What a freaking wreck! This gym just doesn't care and the people in it just don't care!! Don't believe all the good reviews. They must be from staff and friends. I understand the staff must be frustrated and tired of picking up after these lazy ass members, but at 7:30 in the morning there really is no excuse. Someone should be enforcing the "re-rack your own weights" rule! If the members don't want to do it, they don't need to be a member. They're probably losing more business than that members worth.

They should receive a negative rating. The equipment is at least 15-20 years old. Aesthetically, it looks old and rusted but mechanically is not even safe. A lot of the cushions are torn apart and the treadmills slip making it stop suddenly while your running. The weights are ALWAYS missing. It doesn’t matter what time of the day you come, you won’t find your weights because no one puts them back and the staff just sits on the front desk playing on their phones. They don’t even control who comes and goes so they could at least organize the weights in the morning or the night before. I come at 5am every morning but this is my last week here. Way too much money for a gym that provides less quality than 99% of the $10 gyms out there. If you’re thinking of signing up, DON’T SIGN UP TO THIS GYM! You’ll spend more time looking for the weights than working out.

After going to different LA Fitnesses all over I decided to go to this one..I didn't mind that it was a bit smaller than what I've gotten used to, and also the fact that it's less crowded. However, I was taken back by the fact that there are NO SPRAY BOTTLES whatsoever. We've been in this pandemic for about two years and every other gym I've been to there are spray bottles for the members to take sitting by the front desk so they can disinfect the equipment before and after use. Let's try to make an effort in not spreading this where we can help it. It's not that hard, and I feel its the wrong place to save money. Keep up with (Covid) times, LA Fitness! Also the equipment is not kept up well. Exchangeable hooks, handle, bars and ropes are also very few only, and not in good shape. What are 3 or 4 cable machines good for if there are not enough tools around to use them simultaneously. I'm disappointed.

this is the first gym i’ve ever joined and i have yet to regret it. the employees are so fun and energetic and always give off good vibes. it’s a very comfortable and chill environment.

I'm really enjoying this gym and everything offered. Was able to get back into swimming and really do love the customer service. Galen, the assistant general manager, was really accommodating, friendly, and helpful. He gave me and my partner a great tour with a thorough explanation of all the different amenities and perks. I have been taking advantage of everything he brought up since. Also, shoutout to Tylon for his assistance during my assessment. First day at the gym can be intimidating but he pushed me through my assessment and had me more motivated than I was before entering.

I’ve been coming to this location for a couple years now and I absolutely love it! The staff is very welcoming, always willing to help, and knowledgeable. They follow health protocols and the gym is constantly being cleaned wouldn’t want to go anywhere else!

Good gym overall!! Can use some cleaning tho. Wow. I’m Completely shocked over how unprofessional and rude the assistant manager is. He told me his name is Alex. I just moved from Los Angeles to Miami. I did a 3 day trial and was looking to cancel the trial to keep my membership at the other gym I go to for half the price. I told him that I was instructed by Marissa to call before 9pm on Monday to cancel because I signed a contract that would put me into a payment plan that I had selected. They had authorization to put the payment through with my card information. On the phone Alex said they don't do "contracts" but "agreements" and he said he didn't know what I was talking about and he was getting very frustrated with my inquiry. "I'm the assistant manager and I have never heard of that better.” I told him I was being told two different things from their employees. I very much signed a contract or "Agreement" (as he insisted), SAME THING in legal terms. I was thinking either someone had bad information or someone was trying to manipulate me for a sale. It was so weird. He then randommly asked me to give them a review which I thought was completed rude to ask of because my issue was still unresolved. It was like he was changing the subject. You should always be treating people with respect even if you aren't the right person to speak with regarding the issue at hand. If he was my employee, I would have him in management training. 

Such a weird phone call and it left a horrible taste in my mouth. Shout out to Marissa for helping! Much appreciated!

As somebody who’s been going to LA fitness since 2004 this is the most unsanitary LA fitness I’ve been to. From open leaks coming from the ceiling to literally ZERO paper towels available even in the bathroom. This is a gym and to not have proper cleaning products is just lazy, poor non management, and disgusting. There seems to be no manager and they just let this place completely run down from sweat everywhere, weights all thrown around, to totally UNSANITARY conditions. They already had to shut down once a few years back for remodeling when similar issues happened with leaks in the ceiling. The city of Pembroke Pines needs to come and inspect ASAP!

I have been going to LA fitness to play raquetball for years, and this location has the worst courts I have ever seen in my life. It is now a situation of safety. I cannot believe these courts are in such awful states. We even spoke to management- almost a whole year ago. The issue still persists.

Staff is super rude and the gym is very disorganized. Contacted corporate about the incident i had with a staff member and nothing was done. Everything gets brushed under rug like if nothing ever happened. The gym is dirty and the trainers are all out of control. I do not recommend anyone coming to this gym.

With All Due Respect: Putting the weights back in place is the BIGGEST problem in this gym. This OUR problem not the staffs. Regardless of how much we pay—- L.A fitness should constantly remind everyone by using signs to “Re Rack” the weights, take care of the equipment and put things back in their place. I’ve seen equipment last so short because we don’t take care of it. The gym is always Clean, the staff is friendly. I will rate 4 stars because just a few equipments need service and another few are rusty. The gym can be a 5 star if we “ourselves” take care of it. Occasionally, I’ve seen homeless hanging around the locker rooms 2-3 times in the past 2 months. Not sure how is that happening.

