This
is
my
old
local
from
my
farming
days.
not
been
there
for
about
30
years
or
more.
I
was
recommended
it
for
a
sunday
lunch
so
i
took
my
mother
there
as
everywhere
else
was
booked
up.
we
went
there
as
a
party
of
three.
We
ordered
a
beef,
lamb
and
pork
sunday
lunch.
If
my
mother
loved
it,
it
must
have
been
good.
An
excellent
round
of
steamed
veg,
fresh
workshire
pudding
and
thick
slices
of
meat
with
a
thick
tasty
gravy.
Two
weeks
later,
i
am
on
my
own
and
feeling
hungry,
i
called
in
for
a
meal
for
one.
Again,
all
the
food
was
fresh,
tasty
and
plentyful.
I
had
the
roast
beef
and
for
£12,
this
is
ultimately
the
best.
I
was
tempted
to
do
a
toby
carvery
en-route
but
for
the
same
price
nearly,
the
red
lion
produces
a
far
better
and
superior
product
that
Toby.
I
highly
recommend
this
for
the
sunday
roast.
the
meal
is
alot
bigger
than
the
other
local
pubs,
far
tastier
and
more
quantity,
