The playground is great. It has a preschool area and an older child area. It is fenced in. There is no shade so middle of the day in hot weather it isn't the best option. But overall it is a nice playground.

The new walking path has made the park a favorite destination. The beauty of the park is spoiled by the dog poop all over the place. The city has put numerous dog poop bag stations and trash cans around the park, but some people ignore them and don't clean up after their dogs.

It is a Great place , I am a Resident from the City of Pelham since 2007 and I Iove this place, I visit it pretty much every day , unfortunately there are always irresponsible people who walk with their dogs without a leash ( specifically at night and outside of the dog park , on the trails where most people walk ) , the phone number placed on the park to report it never works , I do not care if the dogs are harmless ; however their owners should follow the rules ; Despite that ; It is a great place to enjoy , I can not wait for the phase II of the Pelham's Greenway Trail .

Paws in the park, this Sunday April 2nd. Come and check it out, Ultimutt Dogventures and nutrition. This event is amazing. Thanks Pelham Park

Decent sized park, came out to see the National Night Out and it was fun. Pelham police patrol the area a lot so it is always a safe area to be at.

We often visit this park to walk our dog, spend time with family, or watch ball games with friends. The park is clean, convenient, and they add anywhere all the time that make it better and better.

I want truly thank Mr. Brain Cooper . He was so kind hearted and very understanding. Let us keep our car there where it broke down with a single threat to tow or keep asking when we are going to move it. He kept check on us along with pelham police which also very kind . I have never said that before about police . The only down fall is park closed at 10 and we couldn't be there but very understandable. I will never forget you Brain for your kindness. Oh I sold my car. It wasn't towed . I was never was asked, told , or threatened to move my car I was actually told to just stay safe and it be ok . So yes I will return to this park to enjoy the weather but I wasn't forced to leave by all means. Thank you!

Pelham city park has nice ball fields but the layout of the park is bad the parking lot on each side of the four ball fields is a long walk for older people to the entrance gate and the batting cages are on the far end away from two of the ball fields. The concession stand was nice and the bathrooms were nice with air conditioning. But this park has absolutely not one bit of shade for the families of the baseball players.

First time I have gone to Pelham park to walk on new trail. Easy walk. Very pleasant surroundings. There was a dog park, basketball goals( with nets on rims), volleyball courts, and several covered areas to be protected from heat or rain. Loved it! Proud of Pelham for spending money on recreation facilities. They have done a WONDERFUL job! I hope to see all of you out there. Can't wait for Pelham to add some more walking trail. Thank you, Pelham!

Love going out here with the kids or even alone to walk. Playground, basketball court and baseball field offers plenty of options to hang out as a family. Walking trail is great. Multiple pokemon Go stops and Gym as well (kids love this part).

My dog likes it. There is shade that he can hug if we are not early enough. I was disappointed the water fountain was not working. I have a big dog who requires a lot of water and I can only carry so much with me as he is not always easy to control. The area is well kept and I have met some lovely people to talk with.

Very pleasant park to take your kids to enjoy their play as you relax also. Most parents whom I've encountered is friendly warm hearted individuals. There are all sorts of activities that can be done at this park for both adult and child. The Rec center is located across the street from the park which has it's amenities inside for both adult and child. The staff has a welcoming vibe once you enter the facility. They host different events on Sundays where you and the family can come to unwind and meet and greet other families. Haven't had any ugly experience here besides saying come visit the park. 😎
