Loved staying at this Ibis hotel. Perfect if you’re looking to focus to work on a project or to study. Hotel is brand new, spotless clean, spacious, comfy bed and pillows, nice facilities (gym, restaurants), and I like the interior design and furniture. Great water pressure, and I loved that they provide water cooler on each floor. View is amazing!! Staff are also very friendly - from front office to the restaurant. The hotel is located in the middle of a ghost town though. The nearest mall is 10 km away. Even taxi drivers can get nervous driving into the neighborhood at night.

To be honest not as good as the usual Accor experience but for the price paid with sheltered private parking overall superb value. Location is a real head-scratcher. It's not near anything at all. At night you have to drive 5 mins to get anything. Bed sheets were worn and had a hole in them but in general everything is up to the usual ibis standards. Would definitely consider staying again as there aren't many decent hotels in the area.

This hotel, which is literally in the middle of nowhere is ironically a haven. The friendly staff, basement parking and fully sustainable effort make it lovely. No need to look for 5 star when you can have what you need here. Just a few tips, the mirror reflects whatever someone is doing in the bathroom area so it's not really conducive for privacy. Just make sure you are aware of where not to look when someone is going in for a shower. Other than that the designs, colours and good amounts of plugs and USB points make it excellent if you need a quiet place for work or study.

We stayed for 3 nights with our 4 children in 2 rooms. We chose this hotel for its proximity to Legoland. We were blown away by thie hotel. its 5 stars. Reception staff were lovely, the rooms were spotless and spacious and the breakfast- WOW. 11/10. This is one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had on our 4 week trip throughout South East Asia. Fresh croissants and danishes were baked every morning and they were delicious. Coffee was fantastic and I really love the effort this team goes to reduce food waste in their venue.. I noticed that criossants that were left were used to make break and butter pudding or drizzled with chocolate for a lunch snack- an absoltely credit to the chef and their team. I also noticed no single use plastics at the buffet..Jams were in big jars and butter in individual sized portions were availabel with no wrapping and this is so great. We met Warren the manager and he went out of his way to make sure we were enjoying our stay....gifting us some croissants for the trip home and even ensuring our taxi driver knew which checkpoint we needed to go to. If we find outselves in Johor Bharu again we would not hesitate to stay at the Ibis Styles and we'll be recommending to our friends! Well done to a great team. 11/10

    1) Location is not good as situated at industrial area. If you do not have your own transport will be very difficult to travel around. Even with own transport you also need to drive a long distance to town. 2) Surrounding got few convenient shops, which still allowed you to buy some needed items. 3) Stayed here for 3 days 2 nights. Day 2 morning started do not have hot water to use even the third day morning also same. Staff offered another room for me to use on the third day morning but it is quite inconvenient. Some more, I will be checking out on the third day afternoon. 4) All amenities are good and still new.

Great hotel considering the nightly rates. In-room equipment and facilities have been well maintained. Staff at front desk could use with more training to respond to simple questions, as they seem to require to call over a senior staff when encountering some difficult questions. Front desk area could use with some pest control as fruit flies and flies could be seen flying around. Location-wise not the most ideal but one is generally able to get a Grab relatively easily (avg 4-6 min wait time). All in all would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Hotel is fantastic. Nice room. Cheerful deco. No water bottle... in a way it is good.... need to get drinking water from the corridor. Room layout makes it feel big. TV with many Singapore channels...... luckily these programs saved me..... the bad point..... nothing interesting around the hotel.....I think they will develope soon. Not encouraged to walk around the hotel later in the evening and night. Breakfast was just normal.

The place is new, clean and quiet. Ample of parking but location is quite far from JB town. I choose this hotel because of the quiet environment. Jb town hotels, either is getting packed with cars and parking spots are terrible or noisy with cars and in house entertainment lounge that blast music till the wee hours !!

Fine hotel if you’re in the area but nothing much around. Staff are friendly, breakfast is decent. Rooms feel a bit like a university dorm but spacious and clean. Restaurant menu is limited but food is okay

It's very far away from civilization . If you come to visit legoland , the outlet here is good, but if you come to travel, it's not recommended. Before entering the city for a very long time, less staff, less breakfast The hotel service is not good, not suitable for being in the accor chain.

