Haven't been here in about 5 YEARS!, but we had a nostalgic moment and ordered the same meals. AND WE'LL DO IT AGAIN !! The consistency, the service, the drinks and meals were top notch, it made school shopping difficult, because we were so stuffed, sloshed and satisfied 😋 Tatiana our server had no problem keeping us company (Shes Was Amazing) !!

We have been coming to this location for a very long time, and it's due to great people like Frankie, Felix, Chaq, and Angel, they go out of their way to make your visit special, and this is how it should be done in this industry. I hope one day they all get their stores so they can continue their success. The food and the drinks are always amazing, and the place is kept well.

Staff was nice and food was mostly good. The white corn guacamole was yummy but portions was very small. It was actually just pieces of whole kernel white corn mixed with small diced avocado served with chips. Ordered a passion fruit mango ice tea which was fragrant but unsweetened so many might not like it. It was perfect for me because I am diabetic. I had the chicken tequila fettuccine which I have tried before in other California pizza kitchen locations but this one had really thick hard fettuccine so it was hard to chew but still flavorful and I liked the fresh Parmesan used (upon request). The kids like the starter bread and olive oil and the wild mushroom pizza was ok (too much mushroom with little flavoring). My sister got a salad which looked good but she didn’t like that they didn’t cut the stems off the majority of the greens so it was a bit stringy to eat.

Service been poor! Management terrible!! They CLose the front door on Fridays at 8:30. Servers don’t want bring bread on table! All him to the table and he hide in the kitchen. Save your time and money! Do not recommend this place

Today, June 26th 2022 at the Pembroke Pines location. Came in at 8:20 p.m. Don't expect great service or their pasta to be fully cooked. Asked for bread twice just to be told 20 mins later their bread oven was turned off. We had ordered chips & dip, still dip should have offered us more chips. Didn't. Ordered chicken w/pasta. Pasta was so hard. Ugh. Drinks took 4ever. Non alcoholic too! Totally disappointed. We were still sitting at our table & they had turned on musc to start cleaning. Never going there again. Total waste of money.

Food is terrible, service is super bad. While the restaurant was almost empty they made us wait for 25 mins to seat 10 people. We went around 11 AM and they were out of a few items. I would not recommend this location to anyone else nor visit again.

Havent been here in a few years but everytime ive come its been pretty good. Our waiter was a little unattentive which was annoying since we kept having to ask someone to get him for us. Otherwise food is still good, love their fresh lemonades. We tried for the first time their avocado egg rolls, boy were they amazing! So full of flavor and very filling! Will be def ordering those every time. Their pizza always on point, love how they add fresh herbs to give the pizza an extra yummy taste. Their lunch combos are great deal, def worth coming at that time. Overall glad its still around and doing well.

Love the Cauliflower Crust pizzas! My favorites so far are the California Club, California Veggie, and Thai Chicken Pizzas. Tried the Shanghai Power Bowl the other day, was a bit skeptical at first about the black heirloom Forbidden Rice, but wow, it was delicious! Highly recommend it if you enjoy healthy food. Unfortunately customer service is not that great.

We have been coming to this location for a very long time, and unfortunately, its been poorly managed, to say the least; they have lost many great employees, and their business has suffered. We have since followed some of these great employees to other locations to get excellent service and encourage them to grow with the company. Having said all that, one of these employees is Felix, and he is now back in this location and is running it the way it should be. We were there last night, and there was a significant difference; the food and drinks were terrific, but more importantly, the service was on point. Also, the place looked nice and inviting; you could tell there was a great vibe. This is an excellent location in the Pembroke Lakes Mall, so if you are shopping, stop by, have some great food, and ask for Felix; he will make your experience unforgettable.

While the waiter (only 1) try his best to serve everybody, The service is SLOW. Its been like that like 5 to 6 months now. My question to the owner is... What are you doing as a leader and business owner to improve the service and address the claims of your regular clients? At least I visit like twice or more every month (my kids love the food here). Are there plans to close or sell the place? If you are short staff, just don't open. Open and provide poor service is worst than not open at all. Is our responsability as business owner to strive for our employees and customers.

Second time in a row, once on a weekend and once on a weekday. Three waiters for a full house and one covering front desk reception as well, took 30 minutes to get our drinks. Food is good, service terrible. Hire more staff.

They get 5 stars for the buffalo cauliflower...otherwise, I haven't tried other menu items. With regards to customer service, I usually call in my order and pickup so the process is quick and very minimal interaction with staff.

New UPDATE: My wife & I loved the seasonal summer menu. 2nd time trying the California Fields Salad (watermelon, strawberries, Feta, basil & pistachios) - this time as an Appetizer. Hope they bring it back soon/make it a permanent option! She had the Salmon w/ Pan-Roasted Summer Vegetables: North Atlantic salmon (served w/ fingerling potatoes, cherry tomatoes, charred onions, & bell peppers). I had the Seafood Cioppino, served w/ Blue mussels, calamari, white fish, bay scallops, & shrimp in a white wine tomato broth with fennel & grilled baguette. Unbelievably tasty! We drove 22 miles each way but well worth it!

Love California Pizza kitchen BUT not this one. The service is beyond bad. So bad that we left before we even got seated after waiting over 20 minutes for a hostess to even approach us. Then another 20 for a table only to have a family behind us to get a table before us while we have a crying baby that had been waiting for 40 minutes already. Just to not even get a table afterwards and still be waiting. Honestly if you want to eat go somewhere else.

The place is inside the Pembroke pines mall. We were seated quickly but it took a long time to place an order. The food also took a bit longer than usual. We ordered the Thai pizza and it was a unique one. Not too greesy and fresh. The spicy cauliflower appetizer was ok. Nothing great. The kids brownie was good. Can improve their service.

Came in on 12/17 at 9:10, was told by hostess that the dining room and kitchen closes at 9:30. I said that’s fine we know what we want to order. She tells us no we must order take out.. I don’t argue with her. We order take out, leave around 9:50 with food while 2 women walk. I come back inside bc they forgot to give us our drinks to see those 2 women be sat down with bread and menus at 9:50!!!! Restaurant closed at 10pm, make up your mind on who these “rules” apply to; lazy staff! Giving 2 stars bc cashier that served us was super nice

I usually order lettuce wrap, dumpling, spicy milano pizza. Recently I tried smash avocado and spicy honey bee focaccia, now they are my favorite

In August of 2014 I came here so intensely thirsty I was borderline in medical danger. I had just scuba dived and I was so parched that I wanted to cry but couldn't for lack of hydration. My muscles started losing strength. Luckily I was near this building. I entered the establishment with one goal. To consume an ice cold glass of water as fast as possible. I was at the bar and was served very quickly by what may be my favorite bartender of all time. He poured me a glass that I will never forget. I finished the glass in about half a second. He said a small joke to me about it and of course I wanted another. I will never ever (ever) forget the glass of water I had at the California Pizza Kitchen in August of 2014. The feeling I had from that water was pure bliss and jubilation. I can never reach that level of euphoria again. And I am okay with that. I cannot remember the bartender specifically, white guy, normal height slight beard. The man breathed life back into my lungs and hope into my heart. Idk about food but for my experience I give this establishment 5 stars.

Felix has the best personality, good customer service skills, friendly, attentive & fun. Wouldn't be surprised if he was the manager. Definitely a keeper, had a positive atmosphere. Made my lunch really special. The restaurant was really clean aswell.