I highly recommend coming to this gym. Galen had a positive attitude the whole time and was willing to work with me and my sister. He made me motivated &’ comfortable to come and workout here !! , was a pleasure meeting him.

I've been to several gyms around the Pembroke Pines area and this is my favorite location. I HIGHLY recommend any class with Lucy! She is the absolute best. She will push you to reach your fullest potential. The only reason why this location received four stars instead of five is because the stair masters are so outdated. The machines are so outdated and they barely work. They should definitely replace those soon.

I recently re-joined LA Fitness at the Pembroke Pines location and was helped by Galen in signing up. Galen was so informative and made sure I got the best membership price available at the time. He personally walked me through how to use the LA Fitness App which was extremely helpful in understanding how to get the most of my new membership. I was very satisfied with the service LA Fitness, and specifically Galen, provided in re-activating my membership and would highly recommend this location.

I’m leaving one star, if zero stars could be posted I would leave that instead. Trainer Brian G creates a toxic environment no one should have to tolerate ESPECIALLY, if they pay money to workout and be safe. He is extremely disrespectful gym members. No one should be subjected any type of disrespect ever. I am extremely disappointed & disgusted in Brian’s behavior. I hope management plans to do something about his performance at work before they lose more business.

I hate it here. The amount of machines that are ‘scheduled for service’ is unacceptable. And the equipment that does work is often outdated, rusty and hard to adjust. Cable machines have no accessories. Like 2 pull down ropes in the whole gym. Yesterday I tried to find the row handles and there was only one. And of course it was taken. Horrible. I’ll take the L and drive to a further, better location.

The opening staff here is wonderful and does a great job at cleaning the gym every day and handling any issues we've had to bring up. (Cleaning wipes stations empty, machine missing weight ratings, spills, etc.) All have been handled as soon as it's brought to the attention of the staff. However, for an LA Fitness, the location is abysmal. I'm constantly looking for weights since the selection is severely lacking. The floors in the weight area are falling apart, and you'll find multiple pads/grips that need to be replaced in various machines. I'm picking up loose weights or plates in between sets and placing them where they belong since this location seems to attract some of the laziest gym goers I've ever witnessed. The parking lot is incredibly unsafe before sunrise/after sunset, with multiple events having happened in the first 6 months of the year alone. Ntm, the amount of creeps that management has overlooked after being warned multiple times and even shown footage of specific instances is disgusting. To conclude, magement here is nothing short of trash, but the staff will do their best to make up for what the "leaders" here lack.

I had an amazing experience. The gentleman at the front desk is very knowledgeable and went above and beyond for me to show me the new equipment. The gym is clean and the service is amazing. 5 star experience.

Best gym in Southwest Broward. Lots of different classes and always outstanding teachers, weight lifting coaches, ect. Very clean and well maintained facility. Good vibes! Very nice and professional staff.

Nice place a little pushy to get you to get a membership. Ultimately the high price, five times more than most places in the area and the three phone calls a day were the main reasons I did not choose this gym. But as a gym it’s an amazing facility with amazing staff. It is their job to call so I don’t blame the people, I wish they would just drop their prices a little

This facility is awesome. After growing up in Coral Springs, I have been a member of many gyms here in the area but I always come prefer this one even after it switched owners. I am a full time dancers and this is the only gym with a beautiful studio with access and personal training area. Jaden and Alex are so helpful if I have questions too.

I had a great time at la fitness. The workers were so kind to me and keep the whole gym clean and restocked. Galen helped me out so much, one of the best workers there. Definitely would recommend coming here.

Two padlock were cut, and two purses were stolen from women's locker room. Management did NOTHING. Didn't even call the police. Saturday morning with maybe 10 women. It is a membership club. They said they cannot access cameras until Monday. Feels like an insider job! They did not even look at the cameras on Monday. Zero security. I would not recommend this place.

Clean establishment with plenty of room to exercise comfortably. They occasionally host silent auctions of sports memorabilia. Not sure if 50 a month is a good deal though.

New everything... except for having their own security in the parking lot to help lower the risk of car break-ins.. Mind your belongings especially if you will be at a place for more then a few minutes I would suggest dash cams for those gym goers.. be safe out there

It is clean. Always what you expect from LA Fitness. But it is definitely screaming for an update. Staff is nice.

Worst LA fitness I've ever been too. Equipment is very outdated working out here feels like being in a time capsule saddest rope attachment and a pull down attachment that only goes to 95

I like this LA Fitness location. The shower’s water pressure is great in the men’s locker room. Never too crowded when I go in the morning. The only downside is the dumbbells are all over the place. Really you cannot blame the staff for this. People will ultimately be people and make a mess. There is only so much staff can do regarding people re-racking their weights. I tried another location in the area and I do favor this location a bit more. It doesn’t have the same external appeal like other ones I have been too, especially in Dallas. However, you are here to train and workout. It isn’t a luxury spa.

All i can say is i wish there was an LA in my town. Great gym with machines and free weights galore. Very clean, and helpful staff.

The front desk employees not welcoming at all. More interesting in themselves instead of the customer first time at that gym. But I am sure that is the normal for miami.

I really enjoy visiting this location. Some machines are usually broken and needs some updating. Also the music they play is not motivating at all.
