I
recently
had
an
experience
at
YouFit
Gym
that
left
me
deeply
dissatisfied
and
frustrated.
The
unprofessional
conduct
I
encountered
from
certain
staff
was
unacceptable
and
has
tarnished
my
perception
of
the
company.
From
the
intrusive
and
inconvenient
calls
from
a
female
representative
named
_____,
to
the
deliberate
withholding
of
crucial
information,
my
experience
with
YouFit
Gym
was
nothing
short
of
disappointing.
She
manipulated
me
into
a
long-term
membership
agreement
that
was
clearly
not
suitable
for
my
needs,
taking
advantage
of
my
extremely
vulnerable
state,
that
I
confided
in
her
about.
She
recommended
the
most
expensive
plan
($43
monthly)
as
the
best
option
for
me
despite
knowing
I
wouldn’t
need
the
amenities
of
that
plan.
She
watched
me
sign
something
she
was
verbally
telling
me
content
of
(lesson
learned).
She
assured
me
that
I
could
cancel
the
membership
at
any
time,
and
she
would
take
care
of
the
cancellation
process
herself.
(she
did
not)
Moreover,
she
was
fully
aware
of
the
exact
dates
of
my
upcoming
travels.
It
has
since
become
apparent
that
she
deliberately
withheld
crucial
information
about
the
cancellation
policy
and
an
annual
fee
($54),
despite
knowing
my
temporary
status
as
a
non-local
resident
(visiting
family
and
flying
6
times
in
6
weeks),
with
plans
to
relocate
(contracted
job)
within
a
month
to
six
weeks.
When
I
sought
resolution
by
speaking
with
the
manager,
Myron,
he
offered
me
a
partial
refund
and
a
genuine
apology
and
recommended
that
I
reached
out
to
the
corporate
office
for
the
charges
I
was
never
informed
about
or
authorized.
The
corporate
office
responded
to
my
request
with
condescending
response
(a
picture
of
my
signature
on
the
contract)
and
no
resolution
for
the
predatory
nature
of
my
membership
plan
and
unauthorized
charges.
This
experience
has
left
me
with
no
choice
but
to
give
YouFit
Gym
a
one-star
rating
and
warn
others
to
approach
with
CAUTION.
I
am
also
contacted
the
BBB
and
Consumer
Protection
Agency.
On
a
positive
note:
The
regular
fitness
classes
are
great
and
their
instructors
are
friendly
and
knowledgeable.
Other
things
of
note:
bathrooms
are
usually
untidy
but
I've
only
used
them
a
handful
of
times.
Never
used
the
shower
so
can't
comment
on
if
the
water
pressure
is
good
or
the
water
is
warm.

used
the
sauna
so
can't
comment
on
that
either.
I
hope
the
company
takes
this
feedback
seriously
and
works
to
improve
its
practices
and
customer
service
in
the
future.
