So far waiting an hour and fifteen minutes in an environment with all scheduled patients including a patient saying she has recovered from COVID-19. Disorganized staff. Items being promoted everywhere with prices written on post-its.

Both my husband and son had issues of office incompetence with this doctor. While the doc himself seems like a nice guy, he spends hardly any time with the patient. The office workers rushed them out, forgetting a doctors note, that was asked for in one instance, and a 6 minute walk test in another, in order to get an oxegen release form. In both instances the office made them come back for another appointment expected to get paid for their own forgetfulness and rushing. My husband even witnessed another patient screaming at the staff before storming out, saying that all they’re interested in is getting paid. My friend also went to that office and had a similar experience. That was enough confirmation to look for a different doctor. Save yourself the aggravation!

The staff super nice and very polite, but the doctor is always in a rush not giving me any time to ask questions. Also, It is very concerning that in a pulmonologist office don’t take enough precautions to avoid spreading the virus. They are not taking the patient temperature, no hand sanitizers anywhere in the office, no bathroom in the office, and worst of all they don’t clean the rooms after each patient. It will be my first and last visit to this office, all they care is milk your insurance without working for it.

Staff has no manners. Terrible service over the phone specially by Caroline who was desperate to hang up the phone every time a question was asked. I have dealt with Dr. Juan Carlos Rodriguez before and he's great. However, you're as good as your weakest link and your staff, Caroline, needs to be properly trained to handle patient concerns. Remember that you provide a service, we the patients are what gets you paid. There are hundreds of choices I can go to and your office should be proud that patients choose you. I ask you to please reconsider the way your staff interacts with your patients or with anyone for that matter.

I have been to his office and tele medicine a couple of times in 2020. I find him to be rushing me and not listening or helping to resolve the problem or concern. His front desk staff is friendly and his PA is better than him. I don't know but these older doctors in South Florida need some type of customer service

THE WORST!! this is the worst doctors office i have ever dealt with! Sirst of all they cancelled my appointment two times without letting me know before! Second, i needed a prescription for my treatment and they cannot help me writing one for me even after seeing the doctor! My fist medication was declined by my insurance, so i asked for something similar, so i can get it under my insurance. Its been now 4 weeks since my appointment and i don’t have no treatment. I called couple of times and even texted them in the client portal! Its 6am right now and I’m writing this review because i woke up with an asthma attack again! Thank you to the office and the bad management

I called needing a new cpap machine due to my current one malfunctioning and was told I would have to wait over three weeks to see a doctor about getting it replaced. You would think this would be a serious issue. Suffice to say, I am switching offices today. Extremely rude and incompetent office. I just wanted to add that I am now a new patient with Dr. Ramirez of Miramar. They also did not have an available appointment until mid June but upon learning that I would go without cpap for such a long time, their office made sure I had an appointment for the next day. What a difference. My advice would be don't settle for this place based on proximity or other convenience. There's a reason their reputation is what it is on here. We all deserve better.

These people are incompetent. Didn’t review what my CT scan said, require patients to take a Covid test and then didn’t even bother asking to see the Covid test. I waited over an hour and the doctor literally spent 3 minutes with me. Diagnosis - you’re cough is because of Covid. You don’t say- that’s literally why I’m here…. Wouldn’t step foot in there again if they paid me. Oh and then the receptionist schedules my breathing appointment and tells me again I need to bring a negative Covid test. THEY MADE ME DO A TEST FOR THIS APPOINTMENT AND DIDN’T EVEN Ask TO SEE IT!!! Deeply regret giving these people my hard earned dollars. Oh btw - after reviewing my CT scan AT HOME - it showed I had a fractured rib- FRACTURED RIB. Guess the doctor didn’t even look at the results since he failed to communicate this to me. And no I didn’t have a fractured rib before- guess now I know why I had horrible chest pain.

Does not treat idiopathic hypersomnia(even if you have several sleep studies results and years of successful treatment records in hand form previous pulmonologist). If you are paying out of pocket be sure to verify you will recieve treatment before you pay the $170 office fee up front. I moved here from out of state and have been without my meds for months due to not being able to be seen quickly. If I hadn't asked the desk clerk to verify he would continue my treatment I would be out the money as well as time.

I didn’t even get to meet the doctor. The lady that was helping me make the appointment had a terrible attitude. In the end, I told them I just didn’t feel right about doing business with them. I don’t expect much from a doctor that has such an unprofessional staff.

Do not waste your time and money. In a consultation he does not explain sleep apnea.. What causes it. Or any informative details. When I got the sleep machine the consultation did not include knowing that I needed to get the full night rest and what could impact the results. In my final assessment he wanted to get away with just saying no you don’t have it but I had paid so much I asked questions like what causes sleep apnea, why didn’t my results work out etc. etc. I’m definitely a number and not a patient.

They were terrible to my husband they took $191 as a co+pay just to send him to do X-ray in another location. This is beyond disappointing and unprofessional they just want your money and don't even care to hear what your going through. It's easy to just give more referrals. Horrible place I wouldn't recommend these people ANYONE STAY AWAY!

Attempted to go to an appointment for bronchitis and shocked at the crowded waiting room and waiting time. Covid is high right now! We are already immunocompromised why would you have 10 people in waiting room? I've been in and out of drs and urgent cares in the last few weeks and they are have responsible with protocols.....how can this dr not care?

Appointment wasn't the best. Especially, when your doctor complains that you are complaining about medications that aren't working, and hangs up on you. Save your money.

THIS IS THE WORST OFFICE!!!!!!!! The 2 ladies that work at the front desk are not helpful at all it’s over 2months now since my husband did a sleep apnea test and he can’t get the results, they are very the worst !!!!! I will never return there or recommend anyone there ever

Efficient! Both Dr. and Staff. Dr. Rodriguez and staff worked with fickle insurance company to renew my CPAP coverage; they made it easy. More importantly... After a heart procedure, my cardiologist consulted with Dr. Rodriguez's analysis of possible pulmonary involvement. He was prepared and answered all my questions. Very straight forward answers with total respect.

BE WARE OF OVER CHARGING! - Visited Dr. Juan Carlos Rodriguez office for an appointment and then scheduled a time to pick up test equipment - when dropping in to pick up the equipment on scheduled day they insisted many times I must pay a co-pay (like it was a doctor consultation) but I was just there to pick up equipment - after an hour of contacting my insurance company and talking with the office manager stating the sleep test was covered 100% they finally gave me the equipment without the $80 co-pay - be ware!

Horrible. From the moment I walked in I was irritated. There was no greeting whatsoever. This appointment was part of a follow up after being hospitalized for a week and as a specialist, this is the Dr who saw me while I was in the hospital not knowing-they charge separately from the hospitals bills. I was told I had a significant balance due however was not aware nor was I aware that I couldn’t be seen even though I offered to pay some of it. Beyond disgusted by the total lack of empathy and inability to provide some flexibility for patients who were just hospitalized!
