Wonderfull place to hangout friends. This waterfall is one kilometer away from the main road. If you are coming by car you have stop near the road and walk. bike can be rode. It's not much suitable for family and couples. Better to hangout with friends. We can bath in the waterfall but the rocks are slippery so aware of it. This place is not crowded. If you visiting peechi dam you can visit here and take a bath for refreshment.

Orappan kett waterfalls is one of the less known gem in Thrissur district. A very big area of waterfalls. There are 3-4 waterfalls present there. Very beautiful place to chill out with friends and family. Very calm and peaceful place. Forest area and so there is privacy to. Nowadays the flow of water is good and so need to be very careful. A lot of space to swim to. It is located on the peechi dam road and then turn to pocket road to reach there. You have to walk around 300mts off-road to reach the waterfalls. A must visit one. Entry is free and is always open. Visit now....it is worth visiting.

nice tourist spot near KFRI Peechi. route - on the way to Peechi dam, there is bus stop on the right, opposite to that you can see a board showing direction for orappan Kettu (👈 left). We can go there with our family. There is a mini trekking, you need to walk around 1 km. Not a risky place to walk.

Such a beautiful place to hangout with friends family or partner. Good ambience. But we didn't get a good experience in using google map to go there, the way shown was not correct. Its better to set 'Kannara, peechi road' as destination in map, go there and ask some residents the way to orappan kettu waterfalls.

The trip to Orappan Kettu Water Falls was spectacular. I went there with my friends. All of us work at the Institute very close to Orappan Kettu Water Falls. It takes about 15 minutes to walk. Although it is a nearby waterfall, we only go there occasionally. As the monsoon is not strong, water is scarce. The trip was awesome and I was scared to climb over the rocks. But my friends were very encouraging and helped me get through it. Suuper Happy.........😃😃😃 Visiting time: 8am to 5pm NB: 1. Be careful as the rocks are slippery. 2. Don't through plastic or other garbage.

It was a day well spend. From Peechi road you have to go a little more inward through a short cut road to reach the destination. It is a good place to come with children and family. People who are fond of playing in water, this is a good place for you guys.

It's a small nature trail of 20mins to reach the waterfall/natural hot tub. Yes the two sides of the place offer both :) must visit but take care to not spoil the sanctity of the place. It's extremely beautiful and undisturbed due to low footfall. Do not treat it like other public properties.

A beautiful attraction near Peechi Dam. From Peechi it is easy to access from Vilangannur Bus stop to Orappankettu. not needed to go through the way as shown in google Map. Vilangannur Bus stop to this spot is easiest way.

Absolutely tremendous place, unknown for most people. You could have whole day with fun. Carefully handle, it is some times dangerous too. With friends and family is better. For couple it is not good place. Most of time there will be no people comes.

This place is awesome. Not easily accessible from the main road. Because of this reason place was tidy and serene. Waterfalls is simple. Rocks are slippery. Make sure u have firm foot. U have to park ur vehicles far from the spot.

A very nice place to visit if there is water. Surrounded by greenery. But sadly there was very little water when we went. But therefore we could see the large holes that was in between rocks, so beware when you get into the water for swimming once there is water, don't get fooled by the height you see from above and place your each step carefully.

Orappan Kettu Waterfalls is a small waterfall at Pattikadu Villanganur road ( 1 km from the Hill highway road) Peechi dam road. Bikes and cars can be taken near the spot. Natural spot for enjoying natural waterfall and small catchment area for taking bathing. Not recommended for children as the route is narrow and steep. The rocks are slippery so take care while reaching the spot.

Waterfalls is a very calm and quiet place.....locals are so friendly..... not at all crowded at any point of time....pleasant atmosphere cool breeze good ambiance ....only problem is if you are by car there is no proper parking space and have to walk a great distance....always preferable to come here by two wheelers so walking distance will be decreased and parking area will not be such an issue...anyway loved the place. We can see small groups of youngsters here enjoying beautiful weekends here without causing any trouble to others. Its a good weekend spot with less crowd good ambiance waterfall calm atmosphere and cooool breeze Timmings early moring to 8 or 9
