Literally the best hotel we've ever stayed and we have stayed at more expensive places. The staff is SO VERY friendly and the service is top notch!! We stayed here for an entire week and literally do not have one single complaint. The food was great and the food service ladies were so helpful and friendly. The front desk servers for so polite and friendly. The kindest of all was a man there hanging wall paper struck up a conversation and when we said how nice our visit at the hotel was he attributed it the "Great General Manager" which says a lot! Oh yeah the beds were the most comfortable we'd ever slept in and the rooms were VERY clean and we got cleaning every day while we were there. Thanks again to the staff for giving us a great stay!!

Great experience at the Holiday Inn Express In Pensacola Downtown. The hotel was clean and all the staff we encountered was friendly. The daily included breakfast was a nice addition. However, there are many other cafes and restaurants nearby. We usually walked to dinner in the downtown area. The room was comfortable and spacious as well. Would definitely stay there again.

Visited this hotel for a wedding and it was great, I have been to multiple holiday inn express all around the country and this one by far the best! Staff was extremely friendly from letting us checking super early to always greeting us and asking if anything was need. Their breakfast buffet is good and has a good variety and options to chose from. They also offer delicious cookies and popcorn in the afternoon. The hotel has a lot of useful information and flyers of things to do while in area. Walk ability is also a high point of this hotel, there are restaurants, shops, bars and museums nearby. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The best experience! The staff was more than friendly, they were welcoming in a way that made you feel like family. The breakfast has plentiful offerings. The facility is super clean. I noticed the staff cleaning and sanitizing the common areas regularly. I've traveled to Pen often; yet, this was my first time staying at this hotel. I'm a convert now....I'll be booking there hence forward. The cleanliness, location and amenities make this hotel a great choice; but, the customer service makes its superb! Btw, Vanessa in the cafe is the best!!!

Great location, most of the staff is friendly and keeps the main spaces very clean. The breakfast is great and a nice bonus. The rooms refrigerator and microwave are not very functional especially for longer stays. I would consider rebooking here on my next visit

My stay was great! The people working in the front desk were nice, The room was clean with an updated appearance and breakfast was entertaining with a nice display and fresh pancake maker. The only downfall of my stay was that it was raining hard the day I checked in and parking was in the back of the building across the street with no overhang so I was extremely wet and cold in the month of December. Also The parking lot as well as the customer parking was not well lit so I did not feel 100% safe walking back to the hotel in the rain from my car.

Hot breakfast and plenty of it. Staff was super nice. Everyone was pleasant and liked their job and especially their boss (I asked). The hotel was clean and convenient to downtown. I love the manager! I can't wait to go back again.

One of the best Holiday Inn Express hotels I have ever stayed at. Beautiful location downtown, in walking distance of several museums, restaurants, and bars. Beautiful views. Friendly staff and clean, updated interiors. A wonderful place to stay while visitint Pensacola.

Great place to stay. Conveniently located within walking distance of all attractions downtown, and don't forget about the entire staff. From the front door check-in to room cleaning to the most friendly breakfast crew our stay was excellent!!!!! We will be back again. Thanks to everyone involved with our stay.

Great location. Easy access to downtown. No extra charge for parking. Friendly staff. They even provide cookies and popcorn during the day. The breakfast is included with your stay and always has good options. My only complaint are the pillows are too flat for my liking.

I've spent way more nights in motels/hotels than I had ever wished or wanted to and I have to say that the Holiday Inn Express in downtown Pensacola was in many ways one of the nicer places I've stayed. The room was clean and roomy with all the amenities including a safe! The staff were exceptional and friendly, especially the morning breakfast personnel. The entrance sneeks up on you so go slow and look for the "Entrance" sign! Loading/unloading luggage is not right in front but it's manageable. Parking is good, and I'm always concerned about that, but the area is lit and I saw frequent police patrols. It's in downtown Pensacola so that is a huge plus because there is so much to see and do, especially if you like to eat, drink, and shop. There are art galleries, jewelry stores, live music, wine and beer cafes, boutiques, etc. The hotel, the location, and the safe feeling makes it easy to give this IHG Motel 5-Stars. My children are grown but it is indeed a family friendly place also! Enjoy the free popcorn and cookies!!!

Great location downtown. Can walk to all the great shops and restaurants. Plenty of parking. The rooms and common spaces are clean, well kept up. The people working are fantastic and so nice! We bumped into Roy several times, and he is a gem of positivity! Keep up the fantastic work!

Great location. Just a short ride from airport. Walking distance to restaurants and bars. Nice appearance and well kept. Friendly and welcoming staff. Egg patties were great to make a breakfast sandwich. Very little noise and AC worked well. Slept great. Only negative, just a little pricey.

Everything from the housekeeping, the food to the front desk was wonderful! I've never met such friendly staff at ANY hotel. You are all so sweet. Always have a smile on and we're very helpful if I needed anything. Next time I come back to Florida, I'll be staying here.

Excellent hotel conveniently located walking distance from everything downtown. Everything was very clean and the customer service was exceptional. The rooms are comfortable and clean. They had free popcorn and cookies, and a free breakfast. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, but it was good enough and free, so no complaints.

Had a 3-night stay for a wedding in Seville Square and Quarter and absolutely loved this location as it was walking distance to everything wedding related or not. So many good and entertainment options in the area, and also right off the bridge to Pensacola Beach. The beds are mighty comfortable, rooms and common spaces neatly cleaned, and the complimentary breakfast offers a nice spread of warm and cold options. Front end staff are also cheerful. Complimentary cookies and popcorn in the lobby daily. No hot tub/spa.

PROS: The breakfast was fantastic for an "included" amenity. They had a pancake machine, as well as sausage and biscuits. Usually a "continental" breakfast is cereal and maybe a cold pastry. Not so with this place! The room was fairly comfortable. The lobby was nice and had free popcorn and cookies. The proximity to everything downtown was great! CONS: The sink stopper in the bathroom was stuck shut. Maintenance responded fairly quickly, but then stayed in the room working on it for 30 minutes, even after I told them to just remove the stopper and don't worry about making the stopper lever functional. Also, the air conditioner sounded like an aircraft engine starting up. Kept us from sleeping well at night, but it was a booked weekend and very busy. As such, other rooms were not available. Someone had left a bag of rotting trash in the overflow parking area and even after I told the front desk, no one ever cleaned it up. This made every visit to the parking lot a challenge to avoid the smell. OVERALL we still enjoyed the stay, especially since it was the Blue Angels weekend.
