Absolutely gorgeous setting. The lake is fantastic and the people are all great!. The rooms are small and old but that doesn't matter. It's so nice, you are only in the room to sleep. We enjoyed it so much.... We booked for next year!

We spent a few weeks there during out evacuation. The lake setting was absolutely gorgeous. The staff were friendly and helpful and the managers Keith and Jo are two of the loveliest people you will ever meet. A stay here is one everybody should experience.

We had a great time! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I like that we could cook in the suites, plus we had our own bbq to use, pots and pans, plates and cutlery were also provided. All we had to do was bring our food and ourselves. The kids hit the beach at 9:30 in the morning and were there until dinner. Everyone had fun, and we’ll definitely be coming back again!

Our family stayed at The Lodge last year and had the most wonderful time, the location and all the water activities available make it such a little gem. We booked again to stay this year and unfortunately had to cancel last minute due to not being able to get there because of a wildfire and the managers were so understanding and kind. We can't wait to visit again in the coming years!

I visited this lodge the weekend as a party of 4. The lodge came with complimentary coffee (very much appreciated), and available hot water, towels and barbecue. The lake nearby is great for a swim, and there's kayaks and boards nearby for use. It seemed well worth the price for lodging, and perfect for a getaway

I found the bed a bit uncomfortable. Other than that all the kitchen facilities are there.

We had a family wedding to attend and rented a number of rooms in the lodge. The rooms were clean and offered everything one might need for an overnight or prolonged stay. The proprietors were very understanding when we chose to sit outside and visit fairly late. The lake was lovely to swim in, and the various watercraft available were enjoyed by all. I would highly recommend this spot if you are looking for a hidden gem that is reasonably priced to rent. I would definitely stay there again.

I discovered this place by chance and I will come back again. When I was there camping for 4 days there was wild fires unfortunately and with the helicopters running all day it wasn't so quiet but I can't complain, I thought fire fighters where doing an amazing job and I was the lucky one having to enjoy a vacation if only for 4 days. The camping is great, they are very professional, there is a little store inside the office where you can buy bread and milk or butter, ice creams, coffee, ice for your fridge, just a little convenient store. Also there is a laundry room inside the main office. I enjoyed the little lake swimming in the hot days we stayed there , 37 degrees, the water was cooling the heat! I do reccomend this place (although I don't really want to because it will be even busier than it is already 😂) but they deserve the good reviews, and I forgot to mention they also have beautiful cabins on the lake. For dog lovers they have a large area for TVs and tent camping with a playground and dog park as well. Showers cost $1x4 minutes, enough for a good shower, washrooms sparkly clean and well serviced in every area, with a sink to wash your dishes outside.
