Very friendly establishment. When I walked in, it did not take long for me to be seated. I had a party of three. We were given the menu immediately, then greeted by one of the owners. She created conversation and checked on us frequently. The food was delicious and came out hot, which is always nice. We had the massaman curry and tofu pad Thai. They were both extremely delicious, and the portions were so large we had to take the rest home.

One of the best Thai restaurants I have ever eaten at. The portions are plentiful and the quality is excellent. I highly recommend stopping in or getting your favorite to go. Terrific husband and wife team and exquisite flavors. I plan to revisit often. My new favorite place.

The food was pretty good. However, the price on the menu was different than the price charged (by 1 dollar for my dish). When I told the waiter AFTER I HAD PAID, KNOWING THAT IT WAS A DIFFERENT PRICE, he tried to tell me that the difference was due to the tax. That wasn't true, of course. Then he tried to tell me to call the manager to tell him. I just said "It's easier to just never come back, actually".

So I decided to try some Thai food and chose this location. I ordered the Sautéed Duck soup, and the Chicken Satay. The soup was delicious and with so much flavor. The chicken satay had to be one of the best tasting chicken on a stick I have ever eaten. I am very excited and eager to order again on my next Thai night.

Absolutely one of the best thai food experience i've had and quite some time. The food is delicious everything is made to order And for the price you cannot beat it. Four pieces of sushi roll plus a main dish... Awesome. They give you a three course meal... Lunch special for under $9 bucks! Try this restaurant... you will not be disappointed... I promise! And the service is excellent too! The food is so peaceful and flavorful that the only suggestion to the owner would be to give us the option to supersize the plate for an additional couple of bucks. :) I could have easily ate more... soooo good.

I’ve been going to Thai World for about 17 or 18 years. I’ve always loved it. They must have recently changed their chef or started cutting serious corners because it’s a very noticeable difference in the taste and the quantity of the food. Their house thai salad used to come with a delicious peanut dressing and fried wontons on top. The last two instances where I’ve ordered this salad the peanut slop is absolutely inedible, portion is noticeably less and the fried wontons are now the pik-nik potato sticks that you get at the grocery store. It’s a horrible change and it needs to get better soon or I’ll have to start ordering from another Thai place unfortunately.

I previously left a 5-star review for this restaurant but after sending my husband in for me to get a simple beef pad thai, and having to wait over 30 mins for that single item (and it wasn’t busy), and then getting a half-empty takeout container with hardly any beef or bean sprouts in it… I can no longer recommend this place in good conscience. And they charged $17 for that. Crazy. UPDATE: when I got home and opened the food to eat it (about 10 mins from when we left the restaurant), it was like one solid brick in the container. I feel like this takeout container was sitting getting cold and tough for the full 30+ mins they had us waiting - or longer. I don’t know why it’s like this I haven’t had this ever happen before. Pad Thai is supposed to be the opposite of this. This is genuinely bad.

This was my favorite restaurant of all time. Was. They must have changed cooks or management. The curry is now watered down the, the portions are half what they used to be a long with the fact the food is now bland and flavorless. I really love this place and now its really bad. I'm so disappointed, it used to be the best Thai food in Pembroke pines.

Went tonight for dinner. We had a party of nine but three separate checks. We all ordered drinks. After 20 minutes, I never got my hot tea. Had to ask for it. We placed our order. A half hour later only two of the meals came out. One of the meals was identical to what I had ordered yet I didn’t get mine. My daughter and son-in-law ordered soup and two appetizers. It took over 30 minutes for them to get it. By the time I got my meal, everybody else had finished eating. Worst service ever. The checks came. They had added gratuities to each of the checks even though we had three separate checks. In addition, they messed up two of the checks. Three of the drinks were put on two different checks and we ended up with a charge on our check for something we never ordered. That is unfortunate because the food was good but the service was so bad that we will never go back again.

I love that this is mom and pop restaurant! The food is consistently good, and the service is quite prompt. They have cozy indoor dining, but I usually order takeout or delivery and it's almost always delivered hot & freshly made. I LOVE their Red Curry Chicken dinner and their pad Thai is so yummy! I also tried the steamed chicken dumplings this time and was not disappointed! Highly recommend if you're in the mood for homestyle Thai food!

I’ve. eaten here a few times. Each time I try something different and have always enjoyed the meal. Today I had the Basil Chicken. It is fantastic, the basil flavor was not overpowering and the vegetables were hot, but yet still crisp. The owner came to our table and spoke with us. She was very friendly, and when I ask about the piano, she offered to play a song for us. It created a great ambience. My colleague has travel to Thailand many times and stated the food was very authentic.

We like eating at Thai World Restaurant. Great food, great service & very clean. However, today was even better than before! The original owners (husband and wife) retired and was taken over by some family members. Again the place is a must to visit! They now have a piano and the server played for us! Check them out! 5 Stars!

