Well I have to say it’s a very nice park I live in the apartments right next to the Park itself. Yep I walk my dog around the fence every morning and love with all my heart. The tranquility that there is great. Usually no one else is around during work hours and school hours on weekdays. That is the best time to enjoy the park. For the Adults have a blessed day at Tanglewood Park and if you see a guy walking a dog say hi USA.

Small park with a soccer pitch and basketball court, access to the water behind the fence requires walking around it next to the bordering apartments. Caught one bass in about an hour and a half of fishing.

Extremely beautiful park! Nice place to relax by the lake. And great place for a party under the pavilion.

Why is half the park an empty stretch of grass? Lost potential for decorated walkways and shaded benches. I want to get AWAY from the children screaming, not sit next to them.

Tanglewood Park is a public park just outside the gates of the The Estates of Tanglewood Lakes community. It sits across from the police station. The park is located in the Tanglewood Lakes section of Pembroke Pines, a neighborhood of single family homes and condos built in the mid 1980's. Tanglewood serves as an oasis of nature and recreation for the people who live in the surrounding homes. Park amenities include a basketball court, racquetball court, shade covered playground with a section for toddlers and one for older children, restrooms. a large picnic pavilion with grill, sand volleyball court, and a large multipurpose field. There was an area roped off on the field for endangered burrowing owls but the burrows looked closed. This cozy neighborhood park is perfect for picnics, cookouts, recreation and play. I came by on a summer evening to try and walk off a bit of a heavy Mexican meal I just eaten at an area restaurant. On the evening I visited children were enjoying the playgrounds, young adults a basketball court game, and a family was having their evening meal in the pavilion. For a neighborhood park there is a lot to enjoy in this well maintained outdoor green space. The Tanglewood Lakes residents are lucky to have this recreational resource in their community.

A very large park with a fairly large shelter. Restrooms, basketball and handball courts, ballfield and sand volleyball court. Playground next to shelter. Enough stuff and room for any party. Also, the shelter had 8 electrical outlets ( all in one corner of shelter) and water faucet.

Brand new playground, Beach volleyball, basketball, baseball fence and fronton court, plus building for celebrations, bathrooms an v water fountains, quiet, not busy on a Thursday afternoon. It just lacks seating in the playground area.

Hidden gem, we hosted our cub scout pack 460 Fall Frolic even here and the kids had a great time. Plenty of seating and grass area to play games. The park is a plus with the swings and we love that the bathroom was very close. A great place to come and spend the day with the kids.

👍 The pool is nice and I appreciate the presence of a lifeguard, but some of the rules are lame. No masks (think snorkel type masks) in the pool. Ummm, why? What harm can come from an extra 2” piece of plastic covering one’s nose? Goggles are fine, masks are the Devil. Also, no toys in the pool. Like...
