Food court - you can taste a variety of food from several stalls. This place is better than Padang Kota cause it is not too crowded and cheaper. Taste wise, just so so. Sate ok, but relatively small. Mi sotong ok - the sotong's portion quite big. Pasemboq ok. However, the kuetiaw that we tapau was tasteles 😅. Good place to try many kinds of Penang food.

Returned here four years later. Here, I adore the steamed cockles and pasembor. The pasembor sauce has a good blend of sweetness and spice. Plus, the cockles are fresh. The workers is very attentive, the services are quick, and during our dinner hour—which begins after Maghrib—a Malay uncle performs. He was, in my opinion, a legendary performer at this Padang Brown Food Court. While some shops now accept payments using tngwallet and QR codes, some still only take cash. For the sake of the customers, I hope that this situation will be improved.

I had a very unpleasant encounter with this particular stall. Went there back in 2021 and never returned ever since. 😩 There is a lot of options but be aware of what you are taking and the price as well.

Good food, great service and atmosphere. Travelling from UK and great to find a halal Hawker joint. Loved the Satay!

Halal Food court, a few repeated stores, Pasembor, Mee Goreng, sup daging are good but not outstanding..

The food court has variety of food you can choose from. They will invite you to their shop although you are free to sit at anywhere and buy from any shop. Once you sit, few people will surround your table and ask for your order. It's a bit crowded and you don't have enough time to see the menu and know what food they serve. If i were the seller, i will just leave the menu at the table and write your shop number then customers can come and order at your shop. The mee sotong was nice but a bit spicy. The ABC was delicious too with ice cream topping and syrup flavour. I wish we have more space for more food since i want to taste the pasembor too.. Price is affordable.

Paid parking, limited. Try to go during non-peak hours. Paid-toilet. Decently maintained. Mini playground for children. Ample "field" for them to run around. Major seating area is covered. Variation of food and drinks provided by multiple sellers. They are good quality and reasonably priced (though not the best). Not my preferred "makan-makan" spot. However, from time to time, I would come here (to refresh the old sweet memories).
