This was the absolute worst experience I have EVER had at a hotel. I stayed here with my wife and three small children because we were flying out at 7 am the next day, and it has a great location and a shuttle to the airport. The night before we left, I went to return my rental car so I wouldn't 't have to in the morning. I was told to call the front desk when my car was returned, and they would send the shuttle. Easy enough. After I returned my car, I called the front desk, and he assured me the shuttle was coming (here is where the fun begins). After an hour and a half of no shuttle and seeing every other hotel send a shuttle, I called back to the front desk. After the phone rang at least 10-20 times, the guy at the front desk would pick up and tell me he could not hear me and hung up on me multiple times. I called my wife, who could hear me perfectly fine, and told her to call the front desk to get me a shuttle so I could move on with my life. The front desk assured her a shuttle was on the way, but after another 45 minutes, they called me and told me I would have to get an Uber because a shuttle was not available. I really wish this was the end of the story. However, after spending two hours waiting for a shuttle and finally getting back to my room, I came back to my wife and kids frightened because we were having a hillbilly episode of Jerry Springer right outside our room where the pool is located. The pool was supposed to close by sundown, but here we were with these people getting intoxicated, swearing, arguing, and keeping everyone up well into the night. My wife called the front desk to have them removed. Initially, they left, but throughout the night, they kept screaming in the halls. When we woke up at 4 am to go to the airport, one of them was drunk and on God knows what else, sitting by the pool like he was possessed. It was truly a terrible experience for my whole family. I also do not like to post negative reviews, but when you show absolutely no regard for your guests, the least I can do is let the world know.

We arrived very early after a post cruise stay. Front desk allowed us to have breakfast before it was removed and then allowed us to store our luggage in a private room until the rooms were available. One room became available very quickly. We spent the day up on the terrace pool and enjoyed the beautiful weather. From entering this hotel to the shuttle the next morning at 4:30 AM, we were thoroughly impressed with the courtesy and cleanliness. The Dove products were a welcome change from the small toiletries other hotels offer. Thank you for all you did for us !

Not a good or clean option if you fly into FLL. We arrived at 6:30 PM to the airport, and called to get the airport shuttle. After many attempts of being unable to reach anyone, the front desk clerk finally answered, but then put me on an endless hold. We had to give up and take a taxi. Then the checking in process was quite slow, with only one front desk clerk. The room smelled musty, had a long tear in one of the sheets, had a loose toilet seat, and had a wad of human hair in the other bed. Overall, the hotel infrastructure and experience reminded me of an old Super 8. We have stayed at six different hotels in the Fort Lauderdale airport area, and this was the worst yet. I would not consider staying here again. Even if they had more staff, the layout and condition of the property is undesirable. Given that you can’t get anyone to take you anywhere with the shuttle, and without a car, there aren’t any decent food options near the hotel within walking distance, so we had to have a dinner of crackers from the vending machine. The hotel claims there is a brewpub nearby within walking distance, but when I called them they said they were so busy they couldn’t do takeout orders. They hotel also claims there is a Mexican restaurant within walking distance, but they close at 8 PM.

Hotel was clean, comfortable, a little luxurious even. Breakfast was delicious, omelette bacon and sausage, yogurt toast muffins & bagels, and fruit. Linda was delightful! Pool was small, but relaxing. The fitness center looked fairly updated with 5+ machines. For the price and location near the cruise port and airport you cannot beat it! A variety of delicious restaurants were in walking distance. Shuttle service was handy, but make sure you book a seat for the morning to make it to the airport/cruise port, as these must be reserved at check in!

It's hard to give a review. Short-handed due to Covid. We stayed one night before our cruise, so good place to just lay your head. No frills, shuttle from the airport never showed up even after a couple of calls and an hour and a half wait. Hotel people were very friendly and courteous.

