I visited this place based on what I discovered through Google maps. I wasn't sure what to expect going in, as some have described the massage as being "painful" while others have described the massage not being painful at all. This place is located inside the Westeern Hotel, a 3 star hotel. (and no I didn't misspell "Western"). Massages are done by 2 visually impaired male masseurs. Temperature check was done followed by a foot soak before the full body massage. Masseur applied a drop of mint oil on the head but other than that it was a dry, deep tissue massage. You will really feel the affects of the massage after 30 to 40 mins. As one of the previous reviewers have aptly said "it's not the massage you want, but the massage you need". Prices as of 05/04/2021 is as follows; Rs 2500 for Full-body Massage 1 hour Rs 1500 for Foot 30 mins Rs 1500 for Head, Neck and Shoulder for 30 mins I could not more highly recommend this place.

Went here for the first time today and was thoroughly impressed by the professionalism and overall results of the 2 hour massage. Roshan was meticulous in getting rid of all my knots and gave a lot of tips for post care. The massage was well worth the price and I'll definitely be a frequent customer. At the point of my treatment, the prices were as follows: 30 minutes - LKR 2000 1 hour - LKR 3000 1.5 hours - LKR 4500 2 hours - LKR 5500 Note that the place might seem a bit dodgy from the outside and the business interior could do a bit of uplifting. But I assure you that regardless of the visuals, if you have any type of muscle pain, you should definitely pay the place a visit. The treatment is conducted by two male masseuses who are visually impaired. They go above and beyond to cater the treatment to your specific pain points. The massage might be painful to some depending on how tense your muscles are but you'll definitely feel far more relaxed and pain free after. PS. You need to make an appointment before you visit.

Just had an amazing full body massage, which I would recommend for everyone feeling pain or tension in the body. Since my muscles were quite stiff, he asked me to extend the time, what was absolutely worth it. The masseur has low vision, but therefore knows even better how to work on each and every part of the body. He gives you tips and hints for your health and is just very sensitive and nice.

That was one of the best massage I've ever had in my life! The guy has wonder and healing hands. Okay, this massage is nothing for Sissies, because it's a very deep going massage. Very good experience and price value! I will come back.

I received an excellent 2 hour massage from Roshan today. It was so incredible and comfortable. His English is great so no problem with communicating. He would do shiatsu on an area after doing deep tissue massage. I feel like usually when a masseuse does this, they are just going through the motions and it’s too light to do anything. When Roshan did it though, my body felt the vibration. He would do light strokes after that which were perfect. I feel refreshed and joyful after :)

I was pleasantly surprised with the experience. I go for reqular massage in Canada and this experience was totally different than I used to. The therapist Kasun worked on me for 2.5 hours for full body massage. Every part of the muscles touched and cleared all the stiffness and knots.. I strongly recommend for anyone looking for theraputic massage. This is not in 5 star hotel, set the expectation about the room, location and cleanliness. Thanks

Amazing experience. They do an intense deep tissue massage, a bit painful during the massage but you feel really relaxed after. Great for back pain and any other ailments! Amazing masseuses! Highly recommend it!

Best Massage for stiff Muscle. Its a little bit simular to a Thai Massage. The Blind Men feel every Muscle and treat them well. Its not a wellness Soft relax Massage and also has nothing to do with Thai Girls. Its very good massage if you have Shoulder or Back problems. He feels every stiff muscle. The shop is small and difficult to found. The Room is clean but could use a little Paint. But the massage is the best for me. Next Time i am comming surely again.

I’ve had a deep tissue massage by Kassur and it’s was an experience. One of the best massages I’ve ever had in my life. Aside his A1 competences as a therapist Kassur really is a kind a nice person. I really enjoyed the full two hours (even though a massage like this ain’t too much of a “relax treatment”). Best wishes to the both of you!

I came there couple of times. Kasun and Roshan both are well experienced therapists. Professional and helping to release the muscle knots. I feel much better after that and enjoy the good pain. Will be visiting regularly. Highly recommended

I recently visited Healing Hands for a massage and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The Therapist(Roshan ) were friendly and professional, and the massage itself was top-notch.

My partner and I were blessed to experience this unique therapeutic massage when passing through Colombo on our travels. We dropped in spontaneously (generally not a good idea, book in advance) but we were lucky to find the manager present as well, so there were enough pairs of hands for two simultaneous massages. Both masseuses were outstanding. The manager kindly answered our questions. If I understood correctly, the technique is based on Anma, traditional Japanese massage, adapted and taught to visually impaired masseuses in Sri Lanka by a blind master from Korea. Apart from the fascinating story, we benefited from two hours of incredible bodywork. Result: tangible deep muscle relaxation (incomparable to oil massages) and increased awareness of tensions within your body, helping you to work on these on your own. The name of the place, Healing Palms, could not be more accurate. Thank you!

I and my husband had foot massage today by appointment. The two gentlemen who are visually impared did an excellent job. They would check regularly if the intensity was ok. I will definitely recommend this place. Will come again when I am in town. Roshan and kasul were so professional.

We had a great 90 min full body massage. One of the best massages we ever had. The two blind guys really know what they are doing and how to relieve your body from stress and pain. The price is absolutely fair, this is not a fancy SPA, but a place where you get a really really good massage.

I am Australian, have travelled the world and experienced many different styles of massage, but this is by far the best and most effective massage experience ever. Both therapists are sight impaired and have been trained in the art of ANMA massage therapy and incorporate other techniques such as shiatsu. Roshan is an absolute professional and a master of his craft. He understands the body and is very intuitive. I had bad back pain and due to extensive travel this was exacerbated. I came to see Roshan and instantly had some relief. A few sessions later and following his advice on aftercare I am feeling amazing. I am now seeing him a couple times a week after long stretches of walking, hiking and traveling and I have no lingering pain. My only regret is that when I return back to Australia in a couple of months I will not find another therapist like him and I will be devastated lol. Roshan is polite, caring and gifted. The spa is utilitarian, so is not aesthetically pleasing, but is clean and neat. This is not a spa where it’s all about the ambiance, this place is all about the massage and the technique. The prices are outstandingly good (they should put them up) so please tip generously! I can’t rate highly enough. 🤩
