, anything is welcomed. You can drive your bike all the way down the hill instead of walking. The beach itself is well kept. There are limited sunbeds perched above the beach as the waves are crazy, as well as some on the roof of the resto, but you don't need to pay. Around morning and midday the sea comes right up but past 2pm the waves receed back so you can enjoy more of the beach.

Amazing natural beach far from the crowd ! In the afternoon the ocean gives place to some natural pools. Access is 10mn walk from the parking area or you can go down with your scooter (no cars) or ask local drivers to get you down and back up if needed.

Wonderfully clean beach small beach. This place doesn't appear to get too busy as there is plenty of space to spread out. There are some thing to consider however, the access road to the beach is extremely steep. It is walkable, but it's hard work walking back up to the exit (I don't care how fit you think you are). Mopeds are permitted but it still takes some experience to travel down there. There is a shuttle service (apparently) by moped for a small fee. Within close vicinity of this beach there are two places to eat and drink not too far from the beach, plus a clean toilet block (with donation).

Long stretch of sandy beach, but mostly for surfers. There is no shadow, no umbrellas and not very convenient for swimming. It is free though, but prepare for a 10 minutes of steep descent and ascent on the paved road (nothing grave if you are not fat and lazy).

Great beach where you will find all sorts of sea life in tidal pools as well as hidden beach areas only accessible by walking through the ocean ๐ŸŒŠ just be careful when the tides shift as the high waves can be dangerous crossing back to the main beach. By the way dont forget the way down is EXTREMELY steep and a long walk down not to mention back up. You can pay a motorcycle to bike you back up.

Pantai Nyang Nyang is my favourite beach in the whole wide world โค๏ธ never crowded, always beautiful. Highly recommend. Donโ€™t go if ur not confident driving a scooter down a steep cliff face.

Nyang Nyang Beach is a very quiet beach accessible by a long paved road (quite steep) all the way down to the beach which is walkable 5-7 mins. Nyang Nyang Beach is one of the cleanest and most beautiful beaches in Bali. The soft white sand and crystal clear turquoise water which are flanked by lush green cliffs give this beach a very natural feel. We recommend visiting early morning before it gets too hot in the midday sun and you can enjoy a few hours down on the beach to yourself with no one else in sight.

Such a great beach to relax and escape since there are almost no tourists. That being said if youโ€™re not going there by bike there is quite a steep road down to the beach (you can pay 25k for them to get you from the parking lot to the beach by bike)