Ended up switching to this Hotel after booking at another one that was way more expensive. When I arrived, I quickly realized this was most definitely the better option. They had been booked out from the boat show and I was early from disembarking my cruise that morning. They didn’t have early check in because they had been so busy which I completely understood. They were able to get us a room almost two hours earlier than check in and had great customer service. They let us check our bags in when we got there in the morning so we didn’t have to lug them around with us. Room was very nice and clean and they have great prices. Pool was on the floor we were staying on (4th) which was neat because we didn’t have people walking by the hotel on the bottom floor who could see us.

First impressions are a must and this hotel did not hit the mark. We called for the shuttle when we exited our plane and they told us where to go to wait. The shuttle never showed and when we called to get a status no one answered. An nice gentleman shuttling for the same hotel but different location noticed we were standing for a while and offered to take us to our hotel. Our room was ready when we arrived, however, the toilet was broken and there was hair in both beds. We called the front desk, and they sent in housekeeping who seemed very annoyed by our complaints. We went to the front desk and requested a new room, and they were able to switch us...only to find stained bed sheets. We tried calling the front desk about this but the phone was broken. Went downstairs and asked for a replacement sheet and they stuck it in our room while we went to dinner. Air conditioning was hit or miss all night and everyone was stuffy. Overall we were completely disappointed and glad that we only had to spend one night. I would not recommend this for an extended stay.

Not a bad hotel for a quick stay. The customer service is a hit or miss though. We had the same person who checked us in at night and was extremely rude and cold back up front in the morning but with a different attitude. The room was spacious but no hair dryer (weird I know!) close to the airport with shuttle service which be aware to always call and check ahead for the schedule. Breakfast was simple but had plenty of options.

Nice hotel but could use some more updating rather than just surface things. Stayed before and after a cruise trip. Airport shuttle was nice but took a while after calling to come. All the wall outlets in both rooms we stayed in would barely hold a plug on their own as if they were loose. And some things in one of our bathrooms were broken.

Perfect location before going on a cruise. Friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet is very decent and kept well stocked by the lovely lady in charge. The rooms are very clean and serviced well. Only negative point is the very dated carpets.

So expensive for a very mediocre room. Usually love their beds but these were pretty firm. Still had the pillows we know and love. About 10 minutes drive to the airport. Parking spaces in the parking garage are tight and the building is shared with apartments so your key card is necessary even for entering the elevator.

Heat did not work in room. When we called the desk about this they sent a man in to turn it on then turn it back off. It then stopped after 2 minutes. We called back one or two more times to get this fixed and the man at the front desk was extremely rude, telling us again to turn it off then back off again. When going down in the only working elevator, it sounds like you are running over a person. The breakfast had low quality food and when I asked if the pancake machine was working, a worker yelled “no pancakes.” The location was terrible compared to the other express cruise port hotel which had lots of food and shopping options. We did not mean to book this site, and meant to be at the other. Any form of communication with any staff was met with attitude.

Clean room! Appropriately stocked, good and varied breakfast (the cheese omelet was a fun surprise). Alexia was a dream! She was pleasant and diligently interfaced with housekeeping for the many requests for early check-ins (one such "requestor" was impossibly difficult, even hostile). I marveled at her ability to juggle so many demands and moods -- definitely a pro! Andre was another gem of the property. Professional and kind, he gave solid restaurant recommendations and makes it clear that his guests are in the right place. What a great non-official host. He and Alexia are excellent faces of Holiday Inn Express Dania Beach!

Great hotel for one night. There's a pool. There's a gym. Close to the airport. Good breakfast. But! The women who clean the rooms! They don't let you sleep! There is a sign hanging - I am busy, women walk in the door. 😡 Women talking very loudly! Long and loud conversations. Management! Talk to the women who clean, you should talk at home! The hotel should be cleaning rooms and working not yelling when others are sleeping! 😡

Stayed here for one night during a weekend golf trip. Absolutely amazing staff. They were friendly, accommodating, and informative about the area. The room was more than enough to just sleep in for the night. Bed was very comfortable. Room was able to get nice and cold. The only negatives were about the bathroom. Might have been nice to have a toothbrush and toothpaste already in the bathroom, rather than needing to ask the front desk about it. The other is that shower pressure was very low, it ramped up slightly as it ran but it was noticeably weaker than most showers. I would still stay here again if I go back to the Ft Lauderdale area.

