I was appalled at what I had notice. I came in there from working a 12hr shift.A coworker referred me to this place. I walked in there were two guys at the front desk one middle age tall white guy and another old white guy with glasses ( believe it was the owner) . The old guy did not acknowledge me but the other one did. Didn’t think much to it . Then I notice a pattern the old white guy will say hi to all the other customers( white). Then there was, a black guy that walk in and he didn’t even speak or look his way. He ordered take out he point at the guy food to pick it up but that was all. I will never support this establishment anymore seem very racist to Me. It shouldn’t matter of the person skin tone. Business is business I could of been anyone. SMH, so African Americans please do not support. Plus the food does not have any season or taste. Waste of money!! Beware.

Ordered my Sunday breakfast from Mayors cafe, and received that picture of what supposedly is meant to be corned beef, the container only 1/4 filled and burnt black, along with burnt home fries. Previous orders where missing utensils, cream cheese and syrup. Because I order bagel , French toast and I don’t eat with my hands.I am ordering delivered food because i don’t want to get up and get in my car Sunday morning and buy none of the mentioned above. It’s sad because the food is decent and earlier orders where always well delivered. Lately not sure what’s going on in there or if something has changed, but lack of attention to simple details have lost you guys a customer. When owning a restaurant utensils and condiments are basic supplies that come with orders.

The 3-3-3 Breakfast with a side of potatoes I ordered was good. This place has great food quality. The French toast is an acquired taste. The breading used wasn’t horrible just different. When calling to place order the gentleman who answered was very welcoming and helpful.

They are super racist. Employees and their customers. I’ve never felt more out of place by being the only light skinned Latina in there. They gave me my bill 2 minutes after I got my food but didn’t give anyone else their bill. I wasn’t fully finished with all my food and some random worker comes to take my plate and asks me if I’m done while he had already taken the plate. The food is terrible. It smells like tobacco because the owner smokes in there. I am never coming back or recommending this place to anyone.

Best place for Bagels, my friend and Real Estate Partner Art Bucci introduced me to this cafe. We came weekly to brain storm and have breakfast. My friend passed away, but coming here makes me feel close to him, stay focus on our Real Estate business and keep eating the best bagels in town.

Every morning we come here and it feels like having breakfast at home, with family. We see the same faces every day and Is like arriving home to a family gathering. We love this place, we love everyone working here. They are all kind and sweet and treat you with love. Thank you Mayor for being so sweet. Robin and Tanya are the best!

We went to eat breakfast, and the waiter was not rude but made us feel like she didn't want us to be there, gave us the food and never came back, we were all Hispanics and if the waiter wasn't racist, she was very close of being one, will never go back to this place.

Incredible place to go to. Very welcoming atmosphere where it was like a small ma and pa shop. Great service, pleasant conversations, and incredible serving times. You can usually get a good idea of the quality by how crowded it was and I picked the right place. Hands down this is the best place you can go for breakfast in South Florida and I'll be here as often as I can from now on! Strongly recommend trying it.

Very disappointed in this place. Their hours state that they are open until 3pm. I called in at 2:34pm to place a to go order. Apparently they stop seating and taking orders at 2:30pm. I reiterated to the lady that it's only 4 minute and they are supposed to be open till 3, and it's a simple to go order on 1 bagel. She simply hung up on me. Maybe they should change the stated hours to show 2:30. I will never try this place again. I guess they don't need me.

I’m about 10 miles from them but it’s worth the drive for breakfast. Bagel is on point, breakfast is very good and great portions. Grits are the best. I typically get 3 scrambled eggs with bacon, home fries, and grits with everything bagel toasted with butter. I only do take out. Very small place and tables are to close to each other. Only issue you have to double check your order been know to forget an item from time to time.

A great find in the Pembroke Pines neighborhood near the Publix in a strip mall. there was a small wait but it was certainly worth it as there was more breakfast on both our plates than either one of us could finish. The bagels were absolutely delicious. I had the mayors skillet and it was so good. We were traveling or would have asked for take home boxes. #stevensleavin

Deli/diner type menu for breakfast and lunch with a great social atmosphere. Tables are close and conversations start up easily with other customers and the servers too. We make new friends every time we visit. Love their French fries.

Inedible lox. Like licking salt directly with an extremely fishy taste. I had 3 generations of smoked salmon loving family who love salty items and no one could stomach even a tiny taste of this stuff. The amount they suggested I buy for 8 bagels (1/2 a pound) would have given us all heart disease. I went right back 5 minutes later to try to correct the situation and had to spend another 30 bucks on the less salty kind (it would have been great to know there was a less salty version when buying 30 dollars worth of smoked fish). The mayor (presumably) told me that all this was just fine. I demand the mayor be recalled!

The home fries were flavorful bowl of seasoned potatoes with a generous portion of peppers & onions. They were NOT the dried out, bland potato pile getting old on a griddle you experience at other places. Great selection of fresh bagels too to complete your breakfast sandwich.

Food is good but used to be better. Prices out of control?? Chicken soup (water, carrots matzo ball) $10?? Did water go up in price? Little bits of chicken. A little sign that says prices subject to change, but they don’t tell you what the new price is? Customer for 30 yrs. No gauging please.

Their coffe was pretty good, not extremely strong which is to most people's liking. The bagels where also good but those muffins where heaven sent. They were just on the right side of sweet and when paired with the coffee it was amazing on my taste buds

I walked into the cozy, old-school diner and was greeted by the warm smile of the hostess who led me to a booth by the window. The menu filled with classic American comfort food like burgers, fries, and milkshakes. I ordered a cheeseburger with bacon and fries, and a chocolate milkshake to wash it all down. I was delighted to see that it looked just as appetizing as it smelled. The burger was juicy and flavorful, the bacon crispy and salty, and the fries perfectly golden and crispy. And the milkshake was thick, creamy, and packed with chocolatey goodness.

I was the first time to visit the restaurant, looks good, everything nice. But the service was sucks. Very bad. I didn’t get any service, she’s rude. From the beginning take an order to I finish the whole meal. Didn’t come to ask, also say thank you to her didn’t get response. I got very bad experience. Maybe we’re Asian. I will call this is discrimination.

1st time there and got a friendly fast pickup service. Just picked up some great tasting bagels. The place was clean, the employees were organized, quick, and warm. Looking forward to dining in and checking out more of the menu.

Great local breakfast place. Has a great variety for breakfast(not sure about lunch or dinner as I've never been there for those meals). Staff is attentive and prices are reasonable. One of my favorites for breakfast in our area.

My family and I have been coming here for years, and we love it. We have dined in and done takeout. Service is always good, and the food is always delicious. I love their chive cream cheese. They never skimp out on cream cheese servings. This place is ALWAYS busy, and it's a constant reminder of their reputation and good food. There is usually a long wait on weekend mornings but calling in an order for pickup is an easy way to "skip" the line. Picking up is super easy at the cashier. I've never ordered from here using UberEats (but it is an option) because they have to be open for you to place the order. They aren't open after 3pm, so if you're craving Mayor's after that time, you'll have to wait. But honestly none of that matters because it's so yummy when they are open.

Great Bagels and coffee, and cheap too. When I lived in the area I'd get the two at least 3x a week and they never disappointed. Now it's a once in a couple months place, but still fantastic. It's always nice to chat with the Mayor Frank too. This is the quintessential neighborhood cafe.

Breakfast is delicious, staff is second to none. Loved mayors skillet breakfast and enjoyed it with my sexy fiancé who introduced the place to me. She has been going there with her father and family for many years. Thank you hunny..
