We have been coming here for years and it is always a good experience. My wife got a piece of fried chicken that was still raw in the middle. But we understand this happens. We notified our server, they promptly took care of it. I'm still giving a good review as this has never happened before all the years we were coming here. We will still come back as the food here is fantastic and a clean environment. The fried chicken was perfect on our next trip to the bar.

They reopened the doors last week. I went in yesterday ... my friend took us there for lunch because we had not seen each other for a long time. We were both extremely disappointed.😔😔 No shrimp or steak and the food was like canned or frozen tasted. The broiled fish, meatloaf, & white sauce cheese pizza was cold!! Terrible tasting meatloaf too!! 😕 The price was good for senior citizens except when she went to leave to take her friends two meals back Let It Go orders cost about $7 a pound! Two orders with two deserts and no drinks came to over $30! That really topped off at her experience as bad. It definitely is not like it used to be and I don't usually grade the slow ... but it's the truth. Not the Golden Corral we remember. Only reason it got a 2 was be cause our waitress was OUTstanding!! A young African American with her thick pretty hair on top of her head & behind her mask... a beautiful smile!!.

Its a clean Golden Corral with plenty of food. Five stars for being a great example of a Golden Corral with plenty of food choices and quick service at our table. Fried chicken on point! On most of my visits, the crowd has been polite and forming an orderly line for the food. Some buffets get wild and crowded, by this location has consistently had a good crowd.

Update: Just left Golden Corral stuffed to no end. Wish I had not esten so much that I have to pull off at McDonalds to go to the bathroom...and not to take a bath. The food was great and plentiful. Blueberry pie. Pecan pie, chocolate cake, ice cream. A plate of beans, rice, and fish. Before that a plate of spinach, potato salad, and beets Never ending array of foods. Then I see them cooking 2 inch steaks for the dinner meal. I did get a photo but they are cooked. Wish I had taken a photo before they got cooked. Take a look at the evening meal.

Overall facility is old, but kept fairly clean. Service overall is good; never had a bad service experience, but mostly average or a little above However, I must say the food quality has really been on a constant down slope for the past year. If your looking for some grub, GC will fill the bill, but I can't say you should expect the food offerings to be made with a little love and care.

I went a couple months ago and had an overall good experience. The food was great. I am not one to leave reviews but this place is the exception. I went yesterday and it was AWEFUL.There was hardly any food. When food was finally put out it was cold. They even served raw chicken and raw fish. This place used to be great and has really gone down hill lately. Also why have an ice cream machine if it's always down. This is Golden Corral not McDonald's.

As a family it's nice to go here when we can't decide what we're in the mood to eat. I love the salad bar selection & the fact that there's a lot of veggies on the buffet. Their marinated steak, cooked to order is super tender & flavorful. Of course there's many options for protein, from meatloaf to grilled & fried chicken, and the dessert selection is on point. The carrot cake & pecan pie are my favorite. The only thing I was disappointed with was the greens...they were bitter & didn't have much flavor. Otherwise, everything else was delicious. The wait staff is always really nice & keeps our table bussed so plates don't pile up. The buffet staff is great at keeping the buffet stocked & fresh.

Everyone loved the food. Options for me were limited- because I can't eat salads or many raw foods- to fruits, vegetables, pasta, and desserts but I found a lot I could eat. The brussel sprouts and broccoli were very overcooked- I wouldn't have needed teeth because of the squish- but I enjoy that. The family had a great selection of main foods, sides, breads, and desserts. They've done away with the chocolate fountain but chocolate dipped marshmallows are available. On a Friday late afternoon- 3ish- we spent around $40 for 2 adults, a teen 14-16, and an older kid 9-12 which are different price categories- for the buffet and 3 beverages

Everything we ate was Delicious, Fresh & Hot! Kids even ate their broccoli 🥦 ( Of course one had it with cheese, but said it was... busting, busting which means.... Yummy Sooo Good ) We all cleaned our plates! Server was very friendly and we never had to ask for anything, she was very attentive! We will be back again! Thank you, to the entire Golden Corral Team! I am a tourist from China and I decided to try the buffet at Golden Corral Buffet & Grill. I was impressed by their variety of dishes and their reasonable price. Their service was also very friendly and professional. They had many foods that I had never tasted before, such as steak, fried chicken, cheese pasta, carrot cake and so on. I think this was a great experience, as it gave me more insight and appreciation of the American food culture. The only thing that I did not like was that some foods were too sweet or too salty for me, maybe I need some time to get used to them. So I gave them four stars, but I would still recommend this restaurant to others, especially those who want to try different flavors. I hope next time I come here, I can enjoy their food more. 👍

The cesspool of Pensacola comes here I guess. Disgusting food. Watery ice cream. Chicken tasted terrible, fish was fart like. It was just gross. The cupcake was almost good but that frosting was disgusting. $21 for the worst place is Pensacola. This place is just disgusting on every level. I'm leaving hungry though trying several items. Gross.

