Came here from Seattle to visit a few relatives for Christmas and came in to try one of the few pho places in the area. My friends from Seattle told me that this place has really good Bun Bo Hue which is a spicy lemongrass based beef soup noodle. They even make speciality of that spicy lemongrass soup by putting it in a typical pho as well so I had to check it out. I got the spicy lemongrass soup with my favorite pho cuts which is fatty brisket, cooked brisket and beef meat balls. Not to mention that you can customize what ever cuts you like and they will do that for you!! Coming from Seattle and having been to Vietnam, I have a fair share of various spicy lemongrass soup and I have to say pho 78 is on a lighter side however it packs in so much flavor. The beef flavor and the lemongrass was not overpowering one another and you can taste both of them really well unlike others that I’ve tried where it be just lemongrass or just beefy. I usually like mine spicy so I requested their chili oil and as usual lots of veggies on the side too. We came in around 7:30 PM and the restaurant was super packed and they only had one staff working outside catering to guests while another in the back bringing out food and drinks. We had to wait for our food for a little while but that’s understandable since their kitchen must have been backed up from the looks of it. The staff was nice and despite the busy hour would come back checking up on us. Also while we were dining there was this other table of guest being rude to the staff claiming that the lemongrass soup was just not it and that it’s not what they are used to and it’s just bone marrow soup XD and that the restaurant should warn others that their soup isn’t what they claim to be by wanting to send it back to the kitchen. It’s funny seeing the entitlement of seeing non-Vietnamese telling Vietnamese how their soup should be. Girly pops if you are not the chef how do you know that’s it’s just bone marrow soup and honey that is not what I am tasting despite ordering the same broth as you? Don’t know what she was talking about but I feel bad for the employee who was given such a hard time during a rush hour. Anyways, despite this commotion, we had such a great time coming here and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic pho especially their speciality of spicy lemongrass soup in the area.

A friend recommended me this place so we came here last night during their rush hour to do a to go. Waited for a good hour and a half for my food but it was delicious. Haven’t seen this restaurant this packed at all and they were pretty understaffed. Their orders were pretty backed up assuming everyone is here due to the holidays. The manger gave us waiting for our to gos a bottle of soda as a complimentary. They even had to stopped taking in their to gos in order to get their food out for the diners. I would come back again next time when they are not busy like this for dine in.

Excellent locally-owned Vietnamese restaurant. Wife and I ordered pho - hers was a medium chicken bowl while mine was a large combination bowl. Broth was good and plentiful with the various meats and noodles. Tendon, tripe, sliced meatball, basil, bean sprouts, lime, etc. Employees were friendly, prompt and professional. Highly recommend this business if you're craving Vietnamese cuisine/pho.

Was searching for a Vietnamese restaurant nearby the Hard Hotel and found this restaurant. We had to have the Pho, at a Vietnamese restaurant and found the broth to be lacking in some of the spice seasoning and you can see that the broth was not that dark. The meats were very tender, which was good. The banh mi was tiny, like half sized. For the price, it was not worth it. The cucumber in vermicelli rice noodle dish was not crunchy and crisp. The grilled pork and rolls in it was flavorful. The service was prompt and the food came out fast.

Really really deliciously authentic pho & apps in the Miami area. We got our food in 40 minutes but mostly because it was so busy and they were understaffed. But once we got it, very impressed. Would come back again for sure.

The food was light flavorful and fresh I would eat there again. The servers did not engage in small talk but were very attentive and pleasant. I had the beef Pho, the rest of my family had #46 & #47 the vermicelli bowl with chicken and shrimp. Large portions. Decor not special.

Pro: Clean store, fast service, great portion of Pho (so many noodle)! Cons: not our flavor, pricey! We ordered 4 Pho and we all could not finish them due to the large portion of noodle (not meat) but less tasty in broth. It was $15.40 for a medium Pho, which I did not recall that much in the menu.

Definitely a good spot for pho , but a little pricey than other pho places. Would recommend this place if you're around the area and need some warm soup.

Medium bowls of pho turned out to be a generous amount---- they nailed it on this one! Also, the grilled shrimp vermicelli noodles bowl has a lot of vermicelli noodles and can be an entree on its own--- you can get full off of just that! I ordered extra chili vinegrette 🌶 to pour over those noodles for extra flavor. Try to soak the grilled shrimps in the chili vinegrette--- it gives more flavor than eating them grilled and plain. Good job, guys!

Definitely a regular here. I even have my own booth :) . Great customer service and the food is even more delicious. Hands down the best pho is South Florida. Shout-out to Tommy and his family for always taking good care of their customers. Customer Service drives business!