Excellent customer service at the desk, breakfast, and shuttle rides! Room was a little dated (I believe they’re remodeling) but very clean and well stocked. It was a convenient location, and everyone was so nice and helpful.

The hotel is convenient. Close to Ft Lauderdale airport. It has shuttle service to the airport. There is a good Italian restaurant called Pauli's that delivers to the hotel and the food is really good. Got the lasagna and it was delicious, it comes with homemade garlic bread. There are menus in the room.

We had a pretty bad experience at this hotel. Our room was infested with Ghost Ants. And I don’t mean just a few of them in the room… they were crawling all over the fridge, everywhere in the bathroom, near our bed on the nightstands, counters, EVERYWHERE. The concierge was less than helpful, letting us know that they had no other available rooms and there isn’t much they could do for us but spray for bugs. They then proceeded to spray our room with Raid (harsh chemicals) and there’s no way to vent the room. The person spraying it even wore a mask but we were expected to stay and sleep in the room with the chemicals. This is all after we checked in at 11:30pm after driving 11 hours. It was a disgustingly horrible experience and I do not recommend this hotel. They gave us a whopping $50 off of our room that wasn’t cheap to begin with. Very unhappy with the customer service!

This is a nice hotel, I would have given it a 5 star if it wasn't for the issues below: I arrived a bit after the scheduled check in time of 3pm, my room was not ready until 30 minutes later. There was only one functioning elevator and it was extremely slow. During breakfast there was a server due to pandemic restrictions which I understand but she was the only one there every morning trying to serve everyone by herself. We requested room service for two days straight, only to return to our room both evenings to see no one came to service the room, but they were quick to bring what we needed to the room after calling the front desk.

Mr. Mop head this dude is holding had more personality than him. Very rude arrived at 10:00am after getting off cruise. We were first ones to get in our room after 3:00pm. They're doing renovations it wasn't on all floors. Not a place I would ever stay again.

Front desk staff VERY helpful and very nice. 10/10 Andrena is a pearl! Room was reasonably clean 8/10. Breakfast is a disaster where you can "eat the food but you can't touch it!" They are stuck in the COVID era so someone has to pick and make up your plate at a self serve! And to top it off, that person is a grumpy lady that is not happy to be doing her job. Air port shuttle is free which is nice but make sure to schedual it at least 30 minutes earlier than you need because ours was 27 minutes late.

this hotel is the hotel I have slept the most in. Out of the 48hrs here I slept 30 so I can attest to the bed being very comfortable. that's because we bought this flight 3 hours before take off after partying all night (so I'm behind on sleep) and I only brought my purse. very adventurous and also very silly. I heard a guy yell to the staff in the lobby earlier that his room wasn't ready, I wondered if he's adventurous.

The rooms are nice and clean, the rooftop pool is awesome! We did have a little misunderstanding on the parking situation....we explained that we needed the shuttle to the airport and would be leaving our vehicle at the hotels parking garage. They explained parking was included in the price when we called to book reservations, but then we had to pay $10/day to leave our car there.

My wife and I had a flight cancellation tonight and had to find a hotel for the night. So we booked this hotel through your Southwest Airlines account. Front desk lady was very nice told us this was airport shuttle which came and got us. As we entered into our room and turned the light on we noticed roaches on the tv stand. I contacted the front desk and made here aware of the matter she said that she could come up and spray which doesn’t make me feel good because who wants to sleep in a room with roaches. I immediately contacted another hotel and my wife and I left. We got to the Holiday Inn around 9:20-9:30 and to check out around 10:15 because of the roaches in the room which was room 411. The front desk lady said to call back tomorrow and ask for Manager Andre to make him aware of the matter and to get full refund I’m also going to contact Southwest Airlines to make them aware so they can contact the hotel. Very disappointed about this matter.