9/10. My family of 5 visit almost every other Sunday for the last 3 years. Amazing staff, treat you like family. The only thing I would fix are the bathrooms. They smell badly, and they are outdated. Always clean but could use an update!

With my husband being a truck driver he's not usually home for Thanksgiving Day. So we started a family tradition last year of going to Golden Corral for our Thanksgiving dinner either shortly before or after, according to when ever Dad's home. We have really been enjoying it. Staff are so super nice. Food is WONDERFUL! And bonus....Mom doesn't have to cook or clean! Thank you Golden Corral ❤️

What is normally a well supplied buffet the cooks couldn’t keep the fried chicken pan full. There were several people lined up for chicken and a new pan of chicken was emptied within minutes after it was set down. This is one of their staple foods. Otherwise a good experience.

I loved the idea of this hook for inward opening bathroom doors. Messing around with doorknobs after washing your hands before meals just negates the idea. Clean hands and really good food, I can go back to this restaurant.

Golden Corral was open on Thanksgiving day. It worked out great for me and my roommate, since our families had other plans. They were packed out, with a line outside the length of the building. We moved quickly, because the employees were organized, friendly, working extra hard to make everyone's Thanksgiving great. I'd give them 11 stars if it was an option. The food was also fantastic. 11 stars to the employees of this Golden Corral.

I ordered the family dinner consisting of steaks for 4 and mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, rolls, banana pudding and they threw in some free cookies. I was not expecting much but with us in the middle of moving we have ordered take out all week. This place blew me away. Way better than outback, chili's or any of the other places we ordered all week...it was under 30 bucks!!!! Everything was hot and cooked to order...really impressed!!!!

Surprisingly good for a chain buffet. Salad bar was fresh with lots of choices. Great butter rolls hot and fresh. Roast beef just right. Didn’t try the steak but it was very popular

It had been several years since I had gone to GC. It felt the same as before. Cleanliness is priority for me. It was clean, though very busy. Menu hadn't changed much before I think it's a good thing. I forgot that they had a breakfast menu. I went I guess at brunch 😉. Like everywhere else, pricing had increased, but that is to be expected. Gourmet meal, no! But I wasn't expecting that either. The fried chicken was cooked through and through. The veggies were cooked well. The rolls were delicious. Over all, a nice experience. Wait staff was courteous and friendly. Yep, I put this experience in the places to eat file. Have a blessed day.

Truly enjoyed our Thanksgiving lunch!! Prices were reasonable ($14 for senior). Food was tasy. Service was excellent!! Sophia had THE BEST attitude!! She was bubbly and full of energy. She zipped by, picking up are dirty plates as she passed our table, making sure we had our drinks full and checking if we needed anything. ..like butter for my bread. Enjoyed her smiling face and cheerful personality!! Happy Thanksgiving!!

I ate here with my family on Friday evening. A very clean family place to eat. The food was all amazing *thank you to the Chef who made my 'rare as I can get it' steak. It was AWESOME ! A great variety of foods, something for everyone even the pickiest eater. The Buffets were clean and full each time I went up. Now to the main reason for my review and the 5 stars I have given above. I'd give more if I could. Yvette !! Our server was absolutely awesome in every sense of the word! From the moment we sat down and she greeted us, through our meal and as we were leaving. She is the epitome of the perfect server. Full of personality and smiles, she never slowed down in making sure all of her guests were happy and full. We never had to ask for a drink refill or for empty dishes to be removed from the table. We didn't feel rushed or neglected at all ! When she wasn't taking care of her guests she was filling the plates for the buffet and always had a smile and greeting for everyone she passed. So a big thank you and a hug to Yvette for making our dining experience enjoyable ! We will definitely be back and will be asking for her!

For as busy as it was the staff was super friendly and they kept up with all of the dishes they offer.

We had just picked up a friend from the Pensacola airport and we all were hungry. We picked Golden Corral because there is always something for everyone. The place is clean and neat. The staff are friendly and helpful. We got a senior discount. It was very busy but we got a table quickly. Drinks were replenished regularly. The food was great. Salad, bourbon chicken, baked beans, pulled pork, chilli. Dessert: blueberry pie, pecan pie, peanut butter cookie, cooked apples, banana pudding with nuts, vanilla ice cream with cherry sauce, whipped topping and nuts. These were all SMALL portions because I like variety. At the very end I forgot cash for a tip. I was able to use my card at the register to get a good tip.

I'm so glad the owner did not give up during the pandemic. He loves his staff and the community and has pressed forward through the hard and rough times. The food is always great, the staff which many have been there for many years are always friendly.

I have food allergies and therefore I can't eat here anymore. But for the average person, the food is decent. However, they serve very few fresh veggies but their meats are good, especially the pulled pork. Until they have gluten free alternatives and fresh veggies, I will not go back. My friends love to eat here.
