The front desk staff should look into getting at least some customer service skills. When you work with the public, specially if your business depends on people coming in, you have to be mature, be capable of listening and communicating, understand your discretionary power and being flexible. A staff member harassed my sons because of this review.

Service has gotten worse, not all staff but select few have rude attitudes. Not only that but some front desk staff plays overhead music too loudly, so loudly that I can barely hear my AirPods at 90% volume. Members shouldn’t have to blast their eardrums just to hear their workout music through headphones. When asked politely I was told the music couldn’t be adjusted, having worked at this particular youfit in the past I know that is not the case. Music volume and station can be adjusted from tuner by the front desk near the drink fridge. I have chosen this location because it was “homey” familiar and have attended over years now. Due to the unhelpful staff that may change. I go to the gym to unwind not to feel uncomfortable.

Been at this location for many many years. Have visited all the other YouFit in Broward as well as about a dozen other gyms in Broward. This one by far will always be my club. It’s the only gym I’ve been at where it hasn’t felt like just a gym. The staff is beyond personable and professional. Shama and Drew are 1st class!

Normally this is my go to gym and I loved coming here when the old staff was there, but as of recently it’s become a nightmare. I’ve never had any issues with any of the staff, but recently one of their team members gave me an issue over nothing. I usually work out with the gym trainer Ian (great team member and honestly one of the main reasons I continue to work out here), and he let me borrow a piece of his own personal equipment. I stopped by the gym in the afternoon and was coming to return it, as I walked in and went to the desk, I realized I didn’t have my card. I asked the team member named Christopher (Spanish/Mexican kid with a patchy beard) if I could sign in with my phone number because I didn’t have my card. He then started to get rude, and questioned why I didn’t have my card, and began to give me a hard time and belittle me. This was the first time anyone has done anything like that. I know a majority of the staff by name because I have worked out here for the last year and I am a Lime Card Member. I have seen plenty of people sign in with just their phone number and there never was any issues. It was until till Cristian (shorter spanish guy with tattoo sleeve) told Christopher that I was okay and that I am a regular at this gym because of how many times he has seen me. This isn’t the first time I’ve noticed this particular team member act super unprofessional. He is always chasing around the girls in the gym who are wearing tight work out clothes, and harassing them in the middle of their work outs, to the point I see some of them start to head towards the women’s room when he starts to watch them. I even saw him ask a few for their phone numbers, and they said no and left because of it. I have never seen someone so unprofessional work here, and it’s sad because management seems to do nothing about it and let this behavior continue. Christopher is a problem at this gym and honestly I am about to cancel my membership or transfer locations because of him.

Went to this gym for a year, horrible customer service, was denied entry despite paying two VIP highest level memberships. Quitting is the right thing to do, find a better gym.

This is a great gym and the owner keeps the weight lifting machines working and over the years he’s updated the gym with new equipment. Most importantly the owner hired a great team of employees to take care of the place. They keep the bathroom clean and are always walking around the gym putting weights back where they belong. There’s a lot of people that come to this gym and they do their best to keep it organized. They always have a great attitude and do their best to answer any questions.

I had a horrible experience here. I use to workout here about 5 years ago and they have really slipped up on their business practices. Many red flags I saw in just two days. For starters, the assistant manager tried to pull a "bait-and-switch" sales tactic on me by offering me two weeks free but then he was going to charge me $40 a month. I got lucky because I heard another member was only paying $25 a month so I asked why I couldn't get the same? Aside from that, my first day working out, I noticed a gentleman being very rude to a fellow gym member. I very lovingly and graciously told him, " Hey, do not take this personally, but what you just did was very rude". The gentleman absolutely lost his mind and caused a huge scene in the gym, asking me if I wanted to go outside ? I told him no, I am working out. He still insisted we go outside, so I humored him, and went outside. The gentleman then proceeded to "fake punch" and lunged forward at me without phasing me. He then got scared, called me crazy, and drove off. When I told the assistant manager what happened two days later, he gave me attitude. I guess the management here never heard of the saying, " the customer is always right". I would steer clear of this place. Just being honest. - M

Youfit Taft has been my home for about 6 years now. Over the last year or so I’ve notice the gym moving in a positive direction. The gym is better organized, 100% cleaner and the staff is very professional. I believe these changes are due to the current manager. He appears to care about his customers and providing them with a better product. Keep up the great work and know that you and your staff are very much appreciated.

I love the new look. Amazing gym . Staff are great. Trainer look like they are knowledgeable. And the General Manager is very helpful. I love this gym deserve 10 stars !!!!!!!

