It's the lighthouse or the first light in Europe that sailors see from the Atlantic Ocean. Beautiful imposing structure that is a few tens of metres from the most famous and visited Cabo de Roca

Stunning rocks creating a picturesque landscape, including a white lighthouse seems to be in a film

Beautiful surroundings, impressive limestone coast, not crowded with tourists - really an amazing spot to visit, to see the coast, to see nice stone formations. The lighthouse is still active, so cannot be visited. But in essence, it’s more about seeing the coast, so definitely worth a visit!

Spectacular setting and views! My two observations are that there wasn't enough signage about how unique the geology of the area is, and also that there are virtually no rails, supports, or other means of preventing the public from injury, either minor or major! I realize that this might be a cultural difference with me, but some types of handholds and supports should be inexpensive and very useful.

We could not go in the lighthouse but the area around it was worth the drive.

The lighthouse itself is nothing special - although the history of the Cape as an ancient safe anchorage is interesting. But the surrounding cliffs and bird life are spectacular!

Great viewpoint but no access to the lighthouse. Had a picnic on the headland and watched dolphins and birds. Just missed being soaked by a big wave sp beware.

Nice place to have a view of of the coastline and lighthouse. Parking is free. Take some lunch as there is not much there if you want to relax. Be careful around the cliff edges. Children and dogs should be well looked after. Overall a nice place to stop and drive the coastline.

The lighthouse poses a great landmark and has fantastic views, especially during sunrise and sunset. I think that there are some wildcamping spots to the southeast of the lighthouse, and there is a hiking trail running along the stunning cliffs towards the north

Very beautiful place with amazing landscapes. If the weather allows, you will be able to see the Berlengas Island. The restaurant or coffee that is there, seems to be closed. There is place to park the car in several places and this is free.

Great spot to see the cliffs of Peniche at the point and Berlinga Islands in the distance. If you look closely upon descending the stairs, there are ladders to near water. 👍

Perfect location to enjoy a spectacular sunset. Best view over Berlenga island. Parking area needs updating, maybe add a picnic area with seats and tables.

Although a nice scenic spot. The restaurant was closed in dilapidated condition. Probably for redevelopment. Few Kms along the coast there are several other alternatives.

You need to come here to check the view, hear the sea against the rocks and, most of all, watch the sunset. Totally worth the visit.
