A marvellous experience! This "island" is a great place to make a photo trip. Rock formations, a secluded fishermen cove, a lone dramatic chapel, a desolate rock to discover, the cobbled streets... What a spot, so much history, what a discovery!...

Amazing place. Two beaches in one place. Good place for surfers but also for families as the sides of the beaches have calm water, ideal for small kids Rock formations are exquisite

A cute little island with a few restaurants and cafes. The views from the northern “rocky” part are very nice 🌅

Wonderful holiday location! Gorgeous seaside, great waves for surfing, nice people, good food options (only the public transport is really bad), but overall I had amazing time visiting.

Nice spot for surfing beginners and intermediate surfing amateurs, because there is so many surf schools. I was there after season, so I could arrange lesson without booking in advance. Very nice spot to walk around or stop for some food and drinks. You can spend whole day here and still have something to do.

Awesome views!!! We were very happy we stopped here on our way to Nazare, which didn’t have such nice views as Peniche did.

The beaches connects to an island by a short road. This island is not to be missed as it has spectacular rock formations

Been to the public beach of Baleal. Big and busy on summer days. There are two sides of the beach. Wind conditions can be different. Must visit both.
