The food is cheap, coffee is nice and the aunty at the counter is friendly, but the food was not the best. We ate because we were hungry, char siew was harder than rock candy

Dishes we had: - Roasted Chicken with flavoured rice - Char Siew - Crispy Roasted Pork - Bitter gourd egg The roasted chicken was slightly dry, but flavourful. Nothing special there. The chat Siew was well marinated and evenly toasted. But the seasoning was a tad too sweet. However, the gravy was savory which unfortunately clashed a little with the meat marinate. For me, the star was the crispy roasted pork, which was not too salty, but we'll seasoned. The meat was not too fatty, and the skin was crispy. The bittergourd egg was unique dish. The bittergourd and egg blended well together and stewed with their stock such that the egg was runny and the bittergourd smooth. The seasoning was well balanced. All in all, a good place for a decent meal. The portion was huge, hence the price was affordable.But they could clean the floors a little more, and turn the music down more. It felt like I was eating chicken rice in a night club.

Went there for lunch couple of days ago. I've ordered some roasted pork and BBQ pork and mixed soup. Kinda dissatisfied with the roasted pork and BBQ pork as their textures were too dry not juicy at all. It's almost kinda like preserved meat. The mixed soup also abit bitter in taste. I think this is a one-time thing for me.

Food are good except not for bitter gourd fried with egg and the chai boey. Price are reasonable but shop are very hot,sweating while eating,got Aircon but dint switch on

The roasted pork skin is quite hard for me and quite small in my opinion. There is much better out there. The chilli sauce very watery … can make it thicker .. I only tasted water so far Overall good to eat if no choice.

This is another Chinese Restaurant which sell.Chinese dishes like hong Kong styles. Nice.

My favourite chicken rice/noodle place EVER! I'm not from penang but I try to make it a point to come here whenever I'm visiting. They just do things all properly, i.e they remove the bones from the meat, they separate sauce from noodles if you pack, meaty wantons, never overcooked meat, amazing pickled chili. Just simply wonderful.

It's below average, charsiew too lean , roasted pork is also lean whereas the skin is totally not crispy.

Nice chicken rice around Sg Ara area. Not much expensive compare to normal hawker stall but the taste is definitely good.

The floor of the restaurant was very greasy and I almost fell over several times. The staff don't care about the hygiene here. Ordering is very confusing and if it is your first time, you have no idea how to order. But the taste of the food is ok and the price is right.

Used to be above average here. But recent visit on Tuesday was a disaster and we will not be coming back nor recommend anyone trying. The lady at counter is not very welcoming, the attitude was kinda rude. But it’s okay we don’t come here to expect excellent customer service. However when we discovered there is a worm inside the chaiboay, then we tell the lady at the counter. She say yea that’s probably a vegetable worm with straight face without any apology or compensation. By the way, we pay to order an extra soup, and she still charge me the worm soup. As if it’s normal to consume or have it in their food. I understand it can happens sometimes, i don’t blame on the little tiny worm. It’s about how she handle our feedback. Thanks for the experience