We ordered 2 large pho and bun bo hue. The pho didn't taste anything like pho. It taste like noodles with cinnamon taste. No beef smell, flavor. We were so disappointed. The services was not as expected also. The waiter never came back to check on us. We asked for onions on the side and they charged us $1.75. Don't even think about eating at this place.

This larger than it looks establishment is nestled in a large plaza. It's relatively clean with tables spaced nicely. The quintessential pho was ok. It's tastety, but a little bit salty for my taste. It filled the belly nicely all the same. Excellent iced coffee made fresh before your eyes. Single person bathroom & good parking about sums it up.

If you're looking for fancy, this is not the place. But if you fancy real vietnamese pho and dripping coffee, this is it. Real kind staff will answer all your questions, and I did have some 😁

I've been eating here for a couple years then tried several other places in the area and I still think Pho 78 has the best Pho in Hollywood. I like the flavor of the herbs and spices in the broth and the sandwiches and rice paper rolls are nice too. I also came to buy some soup for my sick mother, it's a really healthy soup to eat when you're getting over a flu because of the herbs and lime.

When I say this place is a great spot I mean it. The customer service and the way they treat you when you come in is amazing. You feel like you're coming to a family members house and they are ready to feed you and make all your worries disappear. When I first walked in I was greeted and felt welcomed and when it was time to order I wasn't rushed and even offered recommendations if needed. I placed my order and the food came out hot and super fast and was delicious. Honestly this place needs more hype because it is amazing and worth it!

This place has amazing food and service. We come here quite often and it never disappoints. If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese food, this is the place. I highly recommend the pork skewers!

Please go to this place! They really have such delicious "Thit". Try their Bun Thit Nuong or their Com Thit Nuong Cha Gio. They season the meat delicious and tenderize it in a way I haven't tasted before. I like it more than Thit in little Saigon California. Their Bun Bo Hue is perfect. I wouldn't change a thing. I love their Com Tam. Please go to this restaurant for really good authentic Vietnamese food.

Very fast and friendly service. Laid back and relaxing atmosphere. Family friendly. Chicken Lovers Pho bowl was extremely tasty, filling and so comforting. The quail eggs burst with flavour. Spicy beef broth is not too spicy, great flavour, rich tasting. Our second visit - both excellent experiences. We’ll be back, with the kids next time!

Delicious phở. Fast service, friendly staff. The quality of the ingredients is high and the dishes are super fresh. I would recommend and can’t wait to be back. They have some of the best in the area.

Not the best Pho I had. But it’s pretty good. I will recommend this place for some nice Pho. There are 3 Pho sizes, they give you good portion of beef compare to other places.

It’s okay. The Chicken Banh Mi is well made and very flavorful but portioned a little in the smaller size than I hoped. 4/5 The Beef Brisket Pho was lacking. All the ingredients were there but even with sriracha and extra spicing on my end…it wasn’t flavorful enough. The broth just didn’t have the impact that expected from a usual Viet Pho spot. 2.5/5 Service was quick and they are hospitable, lighting was a bit dim for me personally but I could see it being good for a small lowlight lunch or dinner. 3/5

Pros: - excellent customer service - relaxed and clean atmosphere - delicious and high quality food, with good vegetarian and vegan options too Cons: - delivery is limited to Postmates (but that may or may have changed, call to ask) - not open late night Verdict: * One of the best Vietnamese dining experiences in the area

  • 3/5 Lynn P. 5 years ago on Google
This restaurant is significantly larger than any of the other Vietnamese restaurants I've been to. However, the service is great, the portions are large, and the flavors are spot on. The ambiance itself was a bit underwhelming. The decor, the upkeep and overall feel was not the best. Not my favorite Vietnamese restaurant

Great little hole in the wall. Servers are all young and really helpful. Clean place, cleaning left and right. The bubble tea was very good, not too sweet and the bobas were nice and chewy. The egg rolls were so tasty, we had to order two more! We had the Pho Number 4, with eye round steak. Super yummy broth, probably one of the tastiest Pho’s I have had. Overall would highly recommend.

I truly wanted to give this place a great review. The person who answered the phone & took my order was so polite, helpful & friendly. The food taste good, my only problem was the portions in comparison with the amount of money we spent. $52 for 3 entrees for take out. Beef ribs rice dinner, grill chicken rice dinner & a chin phó. My brother was completely hungry after eating this for dinner & he doesnt eat that much for a grown adult man. The phó was the only deceit meal. I'm sorry I cant see myself going here again. Specially for take out.