The male front desk person was rude. My debit card was charged in full for the stay prior to my arrival, but the front desk man claimed "your card has to have a chip so it can be read and you need to sign"...... I explained to him that my debit card was already charged in full and I told him to just swipe it. If I didn't stand up for myself, who knows what would've happened. I probably would've got charged twice or I would've had nowhere to stay. This hotel's website clearly states that debit cards are accepted as a form of payment, so I don't know why this man was trying to give me a hard time. About the hotel and the room: it's not worth $130. It's very outdated. The AC wasn't working properly. I noticed the pillows on the bed were dirty. The room has a weird smell. The vending machine wasn't working and it stole my dollar, so I had no water and was very thirsty. The bathroom looks run down. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone and I won't be returning. The only good part of this was the airport shuttle when I was checking out. The airport shuttle man was very nice to me and got me to the airport on time for my flight back home.

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any room. They compare hundreds of booking web sites and typically will have rates a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is the best rated in the area. I've been coming here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you definitely won't regret it. Pleasantly surprised, needed to stay over 1 night unexpectedly. They had a shuttle from/to the airport, staff was very courteous, room was clean, coffee and amenities and breakfast was real bacon, eggs, waffles, coffee... Definitely recommend staying there 1 or more nights.

Honestly it's not the best room but it could be better. There was a stain on curtain and wall. The faucet is confusing because one minute it's cold the other is burning also it doesn't have the red and blue thing that says cold and hot. Also we went to book a hotel room and we were there at 12:00 pm and we were not able to get there until 3:30. It was hard to open the door and when we went to the pool there were windows where anyone can see. But the pool was fun. Also I liked the breakfast buffet they had really good options and the lady was nice. The room had a microwave and a decent size fridge.

The rooms were clean, the staff was nice. It was exactly what I needed for a night. Only downside was being able to hear someone sneeze next door---not very sound proof. But a good stay overall.

Check in was fantastic and the staff when we arrived were amazing, they went above and beyond and I'm kicking myself now that i cannot remember the name of the front desk receptionist because she was exceptional! Our check out experience however, was the exact opposite. Beginning with our hotel provided shuttle to the airport that was scheduled the day before for 6:30am was not ready when we checked out. We were forced to call an uber to make it to the airport in time for our flight. Secondly, there was an excursion scheduled that morning whose bags were being staged by a holiday Inn staff member directly in front of the main entrance/exit blocking anyone from coming in or going out. The staff ignored my request to get through to check if our uber was there so i had to push my way through the 15+ bags to get out. By the time our Uber arrived it was 6:50am and the shuttle still wasn't ready so we're 20+ minutes late at this point. Thankfully, we were quick to get checked in and through TSA so we didn't have any problems catching our flight. This check out and shuttle experience has by far topped our list of some of the worst experiences at a hotel. If it wasn't for the staff at check in I would most certainly be rating this hotel zero stars!

ALL staff was helpful and professional. The lady manager helped me to make sure my airline ticket was correct as I left abruptly because of my room mate. I stayed Friday through Monday. Loved Linda! she helped at the breakfast line. Breakfast was really good. With in walking distance is a Steak/seafood restaurant ice cream restaurant and dollar store further. Coin washer and dryer on same floor key entry)clean room. Shampoo conditioner and body wash that was in the shower was really nice! Comfortable pillows and bed! Little fridge microwave tv air conditioning. Secure car garage. Guy that drove me to the airport was also security. I felt safe with him. He was friendly and professional. Good people! 🥰

I got there a day earlier and asked to utilize their garage which was very nice of them to allow me to stay. But when I got to stay in my room the bed was so uncomfortable I opted to sleep in my car again that night. The room was clean and immaculate and everything worked well for my mother and aunt whom stayed in the room. I would choose to come back again no problem just hope I can find a more comfortable bed.
