Underrated tucked away spot to visit after parking anywhere downtown and crossing the bridge in the winter. You can see multiple eagles flying around, perching above the river and calling out.

Site 10 is the best! We travel full time in our RV and this little park is in our top ten favorites! Loved the park, site & town! Only 4 stars because the bathrooms tend to be rough. Cleaned by nice teenage boys, so that may be part of the problem? Everyone we met in this town is super nice!

I give this 5 stars for the beautiful view but 0 for the city administration of it and bathrooms. Also, half the sites are just in a sand lot with no view. 5- Smaller park on a river with a suspension bridge that takes you downtown. There were about 50 geese around but they did not cause trouble. 0- The bathroom sinks were never cleaned the 10 days we were there. The floors were cleaned by hosing them off, and I think they hosed the toilets, too! The city does not appear to have a standard policy. i.e. You are expected to call the city for a reservation and pay ahead, yet they told some campers that they did not take reservations. They do not put reservation signs out until the day of so you don't know how long you can stay. We arrived in the middle of the night and discovered they put our reservation on someone else's site even after they had me tell them what kind of trailer we had and how many slides. When I called to complain, the lady got angry with me and had to give the phone to someone else because I was so disturbing. They claim they are working on getting better but will not listen to any suggestions. Finally, many people walk through so keep your belongings safe. There were three robberies when I was there.

A newcomer might look at the small park located on the Pelican River in Pelican Rapids, Mn. and remain a bit underwhelmed. To me, I remember all the adventures I experienced on that river, the fun in the swimming hole, and nature walks while looking for new fishing spots. There still remains a beauty of nature and quiet reflection in this park.

We love staying at Sherin Park! The bathhouse is not the greatest, but we use our own bathroom in our RV. The park is beautiful, well maintained and centrally located to walk to local restaurants and the VFW for a cold beverage. Spots 9 and 10 are the best in the park. Lots of mature trees and right on the river!

We called ahead the day of arrival and booked site 10 based on other reviews. Excellent site. Too windy for a fire, but a nice site on the river. The park was quiet, two longer-term people up top, and a tenter arrived after dark, but mostly quiet. site 7 looked impossible to level, fyi. Showers looked pretty awful, and bathrooms overall not very clean. Otherwise, great spot.

It was a beautiful campground right in town. It was full by the time we arrived.

$20 a night it has a shower house and electric at the sites. There is no water or sewer hook ups. But the shade trees and the quite makes up for that. It does not have wifi but I just use my hotspot off my phone. The lake is right outside my door. It is cooler here then anywhere I have stayed. The sites are a little odd because some are back in some are just pull up. I am happy we found this little gem. I will be here anytime I travel into the area again.

By far the worst shelter I have ever imagined . . . and its been that way for YEARS! I dont know who is on the city council but somebody needs to strongly recommend a new toilet! OMG. Not only that but the door slams loud enough to wake the priest across the river. With that said, it was a wonderful nights sleep in the park. Very quiet--except whenever someone entered or left the john. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