First time here, value for money accommodation. Had the family room which can comfortably host four (4) people. 2 bunk beds and 1 king bed. Comfortable and spacious enough. Parking is free for guests. However there are not much choices for shops in the vicinity - have to drive out

The rooms were amazing as they are displayed in the photos, exceeded my expectations since i thought it'd be clickbait. Not to mention, the toilets are clean. Very satisfied with that matter. While the location was a bit...eh, it was a ghost town and there was nothing else there.

Booked this hotel as I’m an Accor member, nearest to Legoland driving distance about 15mins. Very clean hotel and staffs are very friendly. No swimming pool. Breakfast is provided. Decent meal. Love the basement parking.

The room has the amenities that you need. A hair dryer is available. The toilet and shower is separated. The bed is comfy. It will be a good overnight stay if you wish to get a good rest before continuing journey on the road. You will definitely need a car to travel.

First time here and I must say Accor group did not disappoint! Other than the location of the hotel which was quite ulu and nothing much around - the hotel itself you can definitely enjoy!! Breakfast was cheap and good 👍🏻 range and the bakery croissant was so fresh and good! Well done!! Bed was ok they gave bolster which is so rare! Toilet shower was super warm and powerful! Cleanliness is there!!! Just that the basement parking no gantry and all but I guess I saw the security somewhere

Wifi is fast and good connection. Location is a bit off but nearby most of the places you will need to go without jam. Park at basement, at night a lot of foreigner lingering outside. Room is nice and cozy and modern, I got the family room with a bunk bed. Aircond and shower was good. Sadly, the area with the bunk bed has a strong vomit smell. It was unbearable. I can smell it from the main room. The smell have seeped into the mattress and carpet. This really put my off. Aircond vents were covered with dirt. To top it off, my main bed's bedsheets is stained in yellow although it is not a bit patch. It should be spotted easily as I can see it point blank. Overall price was good and hope you can improve in these areas.

Took forever to check in and we came in way after the 3pm. You would think they would prepare the rooms by now. We were given 3 separate rooms on separate floors even tho’ we called ahead to check if we can have them in connecting rooms weeks ahead. Very disappointing. They didn’t check that the rooms were prepaid using Accor plus points and having pointed out to them just confuses them and delayed the rooms. Nightmare with children in tow.. we couldn’t get to the different floors with the different keys. Never attempt family trips here. The place also looks deserted in some failed industrial project with no decent shops or cafes around except the hotel. But the buffet breakfast was really value for money and it’s not far from a few estates with good food and massages.

I must say security is one of the best in Malaysia . I had a car malfunction and the security was very careful to ensure that the car towing company is legitimate company I engaged . Manager Haniff was very helpful in allowing late check out knowing that my car has issue . I applause the hotel staff for helping me out throughout the ordeal . Will definitely come back . Thank u Ibis !

Room was great, as it is still under Accor hotels so the standard is there. Very clean, bed super comfy. You get a pillow and a bolster each. Sheets and towels provided were clean, no stains. Toilet was decent but a bit of sewage smell sometimes. Dental kits, combs, vanity kit, shower caps provided. Ironing board and iron provided in the room. Only downside is the light at the washbasin stays on at night, or somehow could not find the switch to turn it off haha, so there's a bit of light when you want to sleep. There's a gym but did not go and see. No pool. There's a mini bar/restaurant at the lobby. They serve breakfast early, 6-10.30am and the next lunch service was at 12pm. So you can't sleep in if you want to have the breakfast there. There is only 1 Malay shop nearby the hotel. Otherwise don't really have food options. Also no supermarket or convenience stores nearby, just a mini mart (but not 24hrs), as the hotel is in a quiet industrial place. Really nothing much going on. Booked this place because I wanted to watch the JDT game at the stadium. However, it's actually not very straightforward to get there and not a lot of grab drivers will want to pick you on match day. Go early (like 4-5pm) if you can, to avoid the traffic. Coming back from the stadium is also an issue because again, no driver wants to come to the stadium due to the inevitable jam. Either have your own transport, or you may need to walk out further to try to get a grab.

Checked in at around midnight with an online booking. Staff faced some technical issues at the front desk which delayed our check-in for about 20 minutes, had to later escort us to our room as the issue could not be resolved. For the price point, rooms were decent and relatively new. However, the toilet area was not cleaned well which left strong stench of urine lingering around. Breakfast was pretty good, they had freshly baked croissants which were both crispy and fluffy. The hotel is very way out, and there are no convenience stores within walking distance. Despite this, there are vending machines located within the hotel, and booking a Grab was still possible (with a slightly longer wait time).