We pulled up and the restaurant was empty. We almost left. But figured we came for Thai food so we should try it. I am so glad we did! I'm not an expert on Thai food, so I don't know how "authentic" it is. But I am an expert on flavorful food and customer service and this place did great! The waitress was extremely helpful and when we asked about different dishes she gave us good descriptions. And the food was fast, fresh, and fantastic! The portions are hefty and the flavors are great. If you are thinking about Thai food, this place should definitely be your next step. 10/10 do recommend and will absolutely return.

Food is fresh and well made. The service was very good. We have been there twice and both times were great. The owner played the piano for us! Really enjoyed it.

While in town to attend the n f l football game last weekend. This quaint family owned thai restaurant fulfilled the calling of delicious and tasty food. Shout out to the owner for a personal greeting and a preview taste of a dessert she created.

So I don’t trust Thai food that combines with Japanese food or Chinese food that kind of restaurant. normally it’s owned by Thai and It won’t be authentic. So I picked this Thai restaurant. I ordered Thai fried rice, papaya salad and clear noddle salad. Clear noodle salad is very good, I will def order it again. Thai fried rice is decent but I had better. I thought all of Thai fried rice should be fried with basil bcuz that’s what I had before. It’s still good, just not as good as the basil Thai fried rice. Last and the worst in my order is papaya salad. Papaya salad was super salty and very heavy. I had to put them in the water for washing the heavy sauce off my salad. Papaya salad is supposed to taste light and fresh. And they make papaya salad taste like soy sauce salad. No good. Overall, it’s still a good restaurant, next time I’ll avoid papaya and order something else.

If you like waiting over half an hour for a dry meal that looks two days old, you've come to the right place. If you enjoy being ignored at an empty restaurant, this place is definitely for you. Terrible service. My daughter & I actually got up and walked out. Save yourself the aggravation & stay away from this place.

Let's start with what was great. Food was delicious, prices reasonable, polite friendly service. Great for a date or group. There was only 1 server for the entire restaurant but she was on top of things. So why not 5 stars!?There was a little boy who seemed to be a son, grandson or both, playing with the place setting cutlery on the tables, including putting it in his mouth. It will have me thinking twice before going back. Which is disappointing because for all the things that were great, hygiene in a public serving restaurant, famliy or franchise business model, especially in these times is important, crucial, required from all persons on site.

One of the best Thai restaurants around - you will not even find a more flavorful Thai basil dish in Thailand! The service was exceptional AND friendly. Orices are very reasonable - especially for the lunch special (about half the price of far inferior Thai restaurants in the area). Highly recommended!

Ordered pad see ew and received pad Thai noodles with broccoli and chicken. Pad see ew is meant to be made with a completely different noodle. This is not pad see ew and no respectable Thai restaurant would try to pass it off as such. I also ordered Tom kha gai soup and it was basically just straight up warmed coconut milk with mushrooms and scallions. I lived in NY for 10 years and have had some amazing Thai food. This isn't even close. Save your money.

I am writing this review while finishing up my delicious Basil Chicken at lunch time. The accompanied soup is good as well. The business is family owned and I plan to visit often.

I've been going here on and off for as long as I can remember. While I haven't been able to sit physically in the store recently (because of precarious events), I've still been eating these incredible meals through pick up. The sweet and sour chicken, pad Thai, and spring rolls (my personal favorites) are to die for. The waiters are very sweet and understanding, and there's such a wonderful homey atmosphere. Every time I crave some kind of food, it's always been food from Thai World Gourmet Restaurant!

Excellent, in the way of Thai cusine. Fresh ingredients, serious levels of spice and several variations of classic Thai dishes. Thai world maintains authenticity compared to what I have experinced locally. However, one needs to pay attention to details when ordering/receiving and it will set you back as Thai cusine has exploded in price! Still, I have much respect for them as the restaurant has been there for as long as I can remember and it serves quality food.

I hate to leave negative reviews on a business but I had such an awful experience. I ordered takeout and it was the same thing for both me and my girlfriend; Thai red curry and a side of 2 spring rolls. I was told it would be a 30 minute wait which was understable being that it was a Saturday night. I arrived there about 40 minutes after I called and ordered and was running behind. After paying I waited an additional 45 minutes! There was another customer who experienced the same thing before me. The kicker is, there were only 2 tables sat and they were already eating so I could not find any justification for an hour and a half wait for 2 orders of food. Also the food was pretty bland and there are much better Thai restaurants, I guess this is what I get for trying new places.

I don’t know how anybody can say this food can be authentic or good at best I went there for my brother-in-law‘s birthday the only thing good about it was the cake that we brought . this place has been there for over for 20 years from what I hear, but the current owners I’ve only owned it for two months, I’ll give it to them that they work hard but the food had no Authentic taste the chicken was dry and they loaded up with sugar in the sauce. My daughter could eat the chicken with rice we had to go next-door after we’re done there to the Colombian restaurant which smelled amazing and she ate everything that we bought her. I give them two stars just because of the hard work that I know it takes to work in a restaurant but that’s it.