The worst gym I have ever been to, be careful with your credit cards, they charge you without providing the services, in two months they took more than $700 dollars from me (I had to cancel my CC and the bank informed me that they were trying to charge me $68 daily) talking to the manager was impossible, I tried for two consecutive weeks and the girl in the front desk always told me that he wasn't there. To get rid of this damn gym I had to pay $89 more. Without a doubt it was the worst choice I have ever made.

Gary and the rest of the front desk staff were very welcoming and answered all of my questions regarding the various membership plans! Plus, the gym itself was squeaky clean from inside/outside! I saw several staff members constantly cleaning the gym and I find it amazing that the prices are super affordable for literally every equipment imaginable and the cleanliness of the facility. I’ve never seen a better gym!! Keep up the great work! Thank you!

I love this gym. Very clean, lots of machines, showers. I just wish it would be 24/7 for the people that have a higher membership with a keycard for us adults that take working out as a life style and not a place to hang out. I miss my 24/7 gyms. And they should add a sauna for all the gyms if they can’t do 24/7hours for the higher membership level peers. Kind regards.

I just started coming to this location. I changed from Amped because they were always so full I could never enjoy my workouts. At YouFit I always have machines available and everyone that works here is great!

Awesome gym, everyone that works here is super helpful and attentive to their clients. Everything is very clean and structured/organized. The one person who always seems to lighten up the place is Ailyn! She definitely brings great vibes to the environment and makes sure everyone has what they need. Love this place!

Hello, I’ve been a YouFit member for almost a year. My experience has been nothing but great. The team at YouFit makes me feel included. They always bring good energy. The boss is constantly making sure your good and making sure your enjoying your experience. Overall, this gym is my favorite and I recommend it to anyone in need of a gym.

Excellent dedicated staff. Very clean gym with obvious good upkeep on all machines and free weights. No rust anywhere to be seen. Never very crowded. Clean showers and locker room area. We drive 12 miles from sunrise go to this location

When I joined the Gym . I opted for the best membership because it included tanning. They have since taken out the Tanning booths and will not let me out of this membership and downgrade to the half price membership unless I pay a new membership fee.... I'm not happy with this

My wife and I will be moving to Florida. We are down here looking for a home and wanted a gym to work out in that was close to where we are going to live. Today...Adriane greeted me. What an incredible person at the front desk. He helped me get a 3 day pass to try it out. The place has all the gear I need. Great location too

This gym is extremely dirty. The bathrooms smell like urine. You can smell it in the hallways. Only two of the 5 stair master machines, work. Go somewhere else.

YouFit is a good gym. There is plenty of equipment and good customer service. YouFit has great classes and some good drinks and snack bar with healthy options. I’m a satisfied member and love being able to visit any YouFit, regardless where I am. YouFit has my vote.

My husband got me this gym membership and I’ve been coming consistently for about six months. From day one the staff were friendly and courteous always greeting me as a came in and waving as I left. The gym is super clean and since I’ve been here they’ve added more machines and a space for hiit cardio. Christopher D. Is awesome and always goes above and beyond to make the gym a friendly and safe place he greets everyone with a smile engages in genuine conversation and is always walking around the gym reracking weights and ensuring it remains clean. Highly recommend. Since I’ve been here my family members have joined and also have had the same experience. Ask for Chris to get started with your membership you won’t be disappointed.

Shout-out to Chris the front desk personnel. Always with a smile on and super welcoming made my first day experience at youfit super comfortable. The gym is also nice especially with all the update equipment. Wasn’t to sure about how to use certain ones, mentioned it to Chris and he was super helpful in showing me. I gave this a 5 star a couple of years ago. The gym has been renovated. I love this gym, never incredibly busy, weights always organized. However, the restroom (ladies) is BEYOND disgusting. I refuse to step in there unless it’s an emergency. I hope this review motivates management to keep up with the restrooms.

A great place to workout with a friendly atmosphere for sure!! This gym has a wide range of a variety of workout equipment that will suite most if not all of your needs!! Whoever the general manager is, he has done a phenomenal job coming in, keeping order a while being professional and generous to the members needs!! Overall awesome place which I call my second home!! 😊👍🏽

They probably have one, maybe two, of every machine and missing a lot of common gym equipment. I guess its okay for those who are just doing beginners/ maintenance workouts. I would suggest a gym walkthrough as I know other YouFits have much more equipment. Nice staff. Only bonus is that everything seems to be kept clean or you at least have the choice to clean everything before and after use.

Really good gym not only for the equipment and monthly charge but mostly for the amazing staffs. Everyone in the front desks is amazing including the manager Shama and the trainers. By far the best YouFit Gym in Broward.

I love this gym! It’s not a huge but it is very welcoming. Been coming here for about two years. Normally weekdays I go in the early mornings. On weekends I’ll go midday. Shama has been one of the main reasons I’ve been coming on weekends. She’s such a sweet, outgoing and enthusiastic person.
