I
attempted
to
find
somewhere
on
google
to
leave
review
for
Hostel,
but
only
found
this.
This
review
is
for
The
Sheridan
Hostel
which
is
owned
and
operated
by
the
same
company
and
is
across
the
street
from
Sheridan
Guesthouse.
First
the
Pros:
albeit
very
few;
The
price
was
unbeatable.
The
room
was
very
clean.
The
grounds
were
well
maintained.
Location
to
the
beach
was
about
1.5
miles
and
many
eateries
in
the
area.
Local
transportation
is
also
easily
accessible.
The
Cons:
This
place
needs
to
have
some
sort
of
common
sense
when
screening
the
types
of
people
they
are
renting
to.
It
is
a
drug
users
and
dealers
paradise.
This
is
not
an
overstatement.
Many
of
the
guests
staying
here
were
getting
high
24/7.
They
would
then
nod
off
on
the
lounge
chairs
in
the
garden/fountain
area.
All
hours
of
the
night
people
were
in
and
out
of
the
room
i
was
sharing,
which
if
they
had
actually
stayed
in
that
room
would
not
have
bothered
me,
but
they
were
there
to
wake
up
the
"Dealer
of
the
Hostel".
The
gate
with
an
electronic
combination
lock
does
no
good
when
people
who
aren't
staying
at
the
hostel
have
the
code.
During
a
4
night
visit,
the
local
sheriff's
dept.
had
come
by.
3
times,
and
you
should
see
all
the
people
run
inside.
On
my
second
night
here,
one
of
the
guests
lost
his
temper
and
literally
punched
a
glass
table
top,
shattering
the
glass.
This
guest
was
never
asked
to
leave
the
property.
Makes
me
question
safety.
In
the
pros
I
said
the
price
was
unbeatable,
but
the
hidden
fees
get
you.
A
one
time
lock
fee
and
a
daily
parking
fee
will
be
added
on
at
check-in.
Do
not
question
staff
or
bring
an
issue
to
their
attention
as
they
will
find
a
very
condescending
way
to
respond.
