Unexpectedly quite good. Food was tasty all around. Sausage and fries particularly good. A few craft beers available (Central Guachiman, Casa Bruja Chivoperro, Lagunitas IPA).

For expats and visitors: How can it be we are so lucky to have a place like Gambrinus in Penonomé?! The food is always great, the service attentive, and quality, hands-down, some of the best I've received in my 10+ years living in Panama. No greasy, fat ladden burgers here! The beer selection is fantastic and the atmosphere pleasant. This place is one for the record in Panamá. Great job!

Great place for a quick lunch. In the menu you'll find wings, burgers, fries, pastas and local specials changed daily. I really enjoyed the Western potatoes and meatless version of Cesar salad. They also offer huge variety of crafts beers, alcohol drinks and homemade ice creams.

My first trip here was a 3 star experience. My burger was fast and tasty. But I ordered another beer and wings from the bus boy. The beer came fast, but after waiting about 3 times the time for the burger I asked for the check. Within a minute the wings showed up. The wings were over cooked (is that even possible?) and the fries were cold. I'm talking out of the fridge cold. I returned a second time and again my burger was reasonably fast and tasty. So I upgraded to a 4 star. I may upgrade to a 5 star in the future, after I again ask for some additional food that arrives in a reasonable time.

Tasty burgers and solid menu, an interesting variety of local beers, great music choice, relaxed open terrace. If you are in Penonomé, this is a great place for lunch or dinner. Especially delicious was the currywurst and the rockin roll wrap.

Service was little slow but friendly and good food.
